When I attempt to log in to my gmail account, rXXXXXXXXXXXXXt@gmail.com, I instead get logged in to my niece's account, rXXXXXXXXe@gmail.com . I can then open and read her email, etc., and have no desire to, but more importantly cannot open my gmail account. Her account originates out of Fruita, Colorado, no where near Beaverton, Oregon, so I have no idea why my computer would try to log in to her gmail account. It is possible that she used my computer to log in to her gmail account when she was out here visiting this past summer, but your software still should not log in to her account when I ask it to go to my account, [email removed]@gmail.com. In my not very humble opinion, this is a major security breach and weakness in your software besides being a royal pain.

Ai overview is painfully inaccurate and I am hoping to find a way to disable it on my google searches, if that is not possible, what search engine would you recommend?

Can you tell me the key(s) to open the AI Chatbot sidebar under Firefox Labs? (or implement one if you haven't) every time i hit the X to close it (as it takes up a lot of space) there is no easy way (that i can find) to reopen it without clicking through a bunch of stuff. Thanks!

Clicked on a link provided by Windows 11 where Windows was trying to send me to the Microsoft Store. Got this error:

Firefox is installed and and the default browser. Don't have any idea why or what to do. Can someone help?

For the last month or so every time I restart Firefox (macOS 15.1.1) it asks for the master password, which I have saved in a third party password manager. Every time the prompt pops up I use my password and it won't accept it so I have to reset my password. This week I deleted the app from my computer, rebooted, redownloaded Firefox, and reinstalled it without any change in the behavior. Anyone have any ideas?

My bank has recently switched the position of 'online' and 'bank name' in its login URL. How can I delete all history for the old URLs (e.g. Bankname*) without deleting history for all non-bank-related URLs?

The visual and audio notifications for incoming emails being posted to the inbox of gmail under Mozillia Firefox do not function correctly when ran on a Linux Mint operating system computer.

I can get the visual notifications to work as long as the Firefox is open but once that session is closed the visual notifications are no longer issued, i.e. the setting to issue those notifications are not being saved upon closing of the browser.

I can get the audio notifications to work on a sporadic basis. I go into the settings on gmail and choose one of the audio sound notification choices and it works a few times when income emails are received into the inbox, but then just stops even if the current firefox/gmail session is still open.

My theory is that those firefox/gmail settings are not getting preserved/saved in proper manner to be available for subsequent sessions of firefox/gmail because firefox/gmail does not understand the FILE STRUCTURES of Linux Mint Mate so that those settings can be properly preserved for use by subsequent sessions of firefox/gmail.

Please consider fixing this.

I need to change my email address. The old email address is disabled and doesn't work. I have a new email address *email*@gmail.com and can't get a code from the old one which doesn't work anymore. What do I do.

I use a web application that lists items in a table, which provides a link to download the table as a CSV file. It used to work fine in previous versions of Firefox. However, in the current version, while the file save dialog defaults to a filename that ends in .csv and CSV is selected in the "Save as type:" drop-down, the data in the file that Firefox actually saves is in XML rather than CSV format. I don't know in which version of Firefox this behavior changed, as it's been a couple years since I tried to use this feature. Or I suppose it actually could be a new bug. I do know that when I use the same feature in Microsoft Edge, it saves the CSV file in the correct format, so this behavior seems to be peculiar to Firefox, rather than anything wrong with the web application.

clicked on small info page website icon for a snooker club and linked me to Mcafee (allegedly) whereupon lots of alerts about malicious software and viruses invading my laptop. As Defender shows everything clear I assume this is a scam. The link address is shown below as a screenshot of 'new notifications'. I uninstalled Firefox and refreshed everything. I use DuckDuckGo as search engine. Operating System is Windows 10. Any assistance to prevent these -virus alert 'notifications' popping up would be appreciated.

In the past I could attach a computer picture into Hotmail and then drag it into the text body and scale it ie. a Christmas card. Now it will not allow the attached picture to be dragged into the Hotmail text. Why?

I can play movies on DVD and Blu Ray discs on my computer just fine. And, if I host an online meeting using Zoom or Free Conference Calls, participants in the meeting can watch the movie. I do this by playing the movie locally with a media player, and sharing my desktop. However, when I try to watch a movie in an online meeting, participants just see a black window. Do you know the reason?

ALL of my stored Firefox passwords were leaked last week and I've been doing damage control on misc sites that didn't have two-factor. I learned Mozilla sold our data, something they said they wouldn't do. Google said it was a data breach. When did this data breach occur and why weren't we notified? I only store my password in Firefox.

I am getting repeated popups that say Issue or that a Zeus.202 Trojan is detected, or that there is a security problem. If I follow them they lead me to page where I'm asked to renew a McAfee my subscription. I don't have a McAfee subscription but use Malwarebytes. I've run Malwarebytes and it finds no problems What do you suggest Thanks in advance David

today i ended up enabling notifications that appeared to be my hoa's website but was a rogue and fake virus software warning of viruses and wanting to update and renew license to remove them.. i get notifications every few seconds from them and had to diable notifications. i did send a note on the "broken link" tab to you guys..

its annoying and my malware bytes didn't catch either. it uses mozilla based to send the notification, i couldn't find a place to block the site.
