The default FF homepage; I like it. It's cool that it gives me a few things to look at the refresh occasionally, and that they're filtered by subject. However there's some sites I don't wish to go to. Either sites that feel like clickbait or sites that have a paywall attached to them. I'd rather they not show up at all.

The thumbs down button does not work for this... in fact I'm not sure exactly what it does. For example there's a website that comes up on the NBA section that is always low effort, bad content click bait. But it's popular because of the sensationalism. I've thumbs downed specifically that website at least 30 times now and it's still a regular pop up under that section.

If there's a way to stop these sites from showing (not just stopping me from going the website through a website blocking app) that would be rad. It feels like an easy button to have.

Each time I click a particular icon, it goes to a page to set up an account for that website. But I already have an account there. How can I change the icon to go to my account instead of the setup page?

I'd like to have no news, people stories, nothing on my screen when I open my browser. Is that possible? I'm ready for the world to slow down and get more connected to nature. Thank you.

I would like my home page to be the ABC news site. However, the default seems to be Brisbane Qld. No matter how many times I change it to my location, which is Melbourne Vic. and then select "use current page" in settings, next time I turn on my PC, it's back to Brisbane. Is there a way to set my home page permanently to show my location (Melbourne Vi.) ? Regards, Manfred

How do I reset my homepage to Firefox and away from Norton. I don't know why my homepage switched away from Firefox. I require explicit foolproof instructions. I am 87 years old and not savvy.

When in Firefox, I have a list of ICONS I can choose from. I also have News, etc., under my ICONS that I can look at before I go on to the ICON I want to check out. In one of those News items, I checked "Bookmark" so I could get back to it later. In so doing, it took me to my Bookmark page, but wouldn't let me get back to my Firefox page I have my icons on. Help Please!

After Firefox update on August 14 the top area of browser started jumping continually so I did a restart. After restart had to reinstall Trusteer and McAfee Webadvisor. However my home page changed to Google and I don't want google as my home page. Cant remember what it was before (believe about:home or something similar). When I go to Settings Search and change search to DuckDuck it changed both the address bar and search bar. I am find with Google in Search bar but was my home page to go back to what it was and not Google. I am a senior and not highly computer savvy - please help and list steps so I can not have Google when I open Firefox browser. Thank you

No matter how many times I visit Amazon.com, it WILL NOT show up on my Home Screen as an ICON. I have tried 2 Rows and 4 Rows. I visit amazon many times in a week, sometimes many times in a day and it never shows up on the Home Screen after my last Firefox Upgrade to 142.0. Before the upgrade, it was always on my Home Screen. I have deleted many ICONS hoping it would somehow fill in as I visit Amazon - but it's not happening.

How can I fix this?

How can I change the settings on Firefox so that only one window opens when I initially open up Firefox? I current get a window with my home page and then two tabs with my home tab.

I have been using this site for a very long time, but, since lastnight (Tuesday January 27, 2026) everything is different. My Theme was gone, the sites I visit were not responding. Am I supposed to set up this page each time I want to use Mozilla? If this is the new normal, then I will not be here long.
