I deleted Firefox from my Windows 11 computer because it was having issues. I reinstalled but I did not get back the same settings I have on my laptop. I have tried to do a complete uninstall and remove all Firefox files but, there are files attached to my Avast antivirus that I can't delete. Also when I down load it wont Sync. Firefox is my browser of preference and I do not want to use another browser. I should also note that Firefox has been completely removed from program files, program files(x86) as well as program data but there are still file in Avast and Windows. See picture attached. Hello. I experience a problem that occurred 2 days ago. Firefox seems to ignore my preferences of opening previous windows and tabs, also it ignores pinned tabs. Some of websites disappear from the history (let's say i opened few windows to check if tabs will be saved by firefox, closed browser, opened it after few minutes: tabs are gone, history has only few of websites that were open. I tried to look for the problem by myself but failed. I will be grateful for your reply, thank you in advance.

Hello everyone, My browser opens with two small pop-ups that pops and closes immediately right before the actual firefox window shows up. I have noticed that some time ago and I'm pretty sure this wasn't happening before. I didn't do any updates or add on's (firefox or windows). What could be causing this? Could it be a virus infections? Windows Defender scanner doesn't find any threats. Thanks for any tips and help.

I have Canon EOS Utility installed in order to use a better camera when streaming. For some reason, when I'm using Google Meets, it will only let me use EOS Utility, ignoring the option of using my laptop's webcam. I've tried revoking permission, but when it asks me for permission again it won't show me my laptop's camera, only EOS Uitlity. I've tried disabling EOS Utility under Windows settings, but it's still the only camera that appears.

I'm having this insanely irritating bug where when I have my DAW software, specifically FL Studio, open at the same time as Firefox, and I try to pull up any sort of video or content, whether that be Youtube, Twitch, Dropbox or Google Drive files, or even videos just being queued up by Twitter or Reddit in the background, there'll be a chance that Firefox sort of "crashes," and goes all white (or grey with the default theme) for up to dozens of seconds, and forces the video to reload, or it just breaks the player.

​I need to be able to use my browser and my DAW at the same time to preview and drag files into it, and to work with video, so closing one or the other isn't an option. I've tried everything short of a drive wipe and OS reinstall; I've tried making a new profile, disabling extensions, disabling hardware acceleration, the troubleshoot mode, and even a complete wipe and reinstall of both Firefox and FL Studio. Nothing has worked.

​Has anyone else had that issue and hopefully been able to fix it? Or does anyone know any way to alleviate this? Thank you!

​I'm using Windows 11 Pro on a Framework 13 with an AMD 7840U with all the latest updates and drivers, and can provide specifics if needed.

I am using Mozilla Firefox for accessing google map from Excel macro.

but since i changed my pc, i witness following error: On clicking this macro, I can see firefox shows expected link in address bar. But after 2-3 second it brings me back to my home location. Please guide me in this regard

I have a problem. When I access my Firefox main default screen I open up a respective website I want to access but within a matter of a few seconds the main default screen automatically opens up again meaning I now have two windows open which shouldn’t happen! I have opened up ‘Help’ and have refreshed Firefox a few times now. Additionally, I have opened ‘Troubleshooting Mode’ which comes up with ‘Restart’ then ‘Open’ and I have ‘Refreshed Firefox’ from this option. I have cleared my Cookies and Cache. I asked for help through the Firefox Community. I received one response asking if the problem still happened in ‘Troubleshooting Mode’. My response 'yes' it does but I have not had any other reply. Hence, I am stuck. Nothing has worked which I find very frustrating. I have used Firefox for many years now but if I cannot resolve this matter I will have to select a different browser which I don’t really want to do.

The following html inscription animates when clicked (the duck in the image quacks), but for some reason, the animation doesn't activate on http://ord.io with the firefox browser. I wanted to bring this to your attention because It works on http://ord.io with every other browser.

I am visually impaired and I need the Fonts to be Bold. I have changed the font and size but I can hardly read them they are so light. Especially on the Book mark page.

When I'm viewing a PDF from within Firefox and try to print the page, it shows a smaller version between 1/2-3/4 of the size of the paper. I have "fit to page selected" and this doesn't change it. I try a larger than 100% scale and this doesn't change it either.

However when I download the pdf and pull it up using Acrobat it allows me to print full page, fit to page, scale, etc no problem.

Initially I thought it was my printer, but I removed and reinstalled the drivers for the printer and I don't have this issue with any other program except for printing from Firefox. It's almost like the Firefox browser has too small of a page default set so that it's fitting to a page, but the page is smaller than 8.5x11 printer paper.

How do I fix this?

I need to run speech recognition in Firefox (OS solutions are not suitable in my case), but I can't get it to work. I've tried following these instructions in Nightly, Dev and regular version, but they all end with a network error. I also asked my friends to check and they had the same thing happen. Do I need to follow the steps to run offline or is the problem much deeper?

Since about two days ago firefox on both my PC and laptop has been trying to connect to a random website called ponf.linkedin.com that I have no idea where it came out of.

I have no clue why this was but I reset both browsers on both devices + reinstalled windows 11 on my main PC and it only continues happening on my PC now, i've managed to replicate the behaviour by resetting the browser and everytime that happens firefox attempts to connect to this website even though bitdefender blocks it and nothing comes up, no popup or anything as if its just in the shadows.

Does anyone have any idea why this would be and what I should do? any help is appreciated thanks.

In some recent update firefox privacy and security settings changed from saved logins to saved passwords. I find this much less useful. Can i change back to saved logins?

For example, firefox is open in the background and when I click on a url from discord, it opens the link in firefox but does not bring the page to me, I need to minimize the discord.

After switching to Firefox from Chrome, after Chrome started acting wierd, especially when it came to youtube, I haven't been able to pay for Ubereats deliveries, all that happens is it stays on the checkout page. making me bring up my phone and pay that way as I can still use the basket I put together.

Tried to report it to Ubereats but whoever was on the other side of the chat, seemed to think the problem was with the phone app and closed the ticket without solving anything.

How someone here can help figure out why it's happing.
