Hello there,

I’m experiencing high memory and CPU usage in Firefox, which is affecting my computer’s performance. One issue appears to be that “FirefoxCP Isolated Web Content” continues running even when tabs are inactive, contributing to increased resource usage.

Other browsers, such as Microsoft Edge, reduce memory and energy consumption by putting inactive tabs into sleep mode after a period of inactivity. I would prefer to continue using Firefox as my default browser, but I need a way to manage this level of resource usage.

Could you please advise whether Firefox offers a comparable setting, workaround, or planned improvement to reduce CPU and memory usage from inactive tabs?

This is a recent problem but when I try to open new tabs they don't load or take a very long time to load. I wind up shutting down my computer and resarting but sometimes that doesn't help. it seems to be getting worse. I do not use any other VPN but yours and Duckduckgo to search. I use a macbook air. Any suggestions? Thanks

When a link from outside Firefox opens the desktop browser, it displays the default home page but does not continue on to the URL specified in the link. This is new for me in V 152.0.6 (aarch64) . Mac OS 26.5.2 (25F84)

unable to load X.com. Shows Firefox Enhanced Tracking as "strict". in FireFox settings, it show i'm at "standard, not Strict". Have refreshed tabs as instructed. No change. Still cant load X.com.

When checking out the new features the ' Learn More' link under Tab Groups directs to the article explaining Pinned Tabs, there is no way to get to the explanation about Tab Groups

I am having trouble getting yahoo.com to appear on Firefox. It worked perfectly for many years but on my current Firefox browser, www.yahoo.com does not work. The page will appear for seconds and disappear. How can this be fixed? Do I need to download a newer version of Firefox?

I'm trying to find a solution for having all tabs open across devices. Currently, my desktop has about 50 open tabs that I access regularly. Today, I installed Firefox on my laptop, signed in and initiated syncing. All bookmarks came over, everything looks great, except that none of my open tabs from the desktop browser show on my laptop.

I would like to have identical tabs open across devices. Is there a way to configure this where a new computer being logged in automatically receives all open tabs from the initial device and then tabs automatically sync based on whatever is opened/closed on either device after the initial tabs are identically synced?

Firefox drop down history shows about 85% favicon substitution for gmail entries. It is not the gmail favicon, it is a food blog I do not login to and only very occasionally read. It is a very random substitution.

Clearing cache, cookies and restarting did not eliminate the issue. All apps and browsers are fully up to date.

I only use Firefox so do not know if it happens on others. Also, it does not happen all the time, only about 85% of the time, sometimes within one session, as visible in the attached screenshot. The bottom 9 are gmail's and you can see it has chosen to substitute the gmail favicon for an unrelated food blog favicon, but the there are several gmail entries that display the correct google favicon.

It isn't a problem but it does make me feel less secure as it is a weird glitch. If there is crossover there, where else may there be identification failures? Is there any way to correct this? Thank you.

Firefox completely changed overnight without notice and I have lost all my bookmarks and can't find out how to access TV channels that were easily available previously on my desktop. Trying to make sense of changes but struggling. Nothing that used to work for me is still available. I don't even recognise it. Might have to give up Firefox.

Why I can select a custom page for when a new window opens but NOT when I open a new tab? I am tired of using your search bar because it is defaulting to the country I am in rather than only giving me results using Google USA. This is causing the results to be in a language I am not interested in using. I do not want results using the local Google, I ONLY want results from Google USA regardless of where I am at in the world. Please allow us to select a custom url for the search bar as well as a set url for every time we open a tab (not just a window).
