As I'm used to Google, and I recently migrated to Firefox i came across to an issue that dragging from the Firefox's download tab to Discord chat just doesn't work, any advise?

no clue what happened this morning but my computer deleted all my local data. I was able to log back into my windows profile, however, everything was gone that was only locally saved.

Just downloaded all my clouds and was so happy to have my firefox account, BUT, when I logged back in, my bookmarks didn't come back. I am 100% sure they were synced, so I am hella confused. I also cannot find it among the backups.

As of last week, Firefox Private Browser stopped asking me where to save downloads and only downloads to my PC screen as shortcuts. Prior everything was downloaded to a specific USB hub. Nothing on your community site addresses this problem nor is there a fix on the menu

I like the fact that FF has its own PDF printer. However, whenever I use it, the resulting PDF is blurry. As it displays blurry, it will then print blurry. So I default to Adobe PDF and print to PDF that way. I am on Windows 10 running FF 110.1.

I recently got Windows 10 set up with a Korean keyboard, but when I go to Firefox, the language remains English. To wit, I am typing this right now with the Korean keyboard selected. Tabbing out to a different program works as expected.

When I try to switch the keyboard, it doesn't matter which is selected--it always types in English.

I could find no troubleshooting help online for this.

I have working touchpad scrolling in all windows apps except for firefox.

I tried all 3 states of `ui.trackpoint_hack.enabled` and it still doesn't work. Scrolling is working running in troubleshooting mode. I ran "refresh firefox" but it still doesn't work. I made sure all synced plugins were disabled and still doesn't work.

How can I fix it?

I want to change the filled color of the popup that appears when i hover over a link or my bookmarks. Additionally it would be great to transform the windows borders from round to a rectangle.

I use the, 110.0.1 (64-bit) on Win10 and the ChromeColors (Proton) Theme

V. 110.0.1 will consume the C drive to 100% and it will stay there even when FF is not executing. The 13 processes use 750 MB of memory and once the drive is tied up, nothing else can be loaded or run. Sometimes if FF is closed, usage will eventually fall to the point where other processes can run or mouse clicks will be recognized. Sometimes if CCleaner is run after FF is closed, FF will crash even though Task Manager shows no FF processes in the list. This all seemed to start with the installation of v. 110.0.1. I have reinstalled v. 110.0.1 with no effect on the hang issue. The system has been running without FF and no drive hang or 100% usage has been experienced. Will not run FF until a new version is released. Chrome running the same websites does not hang the drive and uses WAAAAAYYYY less RAM. Sad, been using FF for decades. Problem does not exist on my old iPad either. Browser crash data has been sent at least twice.

Please help, I'm trying to see what actual DATE I went to the website, and/or the time. All Firefox history shows me is the order in which I went to the website. For example, if I got to History>Today> it just says that I went to supportdotmozilladotorg, not the date or time. Same if I go to "Last 7 days" - it's simply a list of the sites I've visited, not which day of the week I went to them. Any advice would be appreciated as this is somewhat urgent since I'm trying to report fraud from a website and need to show what date/time my activity was on there. Please help and thank you. I'm private./win11 Have never seen this before. Very difficult to "erase" firefox and reinstall. The buttom was missing ? I could only chose reinstall.

I managed to Erase Firefox and installed it again from scratch - It still says your browser is managed by organization ?

It's a brand nex PC HP Victus. And I have some difficulties with a website,' which I suspect to be the culbrit.

After the latest update, in addition to having to import my roboform data from chrome because firefox "lost" it, firefox no longer restores previous tabs on startup. I have checked the settings and in General, the checkbox to restore previous tabs on startup IS CHECKED, however, every time I reopen firefox, only a single tab with my chosen homepage appears on startup. It is annoying to have to redo my tabs every time I restart firefox, and all of the help pages just say to check restore previous session / tabs. However, as I said before, that box is ALREADY CHECKED, and yet firefox still refuses to restore tabs on startup. How do I fix this?

Every time I press the print key since the last Firefox update it opens a new firefox window. It doesn't matter if Firefox is selected or not. I can't find any macros or shortcuts that are bound to the print key, so I don't have any idea what could have caused this.

I have Firefox 113 on a 14" laptop. The toolbar takes up 1/3 of the height of the screen, which I find intolerable and an obstacle in my work. According to my research, there is no way to adjust the height of the toolbar only. I have a vision problem and need to have fonts a certain size. Any reason why I wouldn't go back to Firefox 110? I have 110 on another 14" computer and it looks great.

Whenever launching Firefox on MacOS Ventura 13.2.1, simultaneously the App Store also launches. This was happening even before the most recent update to Firefox browser (my current, up-to-date version of Firefox is 110.0.1). Also, once the App Store has launched (on top of Firefox, as if launched after browser window rendered), the App Store gives dialog box with a message to the effect of "can't load App Store". The only recent change I can think of having done with anything to do with internet settings is having assiged DuckDuckGo as default browser (which I've been rethinking anyway). Are there some recommended steps I should attempt to get Firefox to launch by itself without dragging along an unable to launch App Store?

I want to stop Firefox from silently updating in the background during browsing sessions. When it finishes updating like this, currently open tabs stop working and I can no longer open new tabs. The only fix is to restart Firefox. This is a problem if I am, for instance, going through a set of web forms as the information I enter will then be deleted and I have to start again.

When I have used Firefox on Windows, the requirement to restart Firefox to install updates has always been indicated by some change to the settings button on the top right of the window. With Ubuntu, the update is downloaded and installed without any action from my part, and given that it is quite disruptive this is unacceptable.

I have tried a number of ways of changing this, none of which work. Under the general settings tab, there are no options for changing the way updates are handled. Settings under about:config appear to do nothing. I have app.update.auto set to false, and app.update.notifyDuringDownload is set to true. I have attempted to circumvent these by setting a policy using the policies.json:

None of these have made the slightest change to how Firefox handles updates.

I am running Firefox 110.0.1 (64 bit) on Ubuntu 20.04.5 LTS, but I should point out that this has been a problem for the last several years of Firefox versions on the same OS.

I am trying to reset my password as it has not been changed in a while. When I go to the change password area of my profile, I type in my existing password, and the new one, and then it says "Incorrect Password" every time. I know that I am typing it correctly, and I have even used the exact same password to login to this very device, and my mobile device, to double and triple check I have it right. It works when logging in to Firefox, but when used in the change password area it tells me the password is not correct. I am at a loss what to try next.

It can happen that screenshots of web pages do not show the whole web page although you have selected "whole web page". The screenshot is max. 32767 pixel high.

Example: https://kb.mozillazine.org/About:config_entries If you want to have a "whole" screenshot of the website, the image is cut off after "privacy. sanitize. promptOnSanitize".

As a new max. for width and height I suggest 1 048 576 x 1 048 576 pixel. A zoom function would also be useful for large images.
