Using Win 10. Desktop. Firefox is up to date. Problem happens even when all extensions disabled.
Every time I open Firefox it starts with a single blank page. This is fine, it is set to open new pages with a blank page but I also have have the [Open previous windows and tabs] ticked too and it never remembers.
Menu bar's [History] > [Restore Previous History] is greyed out.
Simultaneously, though not necessarily related, I am unable to pay for anything using my eBay balance.
Firefox is not downloading a full page. Also, does not always respond to clicking a button and is effectively locked up.

My Dell laptop with docking station and Firefox browser were working fine the evening of July 22 but on the afternoon of July 23 all my bookmarks on the toolbar were gone. I had not touched the laptop during that 16-20 hour interim. When not in use, I have my laptop off and unplugged. I also note (but cannot explain) that Mozilla has me contacting "my account" through Windows 10. I have not used Windows 10 in 3 years (or more). I have continuously used Windows 11 Pro during that time frame.
I have reviewed some of the articles and email exchanges between a volunteer and a Mozilla user whose bookmarks were also inexplicably deleted but found those exchanges confusing, Unfortunately, I'm concerned that I'll do something that further fouls up my system. Email is working fine (the new outlook) and the apps are working fine. Is there a way to recover my bookmarks toolbar? If not, please explain why. Also, since Mozilla seems to wipe out my bookmarks periodically (this is about the third time) what preventative measures are available.

My checking acct was hacked on GOOGLE EM yesterday- person charged a HP laptop to my checking account. Thankfully, my credit union alert phoned me to confirm this purchase and did not distribute the $1275 charge. I phoned them and they filed a fraud report and blocked my card. They advised I contact HP and 'CANCEL" this fraudulent charge. I phoned the number for HP on the email I received confirming my purchase and a second HP email saying my payment was declined. I was forwarded to their FRAUD dept, agent. Who took my name, phone and address. Then advised me that they cancelled the purchase and it had NOT been a completed bank transaction.
I am gettingHUNDREDS of spams daily. I used up the 5000 BLOCKS they allow over a year ago. SICK OF GOOGLE porn, fake US GOVT, and CASINO deposits as well as coming from all over the GLOBE into my email. I do send everone of the fake US GOVT email to Fraud report website I do report SPAM and also PHISHING on each one of these hundreds daily...soooooo tired of GOOGLE SHITMAIL! I have webpage (Home Assistant instance) on my local network on which I would like to use microphone (for Assistant functionality). Page is completely local, i.e. not visible from Internet. My issue is I can't force Firefox to allow microphone access on this page. I've tried messing with media.devices.insecure.enabled config, but it didn't help. Is there any way to add such page to some whitelist to allow microphone access? From what I gathered Chromium-based browser provides "--unsafely-treat-insecure-origin-as-secure=..." option but I didn't find anything similar for Firefox. I know I could expose my server to outside network and get SSL certificate (from Lets Encrypt) to make it work, but exposing server to Internet just to get local microphone access somehow doesn't feel like a more secure solution. I could probably also issue self-singed certificate but dealing with that also seems at least annoying.

I have noticed in the last month or so a new phenomenon. I regularly need to access such platforms as Microsoft Ads, Google Ads and Google Analytics. Previously with my FireFox VPN turned on I had no issues. Now I cannot access these sites unless I turn off the VPN. I think there was a FireFox update not long ago. Should I be experiencing this issue or is there a resolution to this problem?
