New computer, new Firefox install. Old computer has the Library Icon in the upper right corner when the browser opens. I imported my bookmarks, but can't figure out how to get the Library Icon positioned.

a few days ago, Firefox stopped playing sounds. Any sounds. not youtube, not on Facebook. Not even porn videos. nothing. i don't remember installing any new software and Chrome plays youtrube sounds just fine. I listen on headphones and when i unjack, i still can only hear Chrome's browser play sounds. It seems like its not my comp, its the browser itself and it's only happened recently. i have yet to uninstall the browser and re-install, but i think if i use the Mozilla backup program to save my bookmarks, it will save whatever setting is causing the problem as well and re-installing will get me nowhere. anyone have any clue? i'm sure it's something simple but i cant figure it out

Just a couple of quick questions for CSS coding as of Firefox 115:

What CSS code refers to the shield, padlock, permissions, or all other toolbar buttons in the address bar?

When using control to select multiple tabs, what code refers to the outline and text color of the tabs?

Just today (2-13-24) I discovered that certain functions of Outlook (web based) do not work in Firefox. All functions do work in Edge browser. Windows 10, Home version. I can read my emails but cannot delete them. I also cannot delete Junk Email and probably others, but I've not attempted others. When I try to delete Junk emails, it seems that they are deleted, as they disappear temporarily from the folder, only to reappear after leaving the Junk folder and returning to it.

Looking for possible solutions.

I have zero clue how 150+ of my mother's passwords suddenly appeared in my account. Further, why the hell many of my passwords are now GONE! My mother has not used Firefox in ages and there is ZERO reason her Google Garbage should be anywhere NEAR my Firefox account. I have been using Firefox since my early teens but I will sure as hell jump ship if there is not a damn good explanation and fix for this utter BS!!!!!

I have to press the F11 key to see the menus, scroll bars, taskbar, etc but the screen then goes back to full-screen mode.

How do I prevent full-screen ?

I received a scam Apple (security) popup (on which I never clicked) and from that point on, some 30+ obsolete tabs congregate across the top Firefox browser window. How do i lose all these unwanted tabs?

Firefox slows down when I use web developer tools, I use this whenever I try to save an image on Instagram or other sites that I go to just to save an image or look for the video using the web tools.

Is there a way to fix this issue it lags the browser or it freezes for a second.

when I attempt to open firefox, a window opens: xul runner error: platform version 120.0.1 is not compatible. minversion>=119.0.1 maxversion<=119.0.1 If I click the "ok" button the screen goes back to my desktop.

Menu-pulldowns malfunction, after a while of usage, on a large 2ndary monitor, on M1-Max macOS Sonoma -- I have to shutdown, and restart Firefox to re-activate !

Could we get a totp authenticator for Firefox. I've been using Authy. They used to have a version for all OSs, Linux, Mac, and Windows - as well as Apple and Google phones. They have just discontinued their desktop apps. I was thinking wouldn't it be great if an authenticator was built into Firefox? I envisage it working like a password manager insofar as the authenticator code gets autopopulated.

This could either be built in or offered as an extension. The later may be more palatable lest the corporate overlords label Mozilla as troublesome.

Dear Anyone.

I've got Firefox 125.0.3 - but ALL Firefoxes have ALWAYS done this!

I've got 12 gig RAM. I've been browsing for - say - a couple of hours or so, I look at how much RAM I've got spare and it's down to about 2 gig. So I close Firefox via Task Manager and all my RAM comes back. Then I REOPEN Firefox and all the old tabs are restored - but this time around, hardly using any memory! Which tells me the hewge memory munch was unnecessary the time before.

Firefox has ALWAYS done this from day 1. Nobody's ever fixed it, through all these updates. I've got the latest version and it's STILL memory-munching. How do you stop it? It's just annoying because you can be using other software that crashes because it runs out of memory, because Firefox has munched all its memory for no reason.

This is just a question, I'm Asperger's, I sometimes sound like I'm asking a leading/angry question but I'm not. (Not this time anyway!) Is there a workaround for this memory-munching problem, is it ever going to be fixed or is it too deeply embedded into Firefox's programming TO be fixed?

I am running Firefox ver 123.0.1 (64-bit) on Windows 10. Unsdersatand that there is built-in support for certain media like common images (JPG, JPEG, GIF, PNG). But I go to Menu Bar and select Tools > General > Applications > Content Type and I do not find a media type for JPG, JPEG. Is there a way to add JPG, JPEG Content Type? Actions?
