Hello:

I must use the magnifier that came with Windows or I cannot read the screen. All was fine until Firefox updated. Now, when I try to use the magnifier, Firefox and all the sites I am using freeze. The entire screen fades out, and an hour glass shows up. But nothing happens after that. I have to go to the task manager and close Firefox, then start it up again.

I checked for Windows updates and everything is current. I am using Windows 10.

How can I fix this?

On my work laptop, I disabled "Recommended by Pocket" to avoid distractions.

On my personal laptop, that setting is already enabled. But I never see any stories recommended by pocket when I open a new tab. What can I do about this?

I was set up, in myuserchrome.css, to hide my pinned tabs on the tab bar, allowing them to still be available in the "List all tabs" menu, see first image

All of a sudden, it reverted back

That first image, with the hidden tabs, is actually from Librewolf, with has the identical setting.

Since the latest download one of my 3 win10 PC's is displaying icons on top of the text. Firefox is up to date at Ver 118.0.1 (64-bit) I expect its a setting but I cannot find it. Screenshot attached. TIA KR's Andy B

This is a recurring problem. I have just been on to Vodafone who have tweaked my router as my speeds, download and upload, were very erratic, and upload speed often zero so connections failed. Sometimes my phone speeds were similar but not always. The Speedtest by Oopla desktop app also showed erratic results but often when they were OK the web-based test on Firefox was much worse, with upload speed zero. When I started this Firefox showed upload speed zero. Now Firefox shows upload 18Mbps. This variability keeps happening and is driving me spare, as even emails often fail to go through - I use Thunderbird. I shall see how things go tomorrow and tell you how it is going.

What is going on? Before, I was able to close firefox with the close button. Now, anytime i do that, when i reopen firefox it will not reopen the tabs. Sometimes I will be able to type in the search bar and almost get the windows to switch.

This is so annoying, ive already lost a lot of tabs i will not be able to get back.

Centurylink Webmail will not open in Firefox. Worked yesterday but not today. Can open it on Chrome, Edge, and surprisingly a "Private" Firefox window.

I've made no changes to browsers in the past week so don't believe it is anything I did.

Help, please. Not sure what to try next.

I contacted you the other day and refreshed which helped somewhat, today It would not come up aT all. I am contacting from edge at the moment. I am very frustrated. Is there a chance I could talk to a live person; this takes way to long?

Is there a way to stop Firefox from creating a desktop shortcut every time it updates? It is just desktop clutter for a lot of people, especially since Firefox is pinned to the taskbar anyhow.

I was uninstalling another app when I noticed that there are two application icons for Firefox, one dated 3/25 2023 and one dated 9/26/2023 (just installed new update). How do I get rid of the first application dated 3/25/2023?

I used to use Nimbus Screen Capture, until it started having issues with the latest Firefox configuration.

It was capable of allowing the user to create a template to customize screen capture title.

Is there any way to do this for the Firefox built-n screenshot tool?

My website main image has displayed via Firefox browsers seamlessly for years. However, recently when visiting my website via Firefox browsers the main image no longer displays.

I have cleared cache, and followed all direction provided on the mozilla support site and the image does not display. It displays via other browsers and also on tablets and mobile but again not Firefox any longer.

firefox is missing my language (hebrew) in new the update and i can handle the browser being in english but i can't seem to be able to change the display of the app from left to right back to right to left

I have screenshots of the error I receive when logged into the website. The support staff from LawofSelfDefense.com says everything on their side says I should be receiving audio and video. I have checked DuckDuckGo privacy settings and they indicate that their product is not blocking anything from the website.

I used MS Edge this morning to stream a live episode and it works! I do not want to access these streams using any MS products/software. Something in Firefox is preventing me from Live video and Chat activity on the site. What can I send you to help me fix this problem?

i do not want the new update of firefox, and theres no way to shut off the updates. i can only switch to ask me when to install and manually install, not that i do NOT want to EVER install the latest firefox, because it truly SUCKS. it screwed up all the fonts everywhere on the web, somethings are huge and others are too small to read. i woke up a couple of days ago to an unreadable internet. i had to reinstall the last update before this one, start from scratch with all my passwords and a lot of hours of messing with my computer just to have it bearable and able to read my emails. now it keeps prompting me to install the latest. like every few hours i get an annoying pop up to install the latest. then to get it to go away i had to click on something, that downloaded it even though i dont want it. i seriously may have to switch browsers and abanadon you all completely because thats how bad your latest update is, and thats how much it sucks to not be able to stop it form harassing me every few hours to instal it....with no way to turn it off completely that i do not ever want the latest crap update.
