I installed the Facebook Container some time ago. But recently realized that Facebook is tracking me, because I'm getting targeted adds on FB. I have also had Firefox set to always use Private Browsing. Today I discovered that the Facebook Container dose not work in Private Browsing. SO, What is the best way to keep FB and others out of my business (short of not using FB)? All this time I thought I was protecting myself and I have not been. HELP!

I tried to change the font-size of address bar, tabs, sidebar and toolbar using the method given in The method given in: [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/que.../1239467] gives no change at all of the font-size no matter the value I use. Any ideas? I'm using Windows 10 Firefox 127

Hi, i have problem with uninstalling uBlock Origin i cant remove them from extension tab. I tried refreshing firefox, reinstalling, opening firefox with troubleshoot mode and still nothing i dont know why is so difficult.Even when i reinstalling firefox this addon onstalling by itself even when im not logged in.Please help me. Hi, got a problem for the last several days - on each visited site Firefox (my guess) is launching a pop up about add-ons for Ad Blocks tham I am using were updated with official national filters for Polish market.

This is super annoying and the pop-up jumps on almost every new site bieng visited (it is visible for ca. 5 seconds). Is there any way to stop it? How can I dissable this feature?

Firefox has started making a piercing high-pitched screech when the "save image" and "file update" panels appear. This is a confirmation or alert sound I suppose. It occurs when saving an image from a right-click menu and when downloading a file. Formerly Firefox used the system default sound for this, and that sound is still working in other programs for similar operations.

How can I fix this? Or alternatively how can I disable the sound during such operations in Firefox (or alternatively system-wide)?

1. In the past there was a restriction on the suggested number for "network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-server". Is that still the case?

2. Does prefs.js contain all the altered about:config settings? Can I safely transfer "prefs.js" to other profiles in attempt to enable all those settings changes, instead of changing them manually, one by one.

I have Multiple Google play cards and the Play store won't accept anything..I have sent Multiple documents..emails..receipts..basically everything they have asked, I have sent in..they have kept my main Google account in flag state for almost a year..when I have been giving them all bank..ids..etc that they ask for!! I'm trying to add the Adobe Acrobat extension for some forms since I prefer it over the app, but it does not seem to be available in Firefox's extension add-ons. The instructions I found from Adobe themselves don't seem to account for the most recent version (unclear which version I have, I got it off the microsoft store) and there's a FAQ board saying the extension is only available for versions 73 and older. Is it simply not available for me or am I not looking hard enough? Thanks!

On firefox 126.0 (64-bit) the option for spelling check is enabled, but will not appear on the context menu box when right clicked. This happens for the desktop sites of Facebook and Instagram.

Ridiculous with the new update page saying " A browser that's truly yours My Firefox: More Speed, More Security, More Fun." 'Block Site' merely blocks access to a list of sites, but does not stop them appearing. is there a way to stop websites which use <gob.mx> in the address, which attempt to re-direct to 'mirror' sites that try to steal personal info and generate 'Illegal re-direct' warnings from anti-virus programs from appearing in firefox searches, automatically, rather than having to enter <XXXXXXX, -gob.mx> each time I search ?

I have enabled my new Theme but it keeps defaulting back to my old Theme. I have tried closing Firefox and opening new tabs. Opening a new tab also changes it back to the default theme. I have sent an image of the old theme. The new theme is Aurora Australis. And the second image shows this Theme enabled. What gives? Carl

I am very strongly opposed to any AI features being forced on me. When I opened Amazon today I discovered Fakespot had turned it self on. Might there might be some way to edit my config file to not have this happen again?

This setting got reset on me last night. Using 127.0.2.

So, I set it to custom, add in a URL, close the settings, re-open the settings and see it is set.

I close my non-pinned tabs and then close the browser.

Upon opening the browser, I am greeted with an empty tab and the Setting has reverted to "Blank Page".
