I don’t understand what Firefox is doing. For example, I used to start typing the first few letters of “weather.com”, which I visit pretty much daily, and it would auto fill “weather.com”. Now it auto fills every time with http://www.weatherbase.com/. I don’t know where that came from. Similarly, I used to type the first few letters of “duckduckgo.com” and it would bring up “duckduckgo.com”. Now it brings up a magnifying glass below the url with “Search with duckduckgo”. I am thinking it might be best if I can start over, i.e. clear out any information it’s saved about where it thinks I want to go, and start remembering the sites I am entering now.

I get the message: Gmail may not work well with this browser version. Please upgrade to a supported browser. Just got it today. FireFox is version 125.0.3 for Windows 11. On gmail help, it said to disable extensions and add-ons. I did this, restarted Firefox and get the same message.

Today May 1, I noticed that any website that shows a recaptcha checkbox, including the google recaptcha demo (https://www.google.com/recaptcha/api2/demo) only shows an infinite spinner in firefox v125.0.3. I've tried the same sites in chrome and edge and the recaptcha works fine. In FF, I have cleared my cache, disabled tracking protection, disabled anti-virus and tried troubleshooting mode - still get the infinite spinner. Last week, I had no problems with recaptcha.

I have recently refreshed Firefox on my laptop running MacOS. Previously I had changed the full-screen-transition in about:config to be zero, but since refreshing changing the setting hasn't disabled the transition. My config is this currently: full-screen-api.transition-duration.enter 0 0 full-screen-api.transition-duration.leave 0 0 full-screen-api.transition.timeout 0 Despite everything being like before the transition persists... I'm currently on the latest version of Firefox (125.0.3)

Firefox on my pc loads Ebay.com with Chinese characters, not English.

This ONLY happens on PC (mobile phone is fine, same firefox browser) only with firefox (Duck Duck Go on my pc works fine) and ONLY when opening Ebay.

Problem started 4/29. I have done: computer update/restart, firefox update/restart, clear cache in firefox

When logging into an account there are multiple usernames (incorrect or older.) I would like to remove or delete them, but keep the current passwords.

Is that possible without deleting the account?

Until yesterday everything was fine. I was able to complete recaptcha. But when I tried searching something today, I couldn't do it because of the recaptcha. It was stuck on infinite loading. Every website I visited the problem was there. I tried fixing it from the tips I found in the forum here but nothing seems to work. I was frustrated. Then I tried Brave browser and it was working. Please help me fix this problem. Thank you.

Hi, I have been using firefox for many years and never showed me an UAC popup requiring permissions to update firefox as soon as i clicked the firefox icon in the taskbar. Today suddenly required it. I am administrator in windows 10, and have automatic updates enabled as always. I am using 125.0.3 (64-bit) version. This could be a bug or a virus? i am worried that could have given permission to a virus to install something else when i pressed the firefox icon.

I have updated Firefox, refreshed Firefox, gone through Troubleshoot mode, cleared the startup cache, and deleted the "xulstore.json" in my profile folder.

Pls help this is driving me nuts + making me want to switch browsers. Thanks : )

I use Lightfolio.com for my website hosting. My computer does not let me login or load the website using Firefox. I've deleted the cookies, and played with the settings, and it still doesn't work. I'm really needing help as this is dampering my business.

My provider has deleted my email account without prior notification. I have no second email adress registered, and also no access to my old email adress.

How can I change my primary email adress now?

When we log into our Yahoo email, there's a small triangle (see screen shot) next to the padlock on the address bar that says "connection not secure".

Not sure what to do to get rid of it.

How to PROPERLY erase history? I mean, you erase HISTORY...click...there you go...?!?!?...but, what's happening? I erased HISTORY...ah, I erased it FROM the panel but, it WILL remained on the list that it shows on top of the icon (sic) ...someone suggested to go on the panel, select privacy, scroll to history, pass over "Never remember history...." (?) AND then you "click"... Clear...what is the point? clear means clear means clear from EVERYWHERE...sorry about the mess I wrote but I was frustrated
