Every time I launch Firefox it creates 12-13 instances of Firefox along with one each for Chrome and Console.

I don't need that many instances. Typically I have no more than 3-4 tabs open.

Is there a Configuration setting that I can change to reduce the number of instances to 5 and greatly reduce the amount of time it takes to launch.

I am running Windows 10 Pro V21H2 at current update level. I have a custom made tower with 512GB SSD and a Core2 Duo processing running at 2.93 GHz with 8 GB Ram. Firefox is V17.0.1.

I need login.json en key4db but when I backup them en use them on a new profile the passwords are not showing and i need a verry important password thats stored in the can anyone help me with recovering this?

Some new messages are flashing on my screen when I'm looking at my In Box on my PC or I-Phone and then they disappear. This problem has occurred several times in the past week. I can only find the messages by going online to Gmail or by checking All Messages on my phone. Yesterday, one was a personal message; today the message was a login code sent by Firefox.

A while ago I formatted my computer, and installed FireFox for the first time. Ever since installing FireFox, I noticed an issue which has been a constant source of frustration, when I rewind any YouTube video the playback volume changes to a lower value, until I rewind again.

I tried looking online, this is the closest match I've found, but there's no solution there

I tested this issue on different browsers (Edge, and IE), no problems there. I tried disabling extensions, no change. I tried resetting FireFox, no change. I made sure that Windows doesn't automatically adjust system volume. I tested this issue on different Video platforms, no problems there.

I use YouTube when I practice (music), so I rewind a lot.

Any help is very appreciated.

it was oki going live on tango from my pc on windows on firefox browser and 2 or 3 dayes ago it only crash message .. oopss ,,, Something went wrong. We will be back shortly ... reload

I try to install Firefox on a HP Z1 G8 desktop under Windows 11 Pro. The first time I get a warning that a .dll is not available or so (I dont know what this warning is precisely, becaus it pops up for 2 seconds only ) , and firefox is not well installed, reinstalling goes without warning, but still Firefox starts and then stay dead, no sites, no settings. I know the security in this computer is very thight, but other apps install without problem and functions.

Why Firefox cant be installed where other apps can ??????

browser bar is striped pink and gray... I have tried EVERYTHING!!!!! It is too hard to read. I have done all the about:config, I have reinstalled multiple times- always come back. I am at my wits end.

I DO NOT LIKE THE LARGER BARS AT THE TOP. It takes 1/3 of my screen. Give a choice or adjustment to bar sizes. I can't see all that I use to be able to see. Now I am looking for a new internet browser that is more like the one you use to have. I DO NOT LIKE THE NEW VERSION!!!!!!!

Not sure how to explain this without the images... But I opened up YouTube just looking for some videos and uhhhhhh. I checked on other things in my computer to see if it's just my GPU or some weird graphic thing, but everything that isn't firefox seems to be working OK. It's not that terrible, I'm just really confused.

Why is this happening? And can I fix it? Started like... two minutes ago.

[Firefox 104.0.2 Linux 64x] Memory leak when Ctrl+S

After Ctrl + S, hundreds save dialog shows up and stack together. You can see the shadow effect on the edge of the dialog box is darkened due to stacking of the dialog boxes. CPU usage will jump to 110%.

Not sure what causes this...

I am glad to use the firefox app on my device. I have been using firefox for the last three years but I have not experienced any difficulties during these three years of period, now firefox has a few technical issues occurred such as it is unable to open the searchable page regain if I minimize a page and leave it for three or five minutes when I want to see that page regain to use. It would be opened blank in the device without searched page.

Dear Team, I am always facing problems when opening driverpracticaltest.dvsa.gov.uk link. the problem is with both windows and android. whenever I try to open the link it always shows error from website that they have blocked the website for security reasons. I have disable all the add-ons for this website but still get this error every time. Sometime if i do not get error it redirect me to the CAPTCHA verification but CAPTCHA never loads. no matter how many times we reload the website. I have to switch Edge just to open this website. please do something about it. Thank you

I want to visit a unsecured web site (camping site). I notice these mom and pop websites are unsecured. How do I visit it. I'm a big boy and dint like to be told where i can visit. However, I don't mind a warning.
