Hi, i have problem with uninstalling uBlock Origin i cant remove them from extension tab. I tried refreshing firefox, reinstalling, opening firefox with troubleshoot mode and still nothing i dont know why is so difficult.Even when i reinstalling firefox this addon onstalling by itself even when im not logged in.Please help me. Thanks

When I restarted my PC and opened Firefox only 1 tab Open previous windows and tabs. All the other 6 disappeared. I opened 3 additional tabs, closed Firefox, and reopened Firefox and only the one same tab was there from the previous session. Why does the feature not work properly?

Dear People --- FIRST: I apologize for taking so ling. I had physical probs, that kept me from coming back. SECOND: I'm afraid that I can't solve this problem with the advice provided. There was a file mentioned [which slips my mind, and I can't look for it with out leaving this screen] that is supposed to be on my desk top. I couldn't find it, so things stopped there.

SO..... I'm reiterating my problem: I loaded an "update" to Firefox that was supposed to get around the obnoxious "THIS BROWSER IS NO LONGER SUPPORTED" message I'd get on certain web-sites [such as the Milwaukee Journal]. I never understood that, as I am careful to update programs, when the updates are available. SO: While I was on the Milwaukee Journal Site, I clicked on the "Firefox Update" that the Journal's site recommended. What happened was I got the Current Version, and LOST all of my add-ons. After problems I can't go into here, "The Cat's Back." Please advise whether I can get things back after this much time.

N.B.: I'm running Windows 10.

SLES 15.5 QU2 in Mozilla Firefox 115.8.0esr was not supporting window.close() and it's showing like "firefox already running , but is not reponding to use firefox you must frist close the exiting firefox process , restart your device , or use a different profile"

1. In the past there was a restriction on the suggested number for "network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-server". Is that still the case?

2. Does prefs.js contain all the altered about:config settings? Can I safely transfer "prefs.js" to other profiles in attempt to enable all those settings changes, instead of changing them manually, one by one.

I tried redownloading Firefox after I saw that i was unable to download any extenstions/add-ons. Anytime i try to download something from the firefox browser, the download fails or gets cancelled. I never changed any settings, how can i fix this?bold text

When I open Firefox these days, the window is so big that the toolbar is barely visible. I have to put the cursor in just the right little spot to pull the window down and resize it. It is NOT full screen or maximized, it just opens a huge window that's too far up on the screen. I just want to resize the default window that it opens with.

Ridiculous with the new update page saying " A browser that's truly yours My Firefox: More Speed, More Security, More Fun." WHEN YOU CANNOT TURN OFF THE IDIOTIC popup spam for the updates NOT EVEN GOOGLE CHROME DOES THAT. And ridiculous it has to LOAD THE UPDATE after restarting the browser lag time and IDIOTIC BRIGHT SCREEN FLASHING even if you have darkmode on, JESUS CHRIST this browser seems ridiculous and FAR WORSE THAN THE OTHERS WHEN EVEN CHROME IS BETTER with these settings and not being pointlessly ridiculous rofl. Is there any reason why the menu item text in the URL popup menu is so spaced out in FF 115 and 125?

It's the only menu I've found like that.

See attached screenshots. The one on the left is FF 115, and the one on the right is FF 88 (more normal).

Is there a way to fix this?

And also remove that "Add" menu item at the bottom?

whenever i close a single open tab, firefox closes and i have to reopen it to my home page. In the past i could actually revert back to my home page after closing tabs. And then can only close down firefox by hitting the top right X. Unfortunately i have forgotten what i did last time, so any help would be appreciated Ta Doug G

I want to have an automated task that sorts the incoming mail to separate folders. I have done this easily in Outlook, but Firefox's Thunderbird is different and I haven't figured it out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How do I get Firefox browser to stop from loading automatically upon booting up or restarting?? This has been happening since the last browser update. I checked the Firefox controls but could not find a button to toggle this off. Please advise. Thank you.

So the issue i have is when i'm trying to access my gmail accounts from Mozilla. Whenever i try to access my mailbox or gmail site in itself it transfers me to outlooks login. I assume there's some setting or similar that i'm missing that's causing the issue but i haven't been able to find it.

I've narrowed it down to not being any add-on since i only got few but none of them should affect anything email related in anyway shape or form. Also it works fine in Chrome which has been my go-to go around for the issue but honestly it's getting a bit annoying.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

But I can't figure out how to do it. I've tried searching for a way to do this, but everything I find is very old and doesn't work. One thing I keep finding is this: https://github.com/wilfredwee/photon-australis

But that doesn't work for me, it just makes the tabs less tall. I've tried switching to nightly and that didn't do anything so I'm pretty lost. I don't know CSS or anything so I cant do it myself.

Please see the attached screenshot. I get this popup EVERY TIME I open FireFox. I've tried a number of different suggested "fixes" from Google Searches with no success.

I want this popup GONE.

It is annoying that search executes immediately instead of triggering on enter keypress, especially when a web page is big. Is there any way to disable auto-search and trigger it only when you press enter?

If you want to understand better it's pretty similar to this VS Code issue.
