After testing Webroot it revealed loss of local PC controls and it appeared to be a cloud minded herd mentality app.. (I used Kaspersky for many year with undesirable stuff disabled.. great app until Putin stepped in)...

Firefox ran great with all performance tweaks applied to date and removal of anything Google (banned from some countries due to information preditation). 0 Trust here. Google does not exist on this machine as has been ripped from the registry and file syste. - FYI

Uninstall did not work! Had to boot on a CD and access thefile system and manually delete files to remove the webroot bat from my OS..

I need assistance on removing the nasty policy from FireFox "Your browser is being managed by your organization."

I removed all found in the registry, file system and FireFox "About:Config" without any success.

My Fox is highly customized as a result of many years of "No, I don't want these things happening -or- I do not want mybrowser accessing and communications with ..."

Please advise on any steps that may exist before I either do a fresh install -or- switch to anothe browser.

Firefox has no phone number or email system for technical support (or any type of support) just this hit and miss system of 'forums' (or is that fora). I tried to send a bug report but I am NOT signing up for another (geek speak) account just to send you the problem. Please fix this issue - it never used to happen on older versions - how can I roll back my firefox to something that works properly?? Some, but not all, videos on Twitter and tumblr don't function. On tumblr, the audio usually plays but the video is blank. On Twitter, the videos are always stuck loading. Thumbnails always load, there is no way for me to know if a video will work or not without trying to play it.

They work when I use a different browser, and Youtube is fully functional, so it can't be an issue with my laptop. The other person in the house who uses Firefox is able to play the same videos without issue.

I've searched for solutions and exhausted the possibilities in dozens of articles and support sites saying the same things over and over again. I'm at my wit's end.

I've tried: -disabling hardware acceleration -audio and video permissions -clearing cache and cookies -disabling enhanced tracking protection -switching off adblocker -running it in troubleshooting mode -refreshing Firefox

None of these did anything. Can anybody give me even a scrap of an idea as to what I can do?

At some moment I´ve got a pretty big sessionstore file (6,6 Mb) which does not load properly. I´ve tried a few of FF versions and settings. My current version 103.0.1 64 bit loads it for few minutes and crashes when tabs appear. Some older versions loads it but after that have various problems with program interface: new tabs sometimes won´t open, no float tips when I´m hove cursor over tab header and so on. Also in such cases browser often crashes and not update old sessionstore file. I have 16 Gb of RAM, FF takes up to 5,5 Gb before tabs appear for moment and FF crashes. I have such big sessionstore file earlier (for example, 24.07.22 it has size of 6,5 Mb), but all worked fine. Maybe there are any internal setting that I have to try?

I have been using Firefox now for 8 years with out a problem but now I have one. I have Norton's antivirus and the last 7 scans I have done Norton's had found and quarantined the Trojan Horse virus found in the Firefox program. I have uninstalled Firefox and re installed with a fresh re-load but after 1 day the virus was back in the Firefox program. I really want to use Firefox and am respectfully requesting someone help me re install the program please. I have attached a screen shot for you. Thank you in advance. Bernie. Everytime I try to do a search in Firefox I get a Manuals Library page come up. Why is it doing this? I did a search not long ago for a user's manual for a product, and I guess I accidentally downloaded this Manuals Library. Now I have no idea how to get rid of it. There is no shortcut on my desktop for it, I cannot find it anywhere in my downloaded programs in Uninstall or Change a Program in my Control Box. I DO NOT want this program! Help please!! Noticing that on Windows 11 with Firefox 103, bookmarking a page no longer asks you where you want to put it ; it just throws it in the last folder into which you bookmarked something else. This is Windows 11 with all the latest updates as of 7-31-22. Now I tried Firefox 103 on Windows 7 sp1 and had no problems whatsoever assigning a specific folder for bookmarks, so this leads me to believe that something in Firefox 103 is not jiving correctly with the latest updates in Windows 11, or just Windows 11 itself in general. Thanks, and hope you can reproduce the issue and maybe even fix it ! Max

Firefox will not displace the home page of a Facebook group which I belong to. I can get there through my phone app, so the group seems to be functioning. I can access the group on an old I.E. browser, so it seems to be a browser problem. I can get to my other groups, just not this one. I get a FB message that there is technical trouble when I try to access that group. This has gone on for over 24 hours. My Firefox is up to date.

My Lenova Think Pad has Windows 7 Prof (configured as XP) on it, and Firefox and Thunderbird. I use it mostly for email, to play simple computer games, such as solitaire and word search, and now and then to look up an address or website. I do not know anymore about computers. Everytime I got an update, something would change and I would have to go and find someone, and PAY them to tell me what happened, and fix it, and put it back the way it was. For a very long time now I have not downloaded any updates, and just press the dismiss, or not now button.

Why do you need to change things the whole time, when it is all running fine. I am now too scared to download anything in case it alters something from the way I am used to. I do not use facebook or twitter or any of those things people are always talking about. I just use it for email, to keep in touch with others, since I cannot hear on a phone.

I am a technologically challenged octogenarian, who did not have a chance to finnish school in the 50's. Will I eventually not be able to use my computer? Or will you keep it running?

Let me first state that Firefox is the only browser I like to use. I hate IE, Chrome and most others. I use 64 bit version of Firefox and it is updated daily. The problem started when I joined a league for EXPN Fantasy Football using Firefox on my phone, which works fine. But it is a small screen and I would prefer to use my computer for many of the functions involved in Fantasy Football.

Problem is when I try to access ESPN's Fantasy Football using my computer I get an error message saying

You do not have permission to view this page. Go to the Fantasy Football Homepage. The Fantasy Football homepage loads just fine it's only when I try to access the league & my team info that I get this message? I called ESPN since it worked on my phone through Firefox and they say, of course, that it's a browser issue and there was nothing they could do. The young man I spoke to did try several things to make it work but it always failed. So here I am! Please help me! I really don't want to have to have IE 11 running on my computer! I haven't allowed a Microsoft browser on my computer in 15+ years! And Google should be charged with treason against the USA (in my honest opinion!) I won't allow Chrome on my computer either! Please help me get this working so I can enjoy Fantasy Football this year! Last year I was in a Yahoo league and had no problems. I rarely run across problems using Firefox, lets not start now? HELP!

Hello, Since I wasn't able to open firefox - I downloaded FireFos again. It said you previously downloaded and would you like to update, I clicked yes Unfortunately it didn't save all of my website tabs

How would I be able to get back all of the website tabs?

I still have the old shortcut on desktop and I have a new shortcut, the old still won't work.

Just hoping I can restore the previous firefox browser so I can get my tabs. I have been using firefox for many years The current updated browser is working bur unfortunately it didn't include my previous info. Thanks John Griffith

Hello Lovely Firefox Volunteers,

I hope this email finds you well. I am a long-time user and fan of Firefox, and other open source projects. Firefox is a fantastic internet browser!

Having said that, I was shocked and dismayed at what I encountered today. I was doing some tests for screen-reader usability on a website, and I came across the following:

Image 1 (attached): Advertisement of Screen-Reader Add-Ons for Firefox

Image 2 (attached): No Screen-Reader Add-Ons for Firefox are Available

The Firefox team is advertising screen-reader add-ons for Firefox, which don't seem to exist. I don't think the recommendation here should be: take down the advertisement for the Firefox native screen-reader add-ons/link to them, these seem to be really important for accessibility, and the Firefox team seems to acknowledge this. :)

There is some other missing piece - maybe there are Screen-reader add-ons for Firefox, and they aren't being linked to? Maybe the wrong tag is being used? (The auto tag that is used in the link is "screen reader"). Maybe there aren't any, and this is an area that needs some additional attention?

Anyway, I just thought I should bring this to your attention as making our internet accessible to people living with blindness and loss of sight is extremely important.

I did a clean install of Windows 7 on a new SSD drive. I transferred all the Mozilla/Firefox files (ver. 103) to new Windows 7 install. Appdata\Local, Appdata\Roaming, Application Data including profiles,chrome CSS. New Firefox has larger/wider tabs and the collapsible sidebar does not work, why?
