Cursor jumps to toolbar address window instead of staying on the Firefox home page search bar. I prefer to use the search bar, without seeing all the urls show up in a list that changes as I type. This change occurred just a few days ago, apparently when Firefox updated. I have selected Google as the preferred search engine. (there are many other unwanted changes, but this one is the most challenging to deal with)

Hi, In Mac OS, in Firefox's latest update 89.0, when I enter to full screen mode, address and tab bar (Tool bar) get lost, and they only visible when you hover the mouse on the upper side of the application. How can I disable the feature and be able to see the toolbar in full screen mode?

Similar question's answer answer, says that when we right click on Minimize button we can unselect Hide Toolbars. But there is no such option for me, I can only find setting for bookmarks bar.

Some websites have this text box under their articles to write a comment and post it on Facebook (see the screenshot). But for that to happen, first you must login to your Facebook account. The problem is that when I click the button "login to post", nothing happens - as if I didn't click it at all. I suspect the reason for that are the integrated anti-tracking options in Firefox 89. So the question is: how do I get this plugin to work in Firefox 89?

P.S. Until a month ago I was temporarily using Chromium as default browser and there the FB plugin had no issues. Chromium has no anti-tracking options which is why I think this function in Firefox is the reason for the FB plugin not to work.

Here's the problem: when I try to play a Youtube or other video in Firefox, the sound cuts out after 1 second. Then silence.

I have tried everything. I updated drivers. I tried fixing sound in the sound settings. Nothing works.

This seems only to be a problem with the HDMI output, as it seems fine when I use Bluetooth. However, it is only a problem with Firefox, because it works fine in Chrome and Edge.

Today I tried to log in to my HSBC account from Firefox 89.0.1, which I have been doing from Firefox for several years. The HSBC home page displays as normal, but when I press the Log on button I get the following message

Bad Request

Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. Size of a request header field exceeds server limit.

I have rung HSBC, who say there is no problem at their end and I should try another browser, and the website works perfectly on Google Chrome. Why should this have happened, what changes have Mozilla made to the browser to cause this problem?

I already have to use Chrome to access my M&S Money account due to incompatibility between that website and Firefox. Should I change my default browser to avoid future problems?

I'm running Windows 10 and have experienced multiple, repeated stopcode violations resulting in the blue screen and reboot (or sometimes requiring hard shutdown and reboot). I've kept close records of programs and peripherals, and the only constant I can find is Firefox. Typically I see it with I'm exploring something in Firefox (ironically it just occurred while typing this). I've taken the computer to the shop a couple of times, and they've stressed it over multiple days and can't duplicate it. I wonder about the interaction of internet fluctuations and Firefox. I'm wondering if my motherboard is failing, though it's fairly new. Any help I can get on this would be very welcome! Thank you!

Hello Firefox People, Thank you for fixing the firefox color theme maker, it was working fine yesterday and the day before. I have made several themes, but am still learning how it works. Two of my unposted themes need some help. The larger personalized buttons on the opening page, the new tab page, are black instead of white. It ruins the whole theme. how do you change the Buttons (like Firefox Color, GMail, Weather, etc) from black to white. I don't see anything listed in the Color program that looks like those can be changed.

I was also wondering, is it possible for the team that makes it to make it a stand-alone program like they made in the 90's, so we could fix everything offline first, with a browser standalone that will preview the themes first before posting them. It takes a long time to make them sometimes, and it would be nice also, to let people who are working have the internet. Just a thought. Thanks for working out all the kinks in it. I love doing graphics arts! Below, please find "Sunflower" theme with the problem. Have a good day.  :-)

PS I have updated Firefox 89, on Windows 7 SP1

I cannot add a Zoom meeting to an Outlook meeting using my Outlook Web app. The Zoom add-in is installed and the button appears in the Web app. When I click it, I get the message "Zoom is working on your Add a Zoom Meeting request." But it just hangs there.

The Zoom add-in works using my Outlook Desktop client on the Mac and using Outlook Web in Chrome. Firefox seems to be the issue. Any idea what I can try to fix this?

I've been using Firefox for quite a few years . . . after these past couple of updates my PC is running so slow it is almost to the point of becoming unusable.

How do I check which programs are running at 'startup' and which programs are running in 'background'?

I can't say that it is Firefox causing this problem but I'd sure like to fix it.

Something is up that won't allow me to 'search' from the lower task bar

Thanks

Mike
