Hello,

I'm not sure when it started, maybe a week ago. When I open firefox, I'm logged out of "most" of my accounts sometimes. I'll log back in and it will last a few browser closing and reopenings. Some websites seem to log out quicker, or it's possibly just random.

I've been using Firefox for a very long time and I've never had an issue like this. It's frustrating because I have to go through 2-factor each time a website logs me out. And so far, it hasn't happened to Discord in browser. It affects Gmail, Hotmail, Twitter, Facebook, and Reddit.

I did not change any settings recently until after it started happening (I set "Enhanced Tracking Protection" to standard thinking it would help but it hasn't).

Thank you.

Hello. I am having the same issue as another user, but they flagged their question as solved so I'm making a new one just in case.

I can't login properly to YouTube, only in Firefox, even after clearing cache and cookies and disabling add-ons/running safe mode. I can login to my Google account, view my playlists and recommended videos (although the main page with recommendations only shows 5 lines of videos and when scrolling further is not loading). I can't make any edits, for example add videos to the "Watch Later" playlist, that require a login. When I click login, Google shows the 405 error "The request method GET is inappropriate for the URL /youtubei/v1/browse/edit_playlist. That’s all we know." or with other URL, depending on the action taken.

What can I do? Thank you.

I do web design. And my problem is that I used to click the refresh button in firefox and it would instantly load an updated version of the pages I was working on. But now it does the exact same thing I hate about chrome. It loads pages using cached css and javascript files. And the only way to view the updated websites is to go private mode which is very annoying. Is there an option to get around this? Or it's a software problem?

Using v.80.0.1 (according to FF/Help/About) on Win10-64bit. Cannot log into godaddy.com. Error message is "Yikes! Something went wrong. Please, try again later." Works fine with Chrome, so have to believe it's in FF. Tried changing various settings in Options/Privacy& Security. Anyone else having issues, or better yet, a solution??

Thanks in advance.

This happens when along with the search result google website deploys what it calls "Knowledge panel's". These are boxes of information related to what was asked in the search box, and appear not all the time but at certain (more common/famous) topics and persons. when that happens, despite the fact that I have the browser at full screen open, the wide screen monitor appears too small to the google website, which is unusual.

This manifests itself in the form of a horizontal bar at the bottom of Firefox browser's tab that I'm supposed to slide in order to see the edges on the right side. This never happened in dozens of years of use of this browser. It started happening in recent weeks. I initially thought it would go away but it hasn't. Even tho by now I have gone out of my way to open a new profile. This problem persists even when I have all addons disabled. Concurrently when I open other browsers google.com shows no horizontal bars.

I am aware that this problem can be mitigated if I reduce the Firfox's zoom down to 90%. However I don't consider this a solution on a small laptop (1366 X 676).

I am positive about Firefox is the most secure browser and have evidence of it. Nevertheless the following site could traspass the Firefox barriers: https://www.eldestapeweb.com/ I am concerned on the survival of Free World and consecuently of Free Software. I guess the above mentioned site belongs to a parapolitical official organization. I consider that for it's job obtained tech help from some powerful international group. The average user of Firefox is unprevented of this issue. I am not asking for help in my behalf, because I have the necesary time to help myself. I suggest the Mozilla guys to investigate the facts. When I try to get to Gmail and Facebook, I always have to log in, even though "Save this Browser" is always selected. This causes a problem as I have to have my phone with me for two-step log-ins. This problem started about a month ago, and inquiries to Gmail and Facebook have all gone unanswered. When I do log in, I get a message "We noticed an unusual login from a device or location you don't usually use. Was this you?" This isn't a device I don't normally use, it is one I use most of the time. I don't understand why this is happening and what I can do about it.

I would like to thank everyone who tried to help me with my problem of not being able to sign in to certain websites. I finally (through trial an error) found the problem to my situation. I had downloaded an app called "Privacy Badger". It would let me sign in to some of my sites. I simply went to my puzzle piece at the top right of the screen. I started checking my apps, one at a time. Privacy Badger was the culprit. I simply turned it off. Everything is working fine.

I have recently updated to version 81.0.2 of Firefox, and have noticed that for some reason, twitter will randomly sign me out for no reason even if I don't sign out of the site when I close the tab, forcing me to sign back in every so often. Curiously, something similar happens with gmail, as it will make me sign in both of my email accounts, even though normally when I bring up the gmail website it usually just asks which account I wish to sign in to. I have not cleared my cookies in the last few days, nor my cache, so this shouldn't be happening. What exactly is happening here? I didn't have this problem in the previous version of Firefox. Can anyone help?

How do I fix this or is it the bank's security certificate not keeping up? If I use the Edge browser, I can log in, just not on Firefox. I have no problem with any other website.

Tiktok and YouTube bypass my Firefox autoplay settings. By default, I set Firefox to disable autoplay of audio and video. I seldom use the website, but when I do, it blasts music at me the moment I visit the site. As a headphone user, that's really annoying!

To a lesser degree, YouTube does as well. If I'm not subscribed to a channel, it will autoplay the channel's featured video on the Home tab. Example: https://www.youtube.com/user/carolinaeyckvideos
