I'm experiencing usability problems with the new theme and I'd like to share what I'm experiencing.

Hi I am currently creating a Firefox plugin and I am trying to grab the data from the secure website certification to use and display to the user is this possible?

Basically, what it says in the title. Not so long time ago I started noticing that Firefox starts randomly "freezing" when switching between tabs (most often) and clicking on links within webpages. I put "freezing" in quotation marks, because it's not really frozen - I can click on the tab and interface would respond, but showing new tab wouldn't happen. Few things to consider: 1) Bug present in both latest stable and beta versions 2) Bug still present in completely clean installation of Firefox, without any add-ons and not signed-in in the account 3) I use v2ray and Qv2ray to bypass internet restrictions of a country where I am currently at. It seems that "freezing" has to do with poor internet connection. Has anyone encountered similar problems?

Site design switch to dark mode is broken for me in Firefox Developer Ed. 92.0b3 (aarch64 on M1 machine) at multiple places like manning.com and their Live books or at spring.io. This not so on my intel Mac where this works fine.

I switch to the site's own dark mode. Unlike in my other browsers, the site theme doesn't change. This means Firefox Developer 92.0b3 cannot render one of the designs of the site. I've also tried with all extensions off and this doesn't change anything.

I think this worked when the install was fresh, but clearly something broke. It could be an aarch64 bug, but unsure at the moment.

I'll try with another profile, but it would be nice to find the actual cause too.

Any ideas?

So I just bought a new HP laptop. It has 2 Terabytes and 8 GB of Ram. Basically I want the firefox version that is the MOST stable BUT also has the newest shit. I would like to do an update of Firefox Browser. I've been unable to log in to websites, such as my bank, for which I have been able to access. Strange but I could log in, then for about a week I couldn't log in to bank site via my Icon shortcut. Then it began working again under the original icon. I was forced to use google during this time, which has worked. I prefer Firefox, because of more privacy. Again today, I was unable to access aaa.com, I was able to sign on via my iphone 8. Then I tried Google sign on, again it worked. This problem is intermittent. I thought I'd make sure Firefox Browser was updated. I have windows 7 on this computer. The browser update seemed to start then just hang.

Hello, I ran into an authorization problem after restarting the application. For example, I installed firefox and log in YouTube, then closed firefox. And when I ran it, I had to log in again

When I attempt to open Email after opening wowway.net in Firefox, a new window opens at "http://wowway.net/files/wow/login.php?bounceto=http%3A%2F%2Fwowway.net%2Fzmail%2F%3Fautologin%3Dtrue" and the screen only contains this message: "Please wait while we are logging you in." It never logs in. Wowway.net says the problem is with Firefox and instructed me to use Microsoft Edge to connect to wowway.net and that does work OK. When I click Email from wowway.net in Microsoft Edge, it correctly connects me to "https://email.wowway.com/modern/" from which I can access all my email.

PLEASE HELP! I want to access my email with wowway.net through Firefox as I have for years.

Back in the old days of classic extensions, they had access to FF's GUI elements, provided such privileges were asked in a manifest file.

For example, there were extensions that added tab's title to the URL bar. And I want to do exactly that nowadays, too.

WebExtensions can not do that but this should work with userChrome.js, right?

If so, maybe someone has already done it and I simply could not find it. Does anybody know?

If not, then how do I access the URL bar object to add text (e.g. page's title) to it or something else?

I downloaded the new Beta version of firefox and can not connect with my email server- inbox.com anymore. I have to check my email with google chrome.

Sometimes when starting Firefox ("developer edition", running on Ubuntu 20.04, Gnome shell, X11 windowing system) it appears 80% full screen -ish, but actually the window is full screen size - you just can't see it. It flashes really fast, and doesn't repaint correctly. It's very hard to get rid of it as you're never sure what you're clicking on.

Restarting it a few times and I get lucky and it works. I think this problem has gotten worse over the last few months.

I believe it might be something to do with the anti fingerprinting, but I'm not sure. It's making it unusable for several friends, but I'm a bit more stubborn so I'm looking for a fix.

I have a problem, which only seems to apply to Firefox. I am a developer for a site which uses LetsEncrypt certificate. When I access it via Firefox (and only Firefox), I get the error message as mentioned in the subject.

I tried to understand why this occurs. A quick Google just leads me to an issue with the Microsoft domain, and what I can understand was a Firefox bug.

Trying to figure out if it is a problem with Firefox, or a problem with the certificate. Any thoughts?

I have been using Firefox for over 20 years. I used to be able to log unto my router and Firefox would warn you about it and asked if you would like to continue. Now I get "Secure Connection Failed

What I did to learn more, was use a different browser. I had no problem. Today I try tp log into Foxnews.com. I get a blank screen and I can't log in.

Starting to wonder if I should get rid of Firefox.

I have set up 11 custom devices that max the min and max sizes of bootstrap grid system (xs-min-360w, xs-max-575, etc) to aid me with checking my website on various screen sizes. Is there anyway to export this list or better still to synch them with my Firefox account so I don't lose these settings?

I am using Firefox Developer Edition (101.0b6 (64-bit)) on Ubuntu 20.04.
