The title is pretty much self explanatory. Whenever I reboot my computer (Ubuntu 16.04), firefox loses ALL of its data. Any persistent cookies are removed, any customizations I make to the title bar are removed, my extensions are gone, and I have to sign into sync again. It's like a completely fresh installation.

Thanks for your help!

My eyes get sore and I get epilectic symptoms from white background. I'm not only one on this and most of people don't even know they have the same problem. I can manage 6 hours staring white but after that I will get serious twitches and heart feelings when trying to fall in sleep. I use no drugs or alcohol. I tried find such a addon last time about 2 years ago with no success. I guess it is very difficult task...because dynamic nature of web pages. Is there any addon that is capable to switch text background color to light grey on ALL occasions?

I can not make sense out of why FIrefox is crashing. It seems random. Sometimes it happens in safe mode (immediate crash - FF will not open). The crashes happen daily. What seems to fix the issue temporarily is to refresh. OS = Ubuntu 16.04.01 64bit FF = 51.0b9 Here are the steps I have taken: I installed the newest version. This seemed to be the answer for several days. Then the crashing started again. Tried safe mode. Sometimes work, sometimes does not. Refreshed - again, temporary. What do I need to do as a user to get help with this issue? What information can I share? Here are crash reports for the last week: bp-4f8a418e-02df-4e5c-bf6f-ad8bf2161221 bp-b4049ff0-cfe1-44e0-8043-8d2352161221 bp-bfa874f2-2c38-4c88-a5ad-a42162161221 bp-6a116e41-a992-4991-8ba9-77cda2161221 bp-1e27bc84-b5ce-4905-80e0-6057f2161221 bp-ec5e854b-d157-4fe6-a305-131d92161221 bp-9798e30b-e118-45e4-a116-b05af2161221 bp-074c37e9-cfe4-4019-af5d-bacfb2161220 bp-f602efea-5117-4172-b5d9-995842161220 bp-917e1df5-f260-4989-8fc1-a8db32161219 bp-917e1df5-f260-4989-8fc1-a8db32161219 bp-17cf032c-bfd0-44d7-a4bb-3e9dd2161218 bp-7ccfce82-b508-44db-bdd7-f8b7a2161218 bp-e46baed3-432b-4cc0-a972-de6b52161218 bp-8b23dc44-6bf8-4457-bbe1-f1afd2161218 bp-ab89670b-587c-414c-8cad-0bb4d2161218 bp-a2f0a2d7-0d99-40af-a9b3-2e87f2161218

When I am on Facebook it is sluggish and freezes sometimes to the point where I have to kill the browser in task manager. it seems to be only on Facebook and only on one account. My personal account stalls and freezes up, yet my daughters on the exact same PC using Firefox doesn't. I have tried several on line trouble shooting links and nothing helps. Facebook works fine in internet explorer/edge, Chrome, and etc., but it is a pain to have to jump from one browser to the other. This issue just started about one week ago.

Part of this page - http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/public/weather/forecast/gcwcrzchw - never finishes loading after updating to Firefox 50.1.0. A clean install of the portable version works OK, as does a restore of a backed up v42.x. Updating to the latest beta version doesn't work. Restarting Firefox 50.1.0 or 51.0beta11 (after updating) in safe mode doesn't work. (32 bit versions in all instances, Win 10 Pro) Is there anything I can try to get this page working without a fresh install? It doesn't appear to be an extension problem, so I would prefer not to have to reinstall them all

I was on Mozilla plug-in page that said I was using an older version and to update. I normally update from a different area where I click on a question mark and it takes me right to the update box that said it was up to date, My Avast program said the same thing for up-to-date software. But I updated it anyway and it wasn't until it installed that it said 51.0 (32-bit). Now my updates, that I remember, never said what *bit* it was before. I have a 64-bit operating system (Windows 8.1). Have all the updates been 32 bits? Because I read where 32 bits do not hold enough ram. I don't want things to slow down, especially movies I watch. I couldn't find the last version I had to go back to it since I'm worried I may have installed the wrong thing. Though I read on a Mozilla support page that Only Flash plug-ins and Silverlight plug-ins work with 64-bit. If that's the case then maybe all my installs have been 32 bits since I have Flash, Adobe Reader, Java and a few other plug-ins that work with certain systems installed in my computer and so far all those plug-ins work. So I'm just a little confused. I did go to the What's New section where I update and was able to click on a list for all Firefox releases but they only have the recent version that I just downloaded, not the last one I had in case I need to go back to it. If that's the case I need also to find out how to go back to that latest version. I'll be going to work soon and see what happens there to see what our computers update too. Thanks to anyone that can clear this up for me.
