Hello, I forgot the password of my firefox account. After I changed the password and entered the account, all my account information is lost. Please help me to get my account information back.

In short every new machine with a fresh install and sync of Firefox will wipe and overwrite to its defaults any synced custom configuration I have. Is there a solution for this?

On my iPad, which I moved from, my old bookmarks still show up in their entirety when I hit "bookmarks" - and everything else seems to be there. Firefox on the iPad is asking me to sign in but I don't want to do that, in case it erases everything there.
