I set Flash plugin to "ask to activate", every time I visit a page containing flash element, firefox will prompt whether to allow xxxx to run Adobe Flash. That is very annoying, becaus Flash content is very common on the web and I just want to allow Flash plugin on certain sites.

Before firefox 26, there is no such a prompt, if I want to activate Flash on certain page, I just click the plugin icon in the url bar and choose "Allow Now" or "Allow and Remember".

So, how can I disable "Allow xxx to run xxx plugin" prompt to make firefox behave just like before?

Раньше это лечилось: about:config -> browser.download.useToolkitUI ->Переключить. Теперь же что-то сломалось и ни true, ни false не возвращают старое окошко. А к новому привыкнуть совсем никак не могу, как красная тряпка для быка... Отказываться от новой версии в пользу старой тоже бы не хотелось. Как вернуть? Заранее спасибо.

Help, like Mozilla but haven't used it much because it STILL (over 3 versions , beta and such) CRASHES adobe flash! I know from browsing web that it seems to be very common. Tried ALL suggestion on web sites to no avail. Can't waste anymore time working on browser problems though IE has issues too. But Mozilla can't seem to get it together with Adobe Flash! Just keeps crashing and crashing. Can't you guys come up with a fix? I've been waiting for over a year now.

Also your latest version of Mozilla doesn't work with roboform either perhaps because it's still beta?! (I've disconnected your password reminder but it still doesn't work)

suppose I have a 27 Beta. If Mozilla fixed something in RTM do I will get the fixes when 28 Beta released.

Better explain :-

Suppose I use Firefox Nightly 29. I got some bugs that is later fixed When 29 Aurora happen. Now I am on 30 nightly. Is that means the bugs is fixed later so It will not be fixed for me.

What I means if something have fixed in RTM, Do Nightly, Aurora, Beta will got the fixes or this will never got the bugs fixed because it's newer build.

Can someone please explain this thing to me. I am confused. I am unsure that Nightly never got fixes that is fixes in Aurora or Beta.

Someone explain me also that how you integrate the changes in all these 3 builds.

I installed 27.0 from 26.0. Basically i updated it through the setup. When i saw the list of installed programs in my Control Panel , there were two instances of the 'Mozilla Firefox installed'. One was the firefox 26.0 and the other 27.0. What does that mean? When i try uninstalling the older one the newer one too gets uninstalled.

Before when I right clicked to open a link in a new tab, it would open it but keep me on my current tab. Now it just goes to the new tab every time. This only happens on one of my PCs, even though they're both on the same version.

In addition to the question above, I've never had a problem with previous versions of FF locking up, but now it locks up a lot. I believe this is a beta? I have FF 26 .exe still in a folder. Should I just go back to that version and will these problems clear up? thanks.

When I click the bookmarks button (*v) by the address bar I find several hundred bookmarks in random order with no may to search or sort. I have to scroll through them all with the mouse on the up or down caret at the top or bottom of the list...very awkward.

When I use the Firefox tab ... Bookmarks ... Unsorted Bookmarks, then there are only 75 bookmarks. Very nice. I can sort and search but the bookmarks aren't all there.

I seem to have 2 different sets of bookmarks. What's going on?

When I try to sign or log on to pintrest I get an error that something went wrong and tells me to sign on in another browser. I want to be able to sign on on Firefox.

I thought mozilla firefox was superior for a long time until today. It may still be the best browser but this website is unacceptable. I mean how do you expect people to find the support forums. The is no link, no nothing on the mozilla support home page. I mean all I wanted to do was go and find my question in the support forums, sure I can go to my profile and find my question from there, but i should be able to navigate to the forums and my question without having to go through the idiotic process you people have laid forth. Unless you guys can provide a reasonable explanation for your thinking then you really need to make a link to the support forums on at least the SUPPORT HOME PAGE. I mean for real it is the SUPPORT HOME PAGE after all, i cannot stress that enough.

Now I have tried setting the script max run time for a longer duration. I have checked to see if it was any Add-ons and it isn't. I have updated the driver for my graphics card on my Surface Pro 2 and that didn't solve the problem. I have downloaded Yesscript and that didn't do anything but break youtube leaving me to uninstall firefox and reinstall it again. I have tried using the Beta firefox to see if it was and that hasn't worked either. I have done everything in all the articles that you can find which talk about fixing the unresponsive script issue in firefox and NOTHING HAS WORKED! I would have switched back to chrome but seeing as it looks and performs terribly on the surface pro 2 because Google could care less about updating it for the tablet/PC because its from Microsoft, I guess I'm stuck with this or just braving the cold of using Internet Explorer without Add-ons. I believe that Flash Player is the main culprit for this issue but I don't know how to fix it.

Please if you have had this issue and have a fix for it PLEASE reply because you are my last hope. For some reason on both my work Mac and home Mac I am unable to shrink my browser window past 420 - 425px wide. Both computers are using mavricks. It does not matter the website. I disabled all addons and toolbars. Updated me version. But have had no luck. Even if I try and resize viewport with developer tools the window will not shrink past 425px

I would like to know whether Mozillz firefox 27 or previous non beta version is as secured as Dell Kace’s freeware Secure Browser which is version of Firefox. I would like to use this for my Online Banking transactions.

Every time I open the Mozilla FF browser the following tabs appear: Mozilla Welcome, the Default Mozilla screen, AVG Secure Search and Coupon Bar. I also get a prompt to enter my Pocket username and Password. Before I updated FF, I would not get all those tabs upon start up and I would already be logged into Pocket. I haven't changed anything in my settings, so I don't know why it's like this all of a sudden.

I am using the Beta version of Firefox (27) but I have seen the same behavior in recent released levels. I enter a search at www.google.com , such as rc heating and cooling nj I then get a page of results. I click on any result (first one is fine, though an Add, any of them work the same way). I see their page. When I hit the Back arrow to get back to the page of results and try another link, it flashes some google redirect URL on the address bar, and then goes right back to the same page I was on. It always brings me back to the same page I was on. If I click on the Back Arrow button with the right mouse button I see three links in the history for that tab, and I can chose the bottom one to go back to the Google search page: 1) Bergen County Heating & Air Conditioning ... (www.dbheatingandcooling.com/?gclid=CNft9ZLC57sCFel9OgodkWUAqQ ) 2) http://www.google.com/aclk?sa=l&ai=CES...&adurl=www.dbheatingandcooling.com 3) rc heating and cooling nj - Google Search ( https://www.google.com/search?q=rc+heating+and+cooling+nj&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-beta&channel=sb ) When on 1) back arrow causes 2) to flash and I go back to 1), always. I can use the right button to drop down the entire list and if I click on 3) then it takes me back to the search results page. Clicking on 2) also takes me back to #1) , BTW. The Google redirect (#2) is sometimes http://www.google.com/url?sa=... instead of aclk?sa=... depending on which link I click, but it is the same behavior. This does not happen in Internet Explorer (IE 8). I see the redirection URL also flashing by in IE, but the back button works and takes me back to the search results page.
