Hi, I disabled several options in about:config, and a feature previously disappeared. When I pressed the scroll button in the diamond, it opened a tag and automatically navigated to it. Also, when there was a previously open page, and I open any bookmark (tags), the selected page opens in a new window, I want it. Please help me.

I cant get any sound on firefox for desktop im using a windows 11 laptop. I have checked all windows settings and every app expect firefox has sound. please help thanks.

Loving FireFox more and more, but if there is one feature I really miss from Safari is the Touch ID autofill password. Is there a possibility it'll come in future updates ?

Some pages were crashing before, now that I have updated to 113, happens on almost any page. Same problem in troubleshooting mode, so not an extension, plug-in, etc. Attached troubleshooting info.

it's a few days (less than a week I'd say, maybe slightly more), that I'm getting some weird behaviour from Firefox and youtube: any time starts an ads (or comes back the video), starts a new video, move forward with the arrow key, the audio simply disappears. It doesn't mute, I mean, the mute button is not on and even if I mute/unmute the video remains silent, it just disappears into thin air. In order to get it back, the only way I found is to pause and restart the video. I deleted the cache, tested private mode, troubleshooting mode, even another (completely new) windows user, but the problem remains. The only thing that comes to my mind I have not yet tried is a portable version of firefox, just in case. I tried to replicate the issue in Chrome (to exclude some issue of the computer), but it worked just fine.

The problem started on firefox 112 and it's still present now that was updated to 113.

Funny thing, in the last couple of days, the issue started happening somehow at random and generally a little less frequently.

Any idea?

I've just installed Firefox 113.0 and my tab bar is now above the toolbar and bookmarks bar. Up until 112, the tab bar was below the bookmarks bar. I have no changed anything in UserChrome and in fact that file is still dated 2020. I've searched but haven't found an explanation. Anyone know what changed or is this just a bug? Thanks

Example. Let's say I'm using FirefoxTranslations to translate an average-sized article, on Wikipedia, from German into English.

On the top left hand side of the screen, FirefoxTranslations tells me it has downloaded 17'140'835 bytes.

It always seems to be the same amount of bytes. This is downloaded for every single translation.

I thought that, once downloaded, the vocabulary would be stored, locally, on my computer. Permanently.

Doesn't look like it's happening.

What am I doing wrong?

I have honestly no idea why you guys don't have an option to be able to put the tabs bellow the address bar like in the old versions of firefox. I used the userchrome.css for a long time to place the tabs back on the bottom of the address bar and at the minimum once a year you guys break the program. Is it so hard to program a switch or something to place the tabs on the bottom?

I just upgraded firefox to v 113 64 bit with windows 7 ultimate. Now when I watch youtube in fullscreen there's a border around the screen. i don't use picture in picture and it isn't on yet the border won't go away no matter what I do. Please fix this or i will use another browser. i will include a screenshot from youtube in fullscreen mode look at it.

I am trying to get a notification from this site( https://qualitywriters.net/pa/projects/ongoing-projects) and the bell indicating that I am "subscribed to the notification," but I am not successful. help, please. Note that the bell that indicates that " you are subscribed to notifications" appears on( https://www.prowriters.pro/). this is very important for me in my browser. Thank you.

NB: I have allowed notifications in permissions, as guided by your website manual.

However, this has not resolved the situation.

2nd issue. I want any automatic redirects to the site whenever I click on a popup notification. Let me explain further. if a notification from Mozilla comes on the PC, It cannot bring the Mozilla page automatically, I have to manually search for the tab and click it to bring it to the top of the display.

J'utilise FF depuis qu'il existe. Avant, dans les paramètres, on avait des options pour les mises à jour. Je choisissais toujours « me demander avant d'installer mises à jour ». Depuis 2 ans, j'utilise linux. FF est installé par défaut sur Linux. Quand je veux choisir pour PARAMÉTRER les mises à jour, il n'y a aucun choix. J'ouvre souvent plusieurs fenêtres en même temps dans FF, pour les lire plus tard. Mais FF me dit de redémarer FF parce qu'il a installé des mises à jour !!! Parce que je navigue toujours en «privé», ces pages ne sont pas rouvertes au redémarrage de FF. Donc je perds beaucoup de temps, souvent au milieu d'un travail important, pARCE QUE JE DOIS RÉOUVRIR TOUTES MES PAGES ! ET IL FAIT CES MISES À JOUR DE FAÇON ALÉATOIRE, À N'IMPORTE QUELLE HEURE DU JOUR OU DE LA NUIT ! Donc je demande que FF me redonne le choix dans les paramètres. Je ne veux pas que FF installe les mises à jour quand il le décide, sans tenir compte de mon travail en cours. Ou y-a-t-il une version plus nouvelle qui permet ces choix ? In youtube videos, creators will say "click the link above" and point and often there will be links on screen during a video for related content, aka annotations. They simply don't exist in firefox. I can't click or even see them. I opened YT in chrome and the annotations all pop up and are clickable. Annotations are turned on I've cleared cookies to no avail. Please advise.

When I choose Full Screen mode on any website, it doesn't cover the entire screen, there's always space on the left, right and below. There's no problem with other browsers, only Firefox. It started happening since the last update. Stretching manually doesn't work. Win 7.

It seems that since installing 113.0, none of my streaming services (Netflix, HBOMax and SkyShowtime will no longer run in full screen mode without displaying strange borders on the screen. This problem is on my Win7 laptops. And Netflix will not run on my Win11 laptop displaying the error code F7701-1003.

Can I uninstall this Firefox update or can you provide a fix?

And just so you know, I do not have this problem with the Microsoft Edge browser on the Win11 laptop.

A fast reply will be appreciated.

Hello everybody. I have the option checked, that makes Firefox restore all opened tabs from the previous session when I closed it. When I open Firefox up again, it opens all my last tabs and puts me in the one I last used. However what I want to happen is, that it opens all my tabs from last session but also opens my homepage and puts me there. Is there any way to achieve this?
