I've suddenly started getting continuous pop-up notifications warning of a virus, a trojan virus, system alert, etc. Some mention McAfee (I use Total AV and have run scans and it says there are no problems). THese bitufucatuibs sat they are coming from Firefox. They are just constant and even when I delete them they just keep coming. What's going on?

Enhanced Tracking Protection is preventing access to x.com even after it is allegedly "turned off" for this site. I have been using personal computers since the 1970s after the IBM PC was introduced, but now I am about ready to ditch Firefox AND Windows 11 to install a decent version of Linux. Grok on my iPhone 8 offered several suggestions to resolve this issue, but none of them have worked so far... including trying to us Microsoft Edge instead of Firefox.

I have all my info in Mozilla sites, passwords... try to back up my new phone and WHAT.., back up the phone and erase all the info I have on mu computer!!!

I've not been able to use that site for a long time on Firefox. There's something particular about Firefox. Chrome works fine. Reinstalled a few times, made sure no VPN is active in the browser (I dont use one). And posting results in "Posting from your IP range has been temporarily blocked due to abuse [More Info]. Please verify your e-mail address or try again later. ". Every single time. Rather than stop using Firefox I hoped someone here would know what's going on.

I've been using firefox for a little while- maybe three months now. I'm no expert on any of the config options. I run firefox using the built in VPN that my friend showed me how to enable, and I've been using it since. But now, as of roughly today, whenever I enable the VPN, no websites will load. At all. When I turn it off, they load instantly. But whenever I turn it on, it just gets stuck loading forever and ever, never actually getting anywhere. I tried enabling network.dns.disableIPv6 in the config page, because that's what I saw on a mozilla support page- nothing. Didn't do anything. The browser.ipprotection.enabled is still on, and I didn't change anything in settings. There was a firefox update very recently, but everything still worked with the VPN on. I just updated my computer, but I don't think that's it either because it wasn't loading things earlier today either. Not sure how to fix this. Please help?

I am tired of continuely having to "dismiss" or "delete" from homepage sites I have visited. On my homepage. The homepage quickly becomes cluttered with shortcuts that I have to dismiss or delete. How can I prevent the browser from placing these shortcut on my homepage?

I’m not a technical person and so could you please share the specific and safe steps which will resolve both the error state shown, and the TLS logging issue without creating any other unintended consequences. This happened once before - then cleared after the next update. Now, after a recent update, the browser display is unstable again. Not a problem with any other browser - so it's NOT the computer. Any suggestions ?

I just updated my browser and now I am unable to access my work profile because FF made me choose my original profile because they both use the same email. I would rather kill the original account and get back my work one. Can I do this?

Firefox has an old email address that I cannot access. My current email is listed as my secondary contact. I am unable to get rid of the old email address and make my current email the primary.

The new theme is terrible, but after choosing the grey option, it's usable. My problem is it resets for no reason. I don't use Firefox's home page, but that is the only place to change the theme of new Firefox. WHY? I have been a Firefox user since it was called Phoenix, and this recent change might finally break me.. Floorp is looking really good these days.
