Remove Extensions button from a toolbar
Unlike other buttons, extensions (add-on manager) button can not be removed from a toolbar while I customize it. Is there any way to remove it?

I will be to-the-point: Firefox 109.0 has forced the "extensions" icon (a puzzle piece) on my Bookmarks toolbar.
(1) I do not wish for it to appear there (2) I am not given the possibility to remove it from the "Customise toolbar" screen
Please assist.
I would like to be able to remove this from my toolbar but cannot which is inconsistent to how customizing the toolbar normally functions.

Firefox applied an update and now there is a puzzle piece icon on my toolbar for extensions at the top right. I have tried to edit my toolbar but that icon can't be moved, removed, or hidden and it's where my bookmarks icon usually is which is messing with my work flow a lot. I work very fast and have years of muscle memory of clicking the first icon at the top right to open bookmarks and now I keep opening extensions.
Is there a way to remove the Extensions Icon from the tool bar?
I'm currently on version 107.0a1 of Firefox Nightly.

My extensions take up a lot of space in my toolbar and I'd love to hide all of them. However - every 'solution' to the problem tells me to right click the extension straight from the toolbar and click 'Hide from Toolbar'.
I do remember this option existing, however I couldn't find it since last update and I'm assuming it was removed. Is there any way to use it again?
^ (Small note, It would also be lovely if I could add them to the Extensions add-on in the toolbar, as that would really be a better use for it other than overflow)

Having checked with the Financial Times technical support, it seems that Firefox is blocking hyperlinks on my FT digital pages. This is something that started only a few months ago. Is there a setting in Firefox that I can use to cancel this unblocking; or do I need to do something else? The FT technical support suggest I switch to Chrome as a browser. I would rather stick with Firefox, but this problem is particularly irritating. Best regards, Ian

I updated the windows 10 installation on my Toshiba satellite laptop yesterday, 07-31-2022 and when i opened Firefox after that, it was huge - I have to dial it down to about 70% on the zoom to have it display even somewhat normally. I don't find any current answers when I google the question, so I'm asking here as I don't know what else to try. I've attached a screenshot to show how large it is, even at 67% zoom.
thanks!

Frequently when I update Firefox something stops working the way I want it to. So after the last update I disabled updates. That was a while ago (version 89) and my browser was getting pretty stale. So I backed everything up, reenabled updates, and now I have version 104.
And, of course, something is broken now. The context menus when I right click are not functioning as before. The userChrome.css is still there in the chrome folder in my profile and has the same contents. The option toolkit.legacyUserProfileCustomizations.stylesheets is set to true. But it doesn't work anymore. I added a line to change the color of the tab toolbar and that worked. So userChrome.css is being read and acted upon. But the other command (I whittled it down to just one additional command for testing) is ignored.
Here is what my userChrome.css looks like right now:
@namespace url("http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul");
But the "Open Link in New Tab" still appears in the context menu when I right click a link. It didn't do this before the upgrade to 104. Did something break in between version 89 and 104 or is it some other oddity?
Any ideas?

I want to test a group of sites to see if they accept TLS 1.0 connections.
Many sources including https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1101896 say that you can force Firefox to send TLS 1.0 requests by setting security.tls.version.max to 1, and I have done this successfully in the past to test if a site supported TLS 1.0. (Sometimes a site allows access over TLS 1.0 but disables certain features such as submitting credit card numbers.)
However, I am now getting inconsistent results when trying to do this. I set security.tls.version.max to 1 and restart the browser. Then I go to https://www.google.com/, click the padlock and navigate to more information, and it says "Connected encrypted (TLS_AES_128_GCM_SHA256, 128 bit keys, TLS 1.3)". Note, TLS 1.3. But I could swear the first time I loaded https://www.google.com/ the same dialog box said the connection was using TLS 1.0.
Meanwhile other sites like https://wikipedia.org/ and https://twitter.com/ fail to load with SSL_ERROR_PROTOCOL_VERSION_ALERT. I understand why (they don't support TLS 1.0), but I don't understand why the connection to Google is showing TLS 1.3 in the same browser window.
Is there some mechanism by which a site that initially accepts the TLS 1.0 connection, is then forcing Firefox to switch to 1.3, overriding the security.tls.version.max setting? That doesn't make sense but it's the only thing that seems consistent with observation.
Thanks!

My Firefox has been infected with MyNewTab. All attempts to remove it with various malware-removing software have failed. It does not appear in any list of installed software. I have found that I can only stop it from interferring with firefox by uninstalling firefox and reinstalling it - without syncing. So I am now trying to reinstatre Firefox to more or less how it was before.
The only real issue is that before it had an add-on - Norton Safe Web - which is not added now. I tried uninstalling Norton 360 and reinstalling it in the hope it would get the addon added. It didn't. But according to what I read it is very easy to add an add-on. I can select it from the list of add-ons, thus displaying a page all about it. According to help notes, you just click to add-on this choicre. But I can see nowhere to click to do it. I've been over that page time after time but see no way of progressing.
Help!!!

I am using a Windows computer. Is there a way to change the two finger swipe to go back (or forward) a webpage to a "THREE" finger swipe? Two finger swipes interfere with other things that I may be trying to do on a webpage. I often find myself scrolling through tables (using two finger scrolling) and then if I scroll too far in one direction it goes BACK to the last webpage I was on. This is super frustrating!
I know how to disable the two finger swipe using about:config. However, if it can be changed to a 3 finger swipe instead, that would be a huge help.

So I just updated to version 106.0.1, and I noticed something new in the far right corner of the screen, an arrow with a dropdown function listed as view all tabs. I have no need for this and tried to use the customize toolbar option to remove it. It did not work. How do I get rid of this thing? It's just kinda taking up space on the screen as I doubt I'm ever gonna use it.
Any tips here?
