Hi ich habe versucht, die einstellungen zum einem fehlgeschlagenen login mit hilfe von chaptjpt zu verbessern. habe dadurch mein konto verändert. mein password neu erstellt und wiederherstellungsschlüssel ist nich korrekt. auf dem iphone ist alles drauf aber mit dem sekundären email adresse und das password ist auch weg wie kann ich die einstellungen lesezeichen auf den firefox im rechner übertragen?

Despite trying all available solutions, importing bookmarks from Chrome does not work in this firefox latest version 150.0.1. When importing Bookmarks from Chrome, the Saved Passwords file is fully imported and shows 163 Nos. imported. But on opening Firefox, nothing is there. No folder contains imported bookmaks. Tried importing several times, but to no avail. Uninstalled, restarted PC and reinstalled firefox. But importing Bookmarks and Passwords from Chrome sucks. I am fully aware of the procedure. So no more detailing needed. Using firefox since the last 16 years. But the software makers are simply spoiling a good browser by deliberately creating issues. Tried importing from saved html file of bookmakrs, but that also is not helpful. Why Firefox is deliberately causing such errors with updated versions? Please release next version after thoroughly checkining this importing feature and ensure that it works correctly. I tried uninstalling, restarting the PC and reinstalling with with full offline installer as well as online installer. Nothing helped. Chrome works smoothly. Earlier firefox did not have any such issues. With each update, problems after prblems started creeping in with someone deliberately tweeking the software and spoiling a good browser. Please look into it seriously and provide a solution.

No Bookmarks (which are shown as imported from Chrome, almost 163 number of Bookmarks) are visible anywhere in Firefox. They are neither stored in the Bookmarks Tool Bar nor in any folder named Imported from Chrome. This is the situation. Uninstalled Firefox, removed all Folders (including the ones in hidden folders) and cleaned the Registry. Restarted the PC, reinstalled Firefox directly from the firefox site online, tried importing the Bookmarks from Chrome after restarting on installation of Firefox. Saved All passwords from Chrome as a CSV file (a Firefox requirement) and tried importing Bookmarks from Chrome along with the Passwords from the CSV file saved on Desktop. Again, the importing showed 163 Nos. of Bookmarks are imported. But on restarting Firefox, no bookmark could be found. Neither in the Bookmarks toolbar nor in any folder named with any name. My Bookmarks toolbar is checked as Always visible. I DO NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO NOW TO MAKE THE FIREFOX WORK as in the previous version. This kind of an error has crept only after updating Firefox to v150.0.1.

I keep most of my bookmarks under the "Bookmarks Toolbar"; I have quite a few of them.

I've always enjoyed the ease and utility of the "Add Folder..." menu item in "Manage Bookmarks", but now it fails on each and every attempt to add a new folder! For example, if I select a folder under "Bookmarks Toolbar", right click that folder, and select the "Add new folder..." item from the drop-down menu Firefox simply "freezes up" - becomes totally non-responsive (spinning beach ball!).

The only way I've been able to recover is using the macOS "Activity Monitor" to "Force Quit" Firefox! If I repeat the "Add Folder..." process described above - Firefox "freezes up" again. I've tried re-booting, and that doesn't cure the problem.

Without trying to confuse the primary issue, I have noticed other "bad behavior" from Firefox:

1. 1. Firefox "disappears" from the menu bar regularly. I can get it back by moving to another desktop, and returning to the desktop with my Firefox windows. However, it will disappear again in short order.

1. 2. Firefox is very slow loading some of the web pages I visit regularly.

When did this start? It started very recently. I have a new (about two weeks old) MacBook Pro. The "Add Bookmark.." issue began only today, but the other issues I mentioned have been around longer.

This is frustrating... I suspect this is caused by Apple's macOS software, but of course have no way to prove that! And in the "FWIW Column": my Chrome browser has basically the same function and interface for adding folders, and it still functions flawlessly.

When watching twitch and I open another tab, the new tab is very slow to open a web page and sometimes wont open at all just keeps scrolling. Any suggestions how to solve this problem?? I tried with Opera and it doesnt have that problem?? Dont want to give up on Firefox as I like it the most. Any help much appreciated.

My old laptop is broken; I can no longer access the hard drive. Is there any way I can reorganize my old bookmarks from before a specific date, i.e., December 15, 2025, in Firefox?

I recently bought a new laptop running on Windows 11 Pro. All my settings for languages (English GB) in Firefox are the same as my old laptop, which was Windows 10.

On my W11Pro laptop, the translation icon doesn't appear when I highlight a portion of text in a foreign language, whereas it did appear in my old laptop. If I right click on the highlighted text I can access "translate selected text" but nothing happens when I click on that. Translating an entire webpage works fine, it's just the highlighted text that doesn't.

I'm not very technically minded, so any answer will need to be in simple terms! Thanks.

Hello. I have a question regarding a problem with exporting files in Firefox. For about four days now, when I try to export files in Firefox, it fails. I've looked into it, but haven't been able to find a solution. Could you please give me some advice? I've tried various things within my capabilities, but nothing has worked. Firefox 150.0.1 64bit

when i open my firefox, all of my previous opened tabs goes blank and only 1 rightmost recent tab can be open, that was my last night tab,next i close firefox and open again and my tabs its all gone

I've had this problem with viewing expanded jpg's that up until now, I've been trying to get along with. On the website, milesplit.com, there's an option at the bottom of every picture, it gives the option saying to click here to view a larger version. After I click it, I get a small box saying "You have chosen to open..." and then a big string of letters and numbers for the file name. It continues "which is: application/octet-stream file (156 KB) from: d193frjqb908ar.cloudfront.net" And then asks what Firefox should do with it, either open or save it. From there, I always select Open with and click on Browse. The next screen is long and narrow and at the top it says to Choose Helper App. Then, it gives the application/octet-stream name, which happens to be the same no matter what picture you're looking at, and then it says Send this item to and gives (in my case) 6 apps to readily click on, with Firefox being at the top. As I always want Firefox to open it, I just click OK and then click OK again in the smaller box. And finally, the larger version of the picture is displayed in another tab. Now, I've been using this site on and off for at least 15 years and before a few years ago, I had no problems. So, is this a fixable problem, or do I have to keep on doing what I have been doing?

I am subscribed to a newsletter and ever so often firefox doesn't allow communication with the comments. This has happened several times and I have always corrected the problem in firefox, I have forgotten how I corrected the problem, For me this is an ongoing problem any suggestions?

I am a long time Chrome user but decided to give Firefox a try for various reasons. 1 like Firefox's ability to highlight and add text comments to articles and documents. One feature lacking, or maybe it exists but I have not discovered it, would be the ability to copy and save all highlights / commnents in an article / document to subsequently use them as a summary, abstract, or digest of main points To preclude having to re read the entire document again And that's wanting to do so. There is a Chrome extension called Highlighter that Does just that , supports the copy all highlights.

Firefox browser does not open when I click on the short cup. Instead it opens 2 small windows, one is a website I visited previously and the other is Firefox settings. Why is this happening? I have Windows 10 on my computer but that should not have anything to do with the Firefox browser or search engine not opening. When it opened the small screen that only showed Firefox settings I clicked it to open in full screen and now there is no option to make the screen smaller or exit the Mozilla support page. And, now with this full screen I can't even do a screen shot to show you what I am talking about. Does anybody know what is going on with this?

Recently I have a problem with toolbar and in the Firefox browser. Usually I have 3 display (display from laptop and two monitors). When I use Firefox browser on the main display the toolbar very often is not working correctly.

Mainly the problem is with the folders inside the toolbar, so when I hover any folder, the bookmarks saved in that folder don't appear or appear for just one/two sec, then they disappear.

The second problem is when I have the firefox open on the second display (or on the laptop display) and I moved any tab (only the tab, not entire Firefox application), then my toolbar shows only the first bookmark that is saved on my list.

In attachments I added two ss (one is with my normal view on toolbar, and the second one is with the only first bookmark)

A pain in the ass I do not want updates I have it marked on settings every update I get screws up computer I do not do a lot except stock market then take a nap I am 88 and not interested in playing games or silly stuff

On all other browsers the drop down menus still show after first use, except in Firefox - where after first use they disappear and you have to go back to Home to re-show them.

I have tried the suggestions give for configuring the site iin Elementor/Wordpress but none have solved the problem and I can only assume the answer lies in Firefox settings.

How do i get my original profile page to always open when i open firefox instead of a new page without my bookmaks. This started right after my visit to Mozilla so i must have changed something. I don't know what!.
