확장프로그램을 설치했는데, 원래 대로라면 브라우저 상단 주소창 옆 도구 모음에 설치한 확장프로그램의 아이콘이 나타나야 하나 나타나지 않고 있습니다. '도구 모음 사용자 지정'으로 들어가서 직접 추가하려고 해도 추가할 수 있는 아이콘이 나타나지 않습니다. 이 외의 방법으로 사용할 수 있는 방법을 아무것도 찾을 수가 없는데 대체 어디서 어떻게 찾아서 어떻게 사용해야 합니까?

i installed a add-on program however this icon for using is not shown on browser's menu bar. there is not on personal setting, so i cannot find how do myself. wat should i do?

I'm using VSCode debugging plugin for Firefox in order to debug my angular web apps. The plugin states that it only works when launching Firefox with "-start-debugger-server" argument. This launches Firefox with an interface warning, recoloring search bar bright striped-red with a warning "Browser is under remote control (reason: devtools)".

I would very much like to remove this warning, since I'd like to work in this mode all the time anyways. Is there any ways to do so?

Hello, I want to get funky looking tabs like this:

But I can't figure out how to do it. I've tried searching for a way to do this, but everything I find is very old and doesn't work. One thing I keep finding is this: https://github.com/wilfredwee/photon-australis

But that doesn't work for me, it just makes the tabs less tall. I've tried switching to nightly and that didn't do anything so I'm pretty lost. I don't know CSS or anything so I cant do it myself.

If anyone knows how to do this then please tell me!! thx!

I use a MacBook AIr with OS 14.4.1 (Sonoma) and want to add a short cut link to Proton Mail (Free version) that I can put in my MacOS Dock. I am using Firefox 125.03 version.

I used to have a link in my Mac Dock but then I tried the trial of their desktop app-- and when that ended recently, I did not know how to set the Dock link up again. I tried directions for other browsers but they did not help.

'The link I want the short cut to go to is' https://account.proton.me/mail so I can sign right in to check my email.

So I checked Proton's support site for help but it has directions to do this ONLY from Safari and another browser, NOT Firefox.

If you can give me some straightforward directions to add the shortcut to Proton Mail sign in back to my Mac Dock, I would be grateful!

The "page info" window showed up when I used ctrl+i to italicize something in a blog post. This has never happened before.

I assume I did something to "enable" it, because right before that I had been typing looking at the screen and not the keys and felt/saw my hands going wonky, but I'm not sure what on earth I did! I asked a friend about it and they said it just seemed like an issue of the browser and website commands fighting, but they weren't sure what to do about it.

I want to have an automated task that sorts the incoming mail to separate folders. I have done this easily in Outlook, but Firefox's Thunderbird is different and I haven't figured it out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I can't delete and replace Roaming>Mozilla>Firefox folder with a backup copy in Windows 11-- I get an other-program-using error.

I have done this many times before in Windows 10 and it always works beautifully. In Windows 11, however, I get an error about another program using a file in the folder. If I try to delete the folder I get a message about needing permissions from user (for clarity, the user account is an administrator). Now I am also very familiar with Windows permissions. I checked and administrators already have full privileges on the folder. Even if I explicitly add my particular user, nothing changes. I have done some other sleuthing but nothing helps identify the problem.

A bit of context – I just bought a new Dell, rather high-end and expensive laptop so I am really not amused at the fact that I can't just port in all of the stuff in the Firefox folder so I don't have to lose everything related to Firefox from my previous laptop. I do nightly Acronis backups so I have the folder and files but somehow Windows 11 is not letting me do my usual substitute backup copy of Firefox folder for new fresh-install Firefox folder.

Please — help — I had hoped that I could use the Acronis Universal Restore feature to move everything over from my old system to my new hardware — I've done that before. Unfortunately that wasn't an option given that the new machine comes with Windows 11.

I see other people have been having problems related to this folder with Windows 11 but I don't see any solution — again, please help!

Hi We want to use tablets with our own site as screens for clients. I need to set fullscreen option for when i open mozilla by default (with auto open option this would secure that no one undesireble would do anything unwanted). Is there any option like that within browser?

Every time i go onto a site like YouTube, Chess.com, ChatGPT etc, it asks for my login each time and i know there is a setting for it to remember me so i do not have to log into my account every time i use the site but I have looked everywhere and still fail to see it. Where about can i turn this setting on so i do not have to sign into my profile to use the relevant site. Thank you.

I was browsing a webpage that turned out to be in Portuguese, and I was looking for how to translate it, but the internet indicated that Firefox has built in transation! However, neither the Translate Toolbar Icon nor the Translate menu option appear, even if I visit a site that absolutely should be translatable (https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mozilla_Firefox)

Additionally, if I go to Settings -> General, there is a Translations section, but if I click the Settings button, there are no languages in any of the boxes and no option to add any.

I am on Firefox 126.0 for Windows.

Here are the things I have tried:

• Restarting Firefox
• Rebooting my PC
• Disabling all my extensions
• Running Firefox in Troubleshooting Mode
• Clearing my Startup Cache
• Performing a "Refresh Firefox"
• Toggling and Untoggling browser.translations.enable and browser.translations.automaticallyPopup

Does anyone have any suggestions of something I could have missed?
