Dragging and Dropping folders to upload on dropbox.com have worked flawlessly before Firefox 150.0

Now in Firefox 150.0, dragging and dropping a folder will result in the tab crash.

Note: This tab crash does not produce a crash report as nothing is shown for this tab crash on "about:crashes"

The regular version of the browser is open with a bunch of pinned tabs and a private version. And!!! If you close the REGULAR version , but DO NOT close the PRIVATE one before that, then when you try to reopen the REGULAR one, ALL OPEN WINDOWS AND TABS will BE DELETED!!! WHY?!?!

And these tabs are not saved in history, because they WERE NOT active in this session!

Where do developers' hands grow from?! Well, this glitch was a couple of years ago! But now?! A month of work preparation went to hell because of Firefox failure... How do I restore tabs that were just blown away by the browser?

I keep getting the Firefox download page instead of the Firefox browser on my Windows 11 computer, even though I downloaded it several times after it was accidentally knocked off by some other program. How can I get it back to the Firefox browser?

So before few days firefox decided to automaticly update. after thet no pasword was saved in system. undery system data 2 files: logins.json-1.corrupt/json-2.corrupt without any data in files (but size is 130KB). i need these logins ASAP.

when i open the browser today i noticed that my wallpaper which i've set isn't showing. i tried restarting and refreshing the browser but it didn't work. so i tried to change my wallpaper or see it again by clicking customize, but i only saw that i have allowed my wallpaper, but no picture or another option was shown.

I can't log into my Google account using Firefox. Can log in on Chrome using the same device so I don't think the device is the problem. It was fine until about an hour ago. When I attempted to click on a YouTube tab the tab closed. Any attempt to log in redirects me to a Google support page about deleting my cache and cookies. Which I've already done multiple times and I still can't log in.

I had security set to strict in previous version and it blocked the ads in Yahoo email. With this new version I haven't found a way to do this. Please enable the feature again or let me know if there is a workaround.

I tried to login to Autodesk for some discussion about file retention, etc. I logged in using my user id and password and then Autodesk sent me a code as a two factor identification function. When the page opened the place to enter the code it looked like the image that I have attached. I could not enter the code supplied by Autodesk as FireFox kept trying to get me to do something with email masks. Is there anything I can do to fix it?

Hello Is it possible to configure firefox in such a way that it remembers forms history on pages, but does not remember search history in firefox? I have classic search bar enabled and all things that I enter in address bar or search bar are remembered and suggested to me. I can disable saving forms history but it limits usability for webpages for me. Is it possible to change something in about:config that would enable me to remember forms on pages but forget forms built into firefox? Another annoying thing is fact that I have to clear both forms history and search history, I cannot separate it.

I'm unable to download any of my Intel updates. I've turned everything off that I know could be blocking it and authorized Intel as a safe download. I don't know what else I can do please help. Google states that I should be able to go to the shield and the address bar and turn off the enhanced tracking protection however it will not allow. I've gone to the settings page and set it to custom as well as clear all check marks in that setting. Still nothing will not allow me to download my updates for my Intel drivers. Please help

When using the built-in VPN, even if you turn off the "use VPN for this site" toggle, the site does not open until you turn off the VPN completely. I have a local company website that doesn't work when VPN is enabled, and I want to use the new built-in VPN with an exception for this website. But after I turn off the "Use VPN for this website" toggle, the website still won't open. The only solution is to completely disable the VPN for the browser.

I have explored every option and find it is the latest FF update that has effected the web performance of both my Desktop and laptop. Both are running Windows 1O. Incredibly slow connectivity and some sites either time out or simply won't connect. Very frustrating. Please advise. Tks

Steps to reproduce:

   Generate an image using Gemini Web.

   Right-click the generated image and select "Save image as...".

Actual results:

   The saved image file (which is around 8MB uncompressed) is frequently corrupted.

   There are noticeable pixel misalignments, visual glitches, and tearing across the image.

   Re-saving the exact same image causes the glitches to appear in different random locations, indicating an unstable data transfer from memory to disk.

   Sometimes, the saved filename gets appended with random gibberish characters (e.g., Gemini_Generated_Image_fuy00sfuy00sfuy0.jpg).

Expected results: The image should be saved completely without any data corruption or pixel misalignment.

Additional Context: > When performing the exact same action in Google Chrome, the browser negotiates a compressed format (around 2MB) and the image saves perfectly with 100% data integrity and no visual glitches. The issue seems isolated to how Firefox handles large image blob data saving.

See the subject. I've been seeing delays in launching for several months. I've run several windows defender malware checks (full and the one where it runs outside of anything brought up). I've reset firefox. I did all this also because I was seeing random ads from a news site from what they were trying to get me to do was install macafee (but it's malware). While I'm not seeing those ads now and I'm suspicious they can from the news site vs. my browser, I'm very aware of anything trying to capture screen scrapes. I'm even considering changing all my passwords as I'm not sure if anything was captured. This morning, firefox upon launch took a long time. Then it said installing updates. My desktop flashed and firefox launched. I have not installed anything or any addons, extensions, etc. So either this was firefox doing an update it needed or it's something else. I'm on windows 10.

For some reason the program has stopped saving my passwords, all of my bookmarks are still listed but they are disabled. No autofill. When I manually put in a username and password the program drop down asks me if I want to save it, I reply yes, but it doesn't happen.

I have Mozilla VPN installed on my computer, but not in Firefox. Recently, whenever I turn the VPN on or off, the tab I have open in Firefox reloads. This usually doesn't matter, but sometimes it's really annoying, like when I'm really deep in an infinite scroll website. I want to turn it off, but I tried turning accessibility.blockautorefresh on in about:config, and it still does it. I don't want to blindly mess with settings when I don't know what they do. Does anyone know if there's a setting/group of settings I can use to stop Firefox from reloading on network change?

I've just discovered that a lot of files I've downloaded in the last few months have the original file date instead of the download date. This has created total chaos and confusion with my organization as I have no idea when I did anything!

I presume Firefox has changed something. But why? When? What files does it affect? How do I change it back?

And why weren't we told about this huge change? After over 30 years downloading files from the web, it's become second nature that downloads always take the download date. A monumental change like this needs to be clearly signposted or it's going to create chaos with people's file systems and organization.

Update: On reflection, I think this is a Windows 10 bug, rather than a Firefox issue, so perhaps this thread should be deleted? I looked at the properties of the files in question and discovered that all three dates DO match the download date. The problem seems to be that WINDOWS ITSELF is displaying EXIF data dates instead of modified date. I only recently started using Windows 10 and this would seem to be a Windows 10 bug.
