Trying to access search Home Depot, Lowes, Tractor Supply gives errors. Works with Chrome. Started about 2 weeks ago or so. I use Starlink, no VPN, tried disabling Ad Blocker, Clearing cache for Lowes, no Add ons, but still doesn't help.

Error msg from Tractor Supply is: Access Denied You don't have permission to access "http://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/catalog/lawn-garden?" on this server.

When I try to make a Google search I get the following message, "I'm not a robot" with a reCAPTCHA: "Our systems have detected unusual traffic from your computer network. This page checks to see if it's really you sending the requests, and not a robot. Why did this happen?". This happens on Firefox, but not Chrome or Edge. If I 'Allow' Google in the 'Exceptions - Cookies and Site Data' then I do not get the message, but it takes several seconds for Google display the resulting page. However, if I delete the cookies/cache the message will return and I have to redo the reCAPTCHA. I have scanned with Malwarebytes, Bitdefender, Hitman Pro, Trend Micro House Call and Microsoft Defender, nothing detected. Running Win 10 (64) with 'Extended Security Updates', Firefox 147.0 (64), no additional Extensions or Plugins. Also I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox.

I used to be able to log into Peacock without issues. Either Firefox changed something or Peacock did. But it no longer works correctly. I can sign in, but the main menu appears for a split second, then the screen goes black.

Firefox has been my browser of choice for well over 20 years. I have a game I play every day (from FaceBook) just this week when I try to go to it on my laptop - it says your browser does not support WebGL. it has always opened using Firefox - this is a new error message. and the computer is only 5 months old and has Windows 11 on it. I do not want to switch to Google or Edge.

Like I said - opening the app worked every day up until about a week ago. What gives?

I just got a new Dell Windows 11 desktop PC to replace my old Dell Windows 10 PC. Since switching, there are three sites that will absolutely not load the homepage: Paypal, Venmo, and Common Dreams (which is a news site). The same sites continue to load instantly on my old Windows 10 PC in Firefox, and on the new Windows 11 PC on Edge. Firefox is the only browser I use, I just use Edge to test sites, I uninstalled Chrome because of Google's privacy and AI issues.

In the lower left corner of the window for these three sites are the following messages, for the three respective sites:

• Waiting for www.paypalobjects.com...

• Sending request to jssdks.mparticle.com...

• Waiting for www.commondreams.org...

What's going on here? Seems strange that Firefox continues to behave normally on Windows 11 for all sites except these three, and works perfectly for these three sites on my Windows 10 PC. How can I further troubleshoot and fix this? I don't want to have to use Edge to visit these three sites, esp. Paypal and Venmo.

I'm guessing it has something to do with cache or history but am not sure how to proceed...

If I go to AOL.com they useually have 40 or so news articlaes/ads you scroll through. Several weeks ago the text for the articles stopped displaying. I have tried other browsers and the text shows up. Not sure what setting may effectr this.,

Why do a number of familiar functions in familysearch.org in a tab in Firefox in Windows 10 in a laptop computer fail in the last few weeks with the message: Oops, something went wrong. Please refresh the page. topped by a triangle with an exclamation point inside? Question 1.

Is this message generated by Firefox? Question 2.

Could this failure be caused by a timing out of some impatient wait loop? Question 3.

When I start familysearch.org in a tab in the Edge browser all these familiar functions work. I have noticed that my whole system seems to be running slower in the last few months. I have been running familysearch.org in a tab in Firefox for years without this failure. Refreshing the page as advised by the message never works to accomplish the function. The functions in familysearch are Details for a person, Sources for a person, or the Tree for a person. There were even cases a week or more ago when the Details for a person were visible only down to the display of family where the error message would appear in place of the family information without affecting the earlier data.

I’ve been noticing an issue with YTS-type sites on Firefox. The site either loads partially, the player doesn’t start, or it keeps buffering without playing anything.

What’s strange is that the exact same site works perfectly fine on Chrome and other Chromium-based browsers. Videos load instantly there, but on Firefox it either breaks or takes forever.

Things I’ve already tried: – Cleared cache and cookies – Disabled all extensions – Tried in private window – Checked network (no issues)

It feels like something related to Firefox compatibility with the video player or scripts used on these sites.

I also tested another version here which seems to work better on Firefox:

Not sure what’s different (maybe a different player or encoding), but it loads without issues for me.

Has anyone else faced this or knows what might be causing it?

I have been logging into Facebook forever. Suddenly today I get to the login page, click on continue and I get the white dialog box but no fields to enter my login data. I don't know if Mozilla did an update or not and broke that feature. It is the only thing I can think of that would cause the issue.

This is only an issue in Firefox, so it's not an issue with my ISP or anything. Chrome shows my location correctly. Around 2 weeks ago after an update to firefox, it's just been constantly showing my location as Dublin. I'm in the UK. Certain sites show it correctly, some don't. Google doesn't show it right.

Several sites i check show it in the UK correctly, but google and a couple others show as in Dublin. I only run a limited number of extensions, Ublock surfshark, and bitwarden. If I put a uk location on surfshark, then google is right, but turning it off and then it is back to ireland.

Exactly the same issue with DuckDuckGo browser but no difficulties with Safari where I can login to Facebook as usual …

128.13.0esr This is probably a huge long shot I know, because every forum etc on the internet has nothing that ever helps with this, but as it only happens in FF I thought it was worth a try.

Yesterday I changed my Privacy settings to 'delete cookies when FF is closed' and added a few exceptions. Then this Google Search reCaptcha thing started. Changed it back to what it was, basically the default setting there, but it was still happening. It only happens in FF [doesn't happen with Edge] and only on one pc, all other pc's and phones in the house are fine [all using the same network, router etc]. So I uninstalled FF altogether, reinstalled it...this thing was still happening regardless of what settings I use re cookies etc. If I actually complete the super annoying reCaptcha it goes away for about 1 or 2 searches, then comes back.

If I'm signed in to a Google account it doesn't happen.

I even did a fresh Windows install [which actually fixed this the other time this was happening about 6 months ago] but that didn't fix it this time. There is no malware, no VPN, no extensions that I haven't been using for years. Nothing that could ever possibly be considered 'bot-like' behaviour.

I was using my computer with no issues this morning, then updated to ver 143.0.1. Now when I try to open a tab I see the page briefly flash across the screen and then have just a blank screen. It does not happen on all sites. Sometimes it is a tab within the same site that I can visit. No I am not tech savvy.

my PC was lagging on wake up so I was disabling some things at startup like duck duck go and copilot to see if that helped. I have windows 11. somehow during the process my google sheets will no longer perform copy > paste special values anymore. It works on my Mac and it works on other browsers, but I need it to work on firefox. went to google sheets help, they are also stumped.

I have messenger loaded but with Firefox i can not video call when i want to call a friend or family. I have no way to call any one i do have a web cam. do i need to go to Chrome every time i want to call. Messenger has stopped desktop messenger that was how i could call but now i can not is there some way to Facebook video call on Firefox please let me know thanks I want to stay with Firefox why is there no way to get video calls on Facebook??

I use the IRS form filler to pay my taxes...have for years with Firefox browser. This year (for 2024 return) when I sign into the site the 1040 form does not display correctly. the boxes are to the right and below the actual placement. I emailed IRS who said it is a setting in Firefox. I tried the site using Microsoft EDGE and it displays correctly. I have searched for possible solutions and tried them all like using/on and off excelerator, letting Firefox chose size and colors of sites, turned off Noton etc. I posted another question here but no replies or looks so maybe I did something wrong so I will try to post again. I have W10 fully updated and Firefox too up to date. I understand I could use Edge but never had to and prefer to use Firefox as I have before. any suggestions would be appreciated or where I can report a possible issue with Firefox.
