Since last week there is a cookie that I can not remove in the Manage cookies and website data panel. It is called about.ef2a7dd5-93bc-417f-a698-142... There is probably more but that is not shown in my view. How can I remove that?

I'm using Windowa 11. When I click on a link I want it to open in a fresh tab/page, but it opens on the current page instead. Firefox used to do this: how can I set it up again?

Hi. I have a Dell Inspiron, it’s a few years old, and my computer is running windows. Today I was on a website, doing my assignments as usual when randomly the internet stopped working on the browser (I was on the web for about an hour before this). There was no change to my behavior, I had been on the same site for the whole hour, and had been interacting with the site during that time. My computer still says it’s connected to the internet, and I was even able to play an online game on my computer that I had downloaded, so it looks like my computer is connected to the internet. I’ve tried to clear my cache and open private windows but that didn’t help.

Good day everybody, I am new to Firefox. I have MacBookAir 11. I added the Ecosia extension since it's my main search engine. I noticed there aren't ads popping up for Ecosia. That is how Ecosia makes money for it's sustainability projects, so, as nice as it is to not see ads, I would like them to show up for my Ecosia searches. I understand you can make an Enhanced Tracking Protection exception (and I did), but where can I find a place to make exceptions for whatever AdBlock software came already integrated to Firefox? I am liking Firefox so far. Thank you everybody. Miran.

When I drag a URL from the browser to the desktop, clicking on it triggers a prompt, saying "Do you want to open this file". If I look at the general tab in the properties of the link, it says "This file came from another computer and might be blocked to help protect this computer". This happens on both of my windows 10 computers since they upgraded to the latest version of Firefox (153.0.1.) I need to check the "unblock" option in the link properties to unblock the link. This does not occur with other browsers.

I have updated to the newest version of firefox, and cannot see the menu bar or search field. I can see everything in a restore down (smaller size window) but I cannot see anything in maximize view of the window....only happens with firefox....everything works chrome and edge. If I click on the white bar it minimizes the window.

I am running Firefox version 153.0.1 on a 64bit install of Windows 11.

A few days ago I had to factory reset my computer, including a clean Windows install. Since then, when attempting to access https://vodafone.cz/muj/prihlaseni, I get an Imperva Error 15 "Access Denied" error screen - screenshot attached here. Clicking the Imperva logo on the bottom of the error message leads to https://www.imperva.com/why-am-i-seeing-this-page/?src=23.

I was able to access the site in the past, most recently on July 8, 2026 - this would have been Firefox version 152.0.5.

This error persists in troubleshooting mode but not in private/anonymous (with or without extensions enabled), nor does it appear in Microsoft Edge or Firefox on Adroid.

Clearing cookies and cache did not help - in fact the error first showed up on a clean install of Firefox, when there weren't any cookies or cache stored yet. I've tried different DNS over HTTPS settings and listing the site as an exception in settings, but none of this made a difference. Enabling Firefox's built in VPN also made no difference, regardless of the selected location.

I found a recent post (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1588627) describing a similar issue on a different website and tried the suggestion listed there to try a fresh profile - this seemed to work, but within a couple of minutes of browsing the error message returned. I've even reinstalled Firefox entirely, but this too did not help for long.

Interestingly enough, the error message lists a proxy IP address (not blacked out on the screenshot) despite the fact that I am not using a proxy.

The website provider's tech support claims this is an issue on the user side, not theirs - they have not been able to replicate the issue.

Is there anything I'm missing that would explain why this is happening?

On some forums - not this one - I am unable to complete the relevant text box to compose a reply. EG the Devon forum: https://discourse.devontechnologies.com/t/sync-between-mac-and-ipad-works-and-iphone-not-working/87390/7 No text appears and the text box is completely inoperative. The problem is not confined to that site, but I have experienced similar on other Forums.

I use Ublock Origin which I thought might be causing a problem but disabling it has no effect, neither does disabling Little Snitch. As a result I've concluded this is probably caused by something in my settings but I don't know which or where to look.

Any suggestions appreciated.

images, text boxes dropdown menus and anything of the like reload the moment i scroll even slightly text boxes and dropdown menus dont reload text or option chosen just the image/ box no clue what could be causing it doesn't appear on mobile just PC. appears when searching with duck duck go and google also reloads when moving over images and a good chunk of the time only loads them partially/ flickering, not unusable just annoying thanks

Using the Mozilla VPN, I select a location in the USA. After a few hours, my public IP address / location will be different than what I selected in the VPN app; for example, I select "San Francisco, CA" in the VPN, and a few hours later my email sign-in location (or using mylocation.org) is somewhere in India - that's not even in the list of locations we can select for the VPN. Is my VPN being hacked? I'm using Windows 11 with the latest update and the built-in Windows Security. On my android phone, the VPN location shows as 'Starkville, TN', which is also not on the VPN location select list.

i can manually disable the notification requests in a single instance. However, how can i accomplish the same for my other 1000 users in one policy?

I tried different permission notification registry settings, but none seem to work. probably getting lost in the AI web that doesn't exactly know how to fix it.

I’m looking for something i can set in the registry,powershell or by gpo. It should work in all cases, new and existing firefox profiles.

Every time I select Gmail on Firefox page, it requires me to sign in with a code. I have selected 'Strict' for browser privacy and 'Clear history after closing Firefox'... plus a number of other settings. I then get a notice of someone signing into my account each time, as does the person who I use as a backup to my account. I'd like not to go through that each time I access my Gmail account.

For some reason I can not understand the search bar in my toolbar has become so small that it is borderline unusable. No amount of removing and replacing it, fiddling with empty spaces, etc. has any effect on it. Furthermore it appears completely normal sized when I'm editing the toolbar. Does anyone have any clue what causes this?

As of about last Thursday, I have been unable to access my Isomedia.com SpamTitan01 account. I usually have a trove of spam messages, which I look at and delete, except for the one or two that are real emails. For the last 5 days My Titan vault is empty, though it is trying to retrieve data. My address is [redacted] @pioneernet.net Could it be that a Firefox update is preventing me from access?

Hi, I try to use Firefox for my job and faced with the problem that I can't open state owned website due to sertificate signature error. I ready to take a risk but I can't find the button "Proceed.. (Risky)". This button simply not showing. In th same time in mobile version I saw this button, could take permssions myself and open the website. I tryed to add root and sub sertificates of the Goverment, tryed to add the site address to exclusions -- all these steps don't work. I can't open the site and can't find button "Proceed.. (Risky)". Moreover, in the same time, I can open this website without any questions and problems with Safari and Chrome.

I use the last Firefox version (153.0) from Firefox official website.

How can I resolve this problem in Firefox? Please help me
