Why did Firefox Quantum stop supporting the Weather Channel website's hourly forecast pulldowns, while Edge still supports them?

When I'm on the US Weather Channel's website (I use the URL of "https://weather.com/weather/today/l/USMA0518:1:US" ) for the "Hourly" forecast pulldown menus for where I live in New England. When I click on the "Next 8 Hours" text at the bottom of the basic list while browsing with the latest version of Firefox Quantum (v.62, in 64-bit version) to view the next eight hours' worth of hourly forecasts, NOTHING happens to reveal the hourly forecast updates; while on the version of Microsoft Edge (currently dated for May 21, 2018) clicking on the "Next 8 Hours" actually reveals "the next 8 hours" of weather forecasts, like Firefox Quantum USED to.

I use the latest "v.1803" version of Windows 10 X64 for my operating system, and so far, where I'm someone who DOES need to check the Weather Channel for such forecasts as a "matter of routine"...should I simply drop Firefox Quantum 64-bit for MS Edge, or can the strictly 64-bit Waterfox browser be a better choice (AND still allow me to use that "Next 8 Hours" pulldown, as Edge still does)?

Thanks in advance for any help or advice!

I tried to bookmark a page and when I did I couldn't find the folder that I normally put it into. I can't find any of my folders. Please go back to the way you had it. It was simple and easy. This is just too complicated.

When I click on items with a site/page opened within FireFox, I often get a new tab opening that is a spam tab. This isn't happening within my other browser (Safari), so it seems to be a bug within my FireFox. I tried trashing Firefox and reinstalling, but it still happens. If I change the default search engine and restart Firefox, I’ll be using my engine of choice. If I setup the html autoexport and restart Firefox once, same. If I restart a second time, it’s Google.

I use autoexport for backup so I’ll consider using the other documented method to do so, but still, weird thing.
