My bookmarks are greyed out and are not working. This happened this morning and i don't know what is causing this problem. We restarted the computer and now some of the links (when you click) just bring you to firefox login. They don't go to the bookmark site.

I opened Firefox this morning and noticed that the "new container tab" option was missing. I checked my settings to see if I had accidentally disabled containers, and the settings option is missing. After a reinstall of firefox the containers feature is still nowhere to be found. Is anyone else experiencing this bug?

I've cleared the WaPo cookies which didn't help. I can get into my account on Safari, but I hate that. I had an extended conversation with WaPo supervisor, and don't want to clear the rest of my cookies if I can help it.
This is a brand new problem. I cleared WaPo cookies twice which didn't help. I can sign in on main page but it throws me out of individual articles in a constant loop.
I'm hoping the next FireFox upgrade will fix this problem. I don't have it with any other news (NYTimes, Boston Globe) outlets.

Had a problem with my Firefox that kept telling me "we're sorry..." So I went to delete it and it gave me an option to "refresh" Firefox. I did that and it created a file "Old Firefox Data". somehow during this process Firefox got deleted. I downloaded a new copy of Firefox. What do I do with "Old Firefox Data"?

A webpage has 210 "boxes" (3 "boxes" across the page x 70 "boxes" down the page).
Each "box" contains a "picture" plus 6 to 9 rows of "data". (see attached) There should be about 1500 rows of data.
To select ALL of the boxes, I drag the cursor from the first row in the first box to last row of the last box.
I then do Copy.
But when I paste the copied data into an Excel or text file, only about 67 rows (from 9 boxes) are pasted.
What am I doing wrong?

Explain how to prevent this problem from occurring. This doesn't happen if I use a Chrome browser for the same pdf. My OS is Linux.

I very rarely reopen my apps because I also very rarely power off my laptop and use sleep mode instead (usually times between actual shutdowns are around a week). So ubuntu snap likes to update apps regardless of app being closed or not. And once in a while I get my firefox instance closed without me doing it, this would be fine if after reopening it all my tabs were in the same place (or at least I could restore them), but they all gone. I can't restore a session, I only have my history and have to reopen all of them manually.
Please don't tell me to use laptop like a normal person or that I can just listen to ubuntu warnings about updates and close software once in a while. The point is that I don't have this issue with other browsers (also using chrome and brave). If one of this counterparts shuts down unexpectedly it always suggests to restore your session on startup. I know firefox has this feature, but it seems to not work in this exact scenario.

I'm working on a web app and need to be able to test it locally. Firefox has no decided to allow only HTTPS when trying to access this specific app. I have tried removing it from history, but it makes no difference. I've restarted Firefox, I've restarted the machine. Nothing seems to work. Typing in "http://localhost<remainder of URL>" does not work, Firefox simply changes my explicit request for HTTP to HTTPS and access to the site fails.
This is not a general setting. I have other web apps I've been working on that are all accessible in Firefox and are being accessed using HTTP rather than HTTPS. It seems that Firefox has selected this specific app. In particular, HTTPS-only mode is obviously not enabled.
How do I get Firefox to accept that when I type in HTTP://... that I actually mean HTTP://... and not HTTPS://...?

All downloads within Firefox 112 are going into the "Downloads" directory even though the "Always ask you where to save files" is checked. I downloaded the 113 Beta and the problem is unchanged. I see on the Community site that various download issues have been reported previously but those descriptions seem different than what I'm experiencing.
Also, Sync doesn't seem to do anything in the 113 Beta either. I tried but after 30 mins there were still none of my bookmarks or add-ons/extensions showing.

Long term issue of losing pinned tabs because I break a tab off the main firefox instance to work on it in a seperate window and then at some stage I close the firefox window that contains the pinned tabs AND AFTER I close the breakout tab and this seems to remember that no pinned tabs ever existed. This behaviour is idiotic and clearly buggy, certainly shouldn't be a feature or normal behaviour.
The pinned tabs feature is advertised as placing permanently some tabs that open for sure at every launch of firefox in a known location to the left - things we use just about everyday (gmail, iCloud, reddit etc), hence their permanence and it seems to be impossible to code something that if NO firefox window is opened then when we launch Firefox we get the default view of our pinned tabs and a fresh page OR default homepage etc.
Seems ridiculous to me. Whats the logic here ? I vote FOR making this a permanent feature.

Hello, I've looked through the help docs for FF sync and Apple Handoff but am not sure which (or both?) of those may be causing this.
With both devices on and FF open, and on the same wifi, there appears an additional FF dock icon that when clicked opens up one tab from the other device.
How can I turn this off?
Super annoying and not useful at all. I have FF sync turned on and it's so easy to grab an open tab from another device via sync.
Thank you all for your time and help!

Firefox strips https and www from URL (default behavior)
i.e. https://www.domain.tld turns into domain.tld
Problem is that it is two different sites, which makes connections to https://www.domain.tld imposible.
Setting browser.urlbar.trimURLS ti false does nor change this behavior.
Please advise
As described in the title, Firefox closes itself when I use command `exit` in tmux terminal despite having any connection
