Good day all, im trying to restore my bookmarks from early November of 2022, but im having a hard time porting the bookmarks over, im looking for the easiest solutions, documents write-up or even videos.

Hello there; I had installed the "savefrom.net" extension. This extension automatically generated the website address to the "bookmarks toolbar". I deleted the extension and deleted the shortcut as well. But when the bookmarked website shortcut "firefox" is closed and reopened, it adds itself to the bookmarks toolbar again. No matter what I did, it didn't work. I don't want to delete Firefox completely and reinstall it. Because there are too many shortcuts and data that I use all the time. How do you think I can solve this problem?

I am a user of a famous idiom dictionary, and I have been using this website in Mozilla Firefox for so long. But for the past few days since Mozilla has updated, this website has not been loading correctly and appears to be broken. Mostly it's designs and images does not loaded always. I have tried it in Google Chrome, and it works well there. I don't want to switch to Chrome since I have lots of bookmarks with Mozilla and am also familiar with it. I don't any problem with other side but with only www.theidioms.com So, is there anyway I can resolve the issue?

I am currently using Mozilla 108.0.2 (64-bit).

I can't save an image with an asterisk in the filename when saving from my Firefox browser. I used to be able to, but now any asterisk I add to the filename just vanishes like I didn't type it at all. I can change the file name in other ways, like adding words. I can still save from Chrome, so it's a Firefox issue, and a recent update. Help!!!

Hey all, (thanks for the continued work on firefox and happy new year) I use Firefox sync from multiple devices in my ecosystem, a micture of all three main OS (Windows, Linux and macOS / IOS). Some time ago, I must have had one device which probably generated a new device UID everytime it synced, or some kind of bug in the Firefox IOS client. This results in having a large magnitude of devices in my firefox sync account. I can only delete them one-by-one with a confirmation dialogue and a reload of the page, which is really cumbersome. I have the feature request of some easier device management policy here. Ideas would be either a "delete all" button and afterwards signing in again on all still active devices, or a series of check boxes to perform actions like a delete on multiple devices at once, perhaps even with a "select all" shortcut at the top. Hello, it‘s been a while I‘m having issues with playing the full screen videos on multiple displays setup.

Summary: When I start the full screen video, the system tray on other displays disappears. I can display it by activating different app on the other display but when I want to play the full screen video on one display and work in other Firefox window on another display, the system tray is not visible.

Version: 108.0.2 (64-bit) and many older versions.

OS: macOS 13.0.1

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce: Open the Firefox window. Open a new tab and move this new tab on another display. In the first tab, play some video in full screen mode. (E.g. some YouTube video.)

Actual Results: The system tray is not visible on all displays without the full screened video.

Expected behavior: The system tray is visible on all displays without the video playing in full screen mode.

Workaround: Firstly opening the tab with video in full screen mode (⌃⌘F) and then entering the full screen video ensures the visibility of system tray on other displays.

The system tray is visible also when working with other apps but Firefox. (Not possible when need to work in other browser window.)

Do you have this issue as well, how should we proceed?

Firefox keeps loading incorrect webpages for two websites. The websites are; https://www.diy.com https://www.trade-point.com The two websites work fine with Microsoft Edge but not with Firefox. See attached images. Please advise how to resolve this issue. Thnak you, Mark

I have a MacBook Pro and an Epson ET-3850 printer. I can not get my printer to do two sided printing using firefox but it does work if I use Safari. How can I get two sided printing using firefox?

Normally, Firefox updates always proceed without incident

Yesterday, after installing Firefox 108.0.2 in the ‘usual’ manner, things went a little haywire. The result was there was evidently two instances of Firefox ‘active’, even though the app was not open. Attempting to Force Quit them failed (“app in use”). Only after logging out of my computer account and logging back was I able to Force Quit, the, now, one instance of Firefox still in evidence. I restored v. 108.0.1 using Time Machine.

The ‘usual’ update manner consisted of Firefox notifying me the update was available and downloading the version, then restarting Firefox via the Firefox > About Firefox dialog.

The two instances appeared when displaying the ’switch app’ listing of open apps via CMD-TAB and in the Force Quit dialog

The incident was so gnarly, I’m hesitant to try installing the update again.

macOS Monterey 12.6.2 iMac (Retina 4K, 21.5-inch, 2017)

Using Firefox 108.0.2 with Windows 10 on an HP laptop and Thunderbird 102 current version.

When filling out a form and box shows enter email address there are times with saved email address pops up into box. I cannot find where those email addresses are located so I can add or remove one or more addresses. Where are those address stored? Thanks

I have tried many recommendations to control the bookmark spacing in firefox 108.0.2. I prefer to have single spacing, which is much more convenient than the wider spacing which now exists. Although many "workarounds" exist, none work to change this problem in the latest version. Why is this problem so difficult to resolve? It worked before and I trusted that it would work again after updating from the last version where it did work. This change is very disappointing.

I looked through the treads below, but could not see where any rules block any changes from occurring.

I have not been able to login to my email on Firefox for more than six months. It never loads my emails anymore. It keeps trying to load and never does. The screen keeps on flickering as Forefox tries to load the emails.. Any work around or a solution for this issue?

I exported my bookmarks to an HTML file. WHen I try to import them I get an error message that there are no items. However, when I open the file I see the links and when I click on them I am taken to the sites.

Every time Firefox updates (way too often) - 'ALL my settings disappear' - even my home pages! I have to spend a half hour minimum getting them all back, figuring out where I was and what I was doing before the windows closed. This has always been the case. I HATE IT - it interferes with my work and overrides my personal choices. Mozilla, aren't you tech-savvy enough to be able to update an app without changing all settings back to default? Shame on you.

    Can anyone suggest a better browser? I haven't found one yet that doesn't have serious problems.

How do I get rid of keybinds or at least change them it's really annoying when I'm working on stuff and i try to close one tab and then i close the entire window by accident by fat fingering shift.
