Suddenly my ISP is HACKING into my browsers to give me "notifications" without my permission (see image), ignoring Firefox settings and UBlock Origin add-on. They appear above whatever website I'm loading. The company has my email address if they need to notifiy me of anything, so this just seems like a giant middle finger - a way to remind me of their absolute control over my computer. It's totally creepy. Is there any way to block them?

Foxnews.com causes Firefox 102.0.1 to freeze when scrolling pages with lots of images. Closing and restarting FF does not help. The freeze reoccurs. What does help for awhile is to delete the file places.sqlite. After that FF runs for a few hours until the problem happens again. Is there a setting or other fix for this issue?

AdBlockPlus and uBlock Origin are both installed, but are disabled on www.foxnews.com.

Hello all, I have three devices, two laptops, and android phone. I have all three synced and running that way no problem other than one thing I have had an open question for since oct 2nd about mass opening synced tabs into active tabs...

Question here is, is there an active sync? like, I want it when I open a new tab on my android, it automatically opens same tab on both laptops, or i open something on a laptop, and the other laptop and android open it as well. same for closing and all that

Im not looking for it to auto complete forms or anything like that, just keep the same tabs opened across all devices

In my Firefox settings I have selected "check for updates but let [me] choose to install them" but Firefox automatically installs updates while I'm using it and immediately requires me to restart the browser. All navigation thereafter returns a page saying I have to restart Firefox to continue.

It's incredibly annoying to have to then sign in to all half dozen or more sites that I was already signed in to. I'm going to have to abandon Firefox if this continues.

Is it a security setting my employer configured? I think I have the same problem at home.

Just opened up Fireox and everything has gone - all bookmarks and folders, toolbar with shortcuts, all of it. I am not a technical person. What do i do to get it all back? Thank you Harry

Ok well i went to about config and tired off all the accessibility about the quick help bar and now my question is every time i try to go to google search and click on shopping no matter what item i am searching for I get a pop up at the the bottom i of the page every time i hit on shopping that say error update can not be added to this list or some thing like that. it was ok until the last update o of firefox and since i did that but am not sure why. doe not do it in Chrome just frefox. firefox is getting to the point b where i an thing king of leaving it. I am about to stop using Firefox, because recently, every time it wants to update, it goes right ahead without my say so, and completely voids my entire history. Everything is gone. I have to find all my tabs again, and sign into them all again. Dreadful. I was a faithful user of this web platform, bit this is so inconveniently useless, I cannot continue.

This issue started with a (frustrating) set of steps following a page which wasn't displayed (https://www.ziggogo.tv/) - the screen remained black. Refresh solved it but the reinstalled plugins didn't show an icon and did not work at all. I de-installed Firefox, installed some old version from an update, installed all plugins and then updated to the latest version. Now finally everything seems to work- except that the 2nd and next windows show at a quarter of the size compared to the first whchi show correctly. I've tried everything I could think of with xulstore.json in the correct ..\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\ subdirectory but nothing helps. I deleted it (which requires you to re-check that you want a menu bar),when I though for a moment it worked, made it read only (which means Firefox makes a .tmp version of it), manually changed the content (e.g. to "main-window":{"screenX":"4","screenY":"4","width":"3840","height":"2048","sizemode":"maximized"}}} matching my 4K monitor but nothing helps. And no, Ctrl click the Close button doesn't help either.

I suspect that it is a (maybe reintroduced) bug in a later build. I don't update often and I haven't seen this issue before.

Anything I can do which I haven't tried?

i wasn't able to drag tabs at one point like i could drag windows but not tabs

also in davinci resolve a video editor, i wasn't able to drag media from a section onto the timeline

if i restarted my laptop, the issue disappeared for around 30 minutes and came back

i switched to windows 11 and the issue went away for a few days but came back. i dont know how to resolve it permanently

I lost all my bookmarks because I forgot my Firefox account password and didn't realize they were in the cloud (I thought they were stored locally). I don't have any bookmarks backups, but I did recently back up my Macbook via Time Machine. Would Time Machine be able to recover my previous bookmarks? If so, how?

I've read and tried the fixes to open the newly updated (deleted and installed 3 times) Mozilla Firefox and nothing is working. I've pressed down alt to open in safe mode and I am unable to get it to open. I've looked for the Facebook plugin to disable it (saw a comment on that) and the plugin folder is empty. Is there a help desk with an actual person that can figure this out?? It is quite alarming to see so many other people with this problem and no real help from Mozilla employees themselves. HELP!!

I frequently need to access a Hi-Fi device on my local ethernet network from https://www.skytune.net For example ... http://192.168.1.68/ or http://192.168.1.62/ (The last 2 digits of the IP change from time to time)

Recently, I keep getting unnecessary security alerts - Any idea why? I have use https only disabled.

How do I paste in the game forge of empires chat windows with my mouse and without clipboard, it will only allow me to use clipboard control V for keyboard not my mouse, using my mouse to select all, copy, it's fine, cannot use paste with mouse,

I have this one page which has "meta refresh" set to 2 minutes, and the page displays my own data from some sensors so it has to be that way.

Anyway, the tab is making the clicking sound whenever it reloads the page. Muting the tab doesn't help.

Is there a way to disable the "click" when the tab reloads in the background?

Please let me know what is wrong here I have recorded the issue as you can see that the buttons of pop up for screen record are missing text also location pop up is missing text same with download file names.

I don't know what is the issue and why the texts are not showing but it's been a big hassle.

Please help me solve it. I barely managed to record thing since even it doesn't show which screen I want to record.

I always receive popup messages when trying to play a youtube video. "Ablockers not allowed". But I haven´t installed any adblocker. I am not sure, but I think this erreor occurs since the last Firefox update (?). Had never before this error. See file attached (in German).

I am using Windows 10.

I typically download 30 to 40 video files daily of around 5 MB each. The most I can download seems to be 8 files, then I have to select the next 8 to download. Is there a way I can select all 30 files and have them download one at a time in order without having to keep selecting the next file?

Whenever I navigate in a video or go fullscreen on YouTube there's a painfully loud crackle, I use the site frequently so I'd appreciate a fix because it's very painful for my ears.

Firefox hangs when I try to maximise the window. If the firefox window is covering half of my screen and I try to maximise by clicking on the window button at the top right, it hangs. I get a message "firefox is not responding, wait or exit." Then I have to select close, and start it again to work. This happens occasionally, once in every 2-3 days.
