when I hit full screen in the lower left on youtube videos it says full screen unavailable on all videos. I have tried all the recommended setting adjustments in the config and they don't work. yet full screen for youtube videos works in all other browsers on my mac which is an M2 pro macbook pro running sequioa 15.7.4

Please fix this as it is really annoying and I may stop using this browser if it is not taken care of. It just started yesteday out of nowhere. No changes were made on my computer during this time.

This must be a setting in Firefox somewhere relating to Tabs, so I will continue to investigate, but... I feel like I could always click an email link I had received and it would open my preferred browser, in my case Firefox Mac OS latest (both) on a last Intel Macbook Pro. Now, a link click opens Firefox but only to the last page I was on, and I again need to click the email link to get the new tab to open. Why/where/help please?!

I don't see the suggestions when I'm typing. It was the most visited site by me and firefox was autofilling it. Now I can see there's nothing in my history like it is the first time I use firefox. I haven't changed anything in firefox settings or system files etc. It's just got deleted. I'm a MAC user

I've seen similar reports of this in the past. But I believe my case is different.

I had to reset a password tonight, requiring me to re-login to the account in Firefox. But, the tab/window would just freeze. I don't see anything immediately being blocked (ie: any DNS filter etc).

But, I CAN get it to work in Debugging mode, which suggests either there is an extension that is blocking it, or something else (some variable that is otherwise active in regular running Firefox). I just don't know which.

Has anyone else reported this and what might be the issue? I suspect uBlockOrigin (one), which I do use. But the other extensions I use are just for Youtube, IG, etc.

Up until a month ago, I was able to download gifs from the giphy.com as actual GIFs. What has changed in Firefox and how can I troubleshoot this so I can get the desired file format of GIF?

Hello, Having some issues with two websites that don't load correctly. Can you help me with this ? It has been going on for a while withe my car brand website configuration page so I have to use Safari for that, but today it happened with my bank website. Although the option to "Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed" is unchecked in my settings, I am still getting logged out of all websites when Firefox restarts. This was never the case when I used Safari, and it's quite inconvenient to have to log in to so many websites all over again, especially when two factor authentication is required for many of them.

Is there anything that might be causing this, anything I can check or do on my end so that I am staying logged in on restart? Thank you.

I have two separate Firefox accounts, with separate emails to log in and their own sets of bookmarks, passwords, etc. I want to merge all the data from both of those into a single profile of a single account under just one of the emails.

I'm pretty sure I've done this before, by: 1. Logging into account A and syncing. 2. Logging out of account A without deleting data. 3. Logging into account B and syncing. With the result that account B now contains all its original data plus all the data from account A.

But when I just tried to do this process now, at the point of logging in to account B I got the error "Account limit reached for this profile. This profile was previously synced to a different account. To keep your data organised and secure, each Firefox profile can only be synchronised to one account. To sign in using [account B], create a new profile."

I don't want to have separate profiles with the data from accounts A and B, I want it all merged into the same profile. How can I achieve this?

Unlike Safari, Firefox doesn't autofill passwords or 2-factor codes. Please implement these features or tell me how to get them to work. MacOS 14.4.1 Thank you, Steve

Until some days ago I could use the add on "Video Downloadhelper" without problems on my old Macbook Air (2017) with OS10.15.7 but suddenly the add on was not available anymore. I purchased a valid license for this add on. In the Firefox adjustments it was mentioned as deactivated. Could you please let me know, how I can activate the Video Downloadhelper again? I have 4 macbooks and iphone w. about 10000-19000 bookmarks. Last n. I noticed what I bookmarked on 1 machine wouldn't show on another. A pop up said "your profile has reached a limit. A device can have ony one identity..make another (sic)...." I did that, and found the bookmarks from "classic" profile, WHICH I'VE HAD ABOUT 20 YEARS, weren't imported. I uninstalled, reinstalled Firefox, managed to get the bookmarks back via a desktop folder I'd made, thank god! It didn't restore the 50 passwords, and still won't accept the previous password..which is another can of worms-it actually won't let me change my p/w w.o "you may lose your personal bookkmarks passwords etc!:" Even the 32 digit code (which I had saved) is not working...and it doesn't let you get another one unless you have a p/w!!!! Is this sounding a vicious circle....I am going to not use sync or another profile, b'c I'd rather keep my personal data (bookmarks) and rightnow, I was able to 'restore' to the original profile!!

I've lost my bookmarks after Firefox restarted after computer crash today. The bookmarks library is empty, and I could not find another profile. I could not find "Old Firefox Date" on my desktop.

I'm on a Macbook Air, Apple M2, Sequoia 15.3.1
