I have just updated Mozilla/Firefox and opted for the VPN option. Mac desktop, MS Tahoe up to date, my nominated browsers are Firefox, Duck Duck Go and Safari.

So when I go to start my first search, why am I offered a window to type in my query which invites me.... search with GOOGLE...??? I want nothing more to do with gurgle, I have gone to lengths to avoid those bolld suckers.

it seems that every time i enter a website it searches thru yahoo

For about a week now, I can no long read the comments on Huffington Post articles. Is it something on Firefox that's causing this? Previously their comments worked fine for me.

I'm using Firefox 150.0.1 on a MacBook Pro with MacOS Monterey version 12.7.6. I'm running Malwarebytes version 3.1.7 and have Huffington Post on the "allow" list.

I am unable to bookmark anything. Some suggestions are to open a new table then type about: profile and then hit restart. When I do that DuckDuck then searches profile.

Hi, I'm using a policie file to force a family-dns. Ive written the current code down below. Unfortunately this leaves the "manage exeption"-button open, where its possible to simply bypass the block for a specific site. Is there a way to lock this button in the policie file? Since the last update, I am gettin constant pop ups. I have the blocker turned on. I do have some websites exempted, but I did not make any changes. I get the pop ups all the time now. I used to be able to change the pop up settings on the search bar, but I don't see that anymore.

I have been using Firefox for years, but may have to switch back to Safari if this cannont be resolved.

Currently when I click a link in and email, it always opens in Microsoft Edge even though my computer has Firefox as default browser. Is there another setting I'm missing?

I'd like to try the new Firefox VPN, but I can't find the icon to turn it on, not even when I customise the toolbar. I searched several times. I know the VPN is available in my region (the Firefox browsers at work all have the VPN icon), but once I enter my email and password for my Mozilla Firefox account, the icon disappears. What should I do?

After rebooting my computer, Firefox hangs for a very long time trying to access common websites such as cnn.com, facebook.com, mozilla.org and apnews.com. A google search will work, but the links (including the google control links at the top such "AI Mode All ... More Tools" are not active. Often there is a message at the botton of the screen indicating some external site is being accessed. During this time, other sites that do not have external references will quickly open in other tabs (bwi.com is a good example). After about 20 minutes, everything magically starts working correctly. Disabling "secure DNS" does not correct this problem.

Went to VRBO website to look at a reservation and the website, which showed me as signed in, showed nothing of the reservation. Said I had no reservation,, no history of saved searches. When I used Microsoft Edge, all my previous reservations, searches etc. were accessible. I cleared my Firefox cookies, etc. still had the same problem

I’m experiencing a serious issue after updating Firefox to version 150. Since the update, Firefox frequently freezes and crashes, making it almost impossible to work normally.

My laptop has 16 GB of RAM, and I’m using Windows 10. When I check Task Manager, I can see that Firefox’s memory usage suddenly increases to around 7–8 GB, then drops back down to around 3–4 GB. The memory usage keeps fluctuating heavily.

Also, the number of Firefox processes/tabs in Task Manager keeps increasing, and eventually the browser becomes completely unresponsive.

Could you please investigate this issue and let me know how it can be fixed?
