Ce matin,09/03, ORANGE a mis en place une nouvelle messagerie qui ne passe plus sur FIREFOX mais que j'ai retrouvée par un autre navigateur. Tous mes contacts avaient disparu ainsi que les messages reçus ou envoyés.

First, please explain the relationship among Firefox, Mozilla and DuckDuckGo. Second, how to make Firefox open when compuetr starts. Third, how to make DDGo the search engine. Finally, how to delete email contacts. I have been doing some, but others show a red triangle and say "cannot delete this". It appears thousands of others have the same issue with NOTHING affecting the search bar handoff to the address bar (changing true/false in about:config does NOTHING, v148.xx). Why not just do away with any search bar and do everything from the address bar? That way enough will be annoyed they'll find an operational browser. Like too many "upgrades," this one went seriously backwards.

I bought a new computer, downloaded Firefox, but cannot figure out how to import all my bookmarks and passwords. (The old computer is out of commission at a repair shop.)

You say to go to the download page and my version of Windows will be detected & you'll give me the correct version. However, IE 8 in Windows 7 won't go to your download page. So, I need to download from another computer and copy the file to the Windows 7 computer. This doesn't work when you detect that the computer doing the download is a newer computer. How do I tell your system to give me the Windows 7 installer?

i noticed there are many unwanted shortcuts on my firefox home page each time i open the browser can you instruct me how can i get rid of them ? these are not those shortcuts that i added by my self these are just unwanted history webpages that just pop up without my permission i attach the screenshot here .

I would like the web search feature back, what is the point of having it available to look at but it does not work? The box is there... why is there not an option for me to continue to use it? You have done this in the past but there was a work around. What work around I found through AI does not work:

"To restore the search box in Firefox 148.0, type "about:config" in the address bar, accept the risk, and search for "browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.improvesearch.handoffToAwesomebar." Set this preference to false to enable the search box again."

This is disappointing, maddening too. I have used your product for many years.

Hello. I have a question about Firefox. I shut down my PC and turned it on two hours later, but Firefox is still displaying page layouts properly, images on pages aren't displaying, and the screen remains blank even when I load a page from a bookmark. How can I fix this? This is the first time I've seen this happen, whether I've restarted or shut down and restarted.

Gmail will suddenly not open in Firefox with error saying there's a problem with my cookie settings--i did not change settings and cannot find any way to fix this. See attached image. I follow link in error message for "browser specific instructions" to fix it but there are no instructions.

Gmail opens in Edge and Chrome. I've spent some real time on this, cleared system memory, checked cookie settings wherever i can find them. Searched for tips online. Did Google do this on it's own to force me to use their browser? Wouldn't surprise me.

Would appreciate your help in advising how I can re-instate my Protonmail login as it just doesn't seem to want to let me access the site at all - it just tries to access and then keeps coming up with 'oops something went wrong'. It's like there is a block on letting me access? This has only just happened since doing firefox updates.
