Hello! Since a month I have a strange problem - Firefox wont connect to any Google service - REcaptcha, google-analytics. Any site that uses these services would not load, or loads and waits until connection expires. I tried refreshing Firefox, the uninstalling and re-installing - the problem remains. I do not use any proxy or firewall on my computer. Opera and other browsers do not have this problem. Please, advice.

Hi. I want to sync with my work pc (it used to work just fine but when I synced to a newer third pc- successfully- it just stopped). When i try to sign in on the work pc it asks me for the primary password which it then FAILS to recognise to allow me to proceed! What's going on? I can't even log onto sites with saved passwords anymore. Any help appreciated.

ONLY IN FIREFOX when I open Spider Solitaire there is an hotel video ALWAYS in the lower right corner - NOT WITH GOOGLE. I try to block it but no go. Here's the site. Today, I cannot open Cox E-mail using Firefox, but I can with Google Chrome (which I pretty much never use). See the error message below, can someone help? I have a Dell E6520 laptop running Window 7. Thanks.

Hopefully you can help. I know this may be a Microsoft issue or question but I'm having trouble in finding a reasonable way to contact them for help. My question is, my computer runs slow, and so I thought I would clean up my files by using the Microsoft disk clean up procedure. I did so. But, my specific question is what is a good number to have when the it says a given number of disk space can be cleaned up? For example, I believe when I first tried to clean the disk it said 5.1 GB of disk space could be cleaned. When I ran the disk clean process and it completed it then said 66 KB of disk space could be cleaned. So how much disk space did I gain or get cleaned up? And, if I can only clean up 66 KB of disk space is that indicative of not really needing to clean the disk any farther? Hopefully some one can help. While this may be a Microsoft issue, I believe the Firefox contributors have enough computer knowledge to help answer my question. At least that is my hope. Thank you.

'Block Site' merely blocks access to a list of sites, but does not stop them appearing. is there a way to stop websites which use <gob.mx> in the address, which attempt to re-direct to 'mirror' sites that try to steal personal info and generate 'Illegal re-direct' warnings from anti-virus programs from appearing in firefox searches, automatically, rather than having to enter <XXXXXXX, -gob.mx> each time I search ?

I was trying to change some settings on Firefox and I accidentally closed it and lost all of my tabs. I have the setting enabled to open tabs from last browsing session, but I was messing with the extension OneTab and I lost my open tabs.

Just to be clear, it wasn't the fault of OneTab, this is was my fault for closing Firefox too quickly when it was restoring my tabs and I didn't allow it to finish.

Anyway, in attempting to recover my tabs, I have restored from backup my "sessionrestore-backups" folder; this didn't work. I have also restored my entire Mozilla folder in my profile; this also didn't work.

I also tried following this article (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-restore-browsing-session-backup), but the sessionstore.jsonlz4 file doesn't exist. I did a search for this file in my profile and it doesn't exist anywhere.

Does anyone have any ideas that may help?

Hi, I have an old PC with Win7 and Firefox 115.30.0esr (64-bit) (latest version from 11 november 25) and this website cultuursmakers.be has problems aka differences with Firefox 141.0.3 (of my Android tablet) and other browsers such as Chrome. The green heading block overlaps and hide the upper part of the content block. For example, if you select inloggen (log in), then you see that the user name (naam) is not visible and only the box for the password is shown. Work around: Right click on the header and select Inspect. In the Inspector (html column) select the header tag. In the Inspector (css column) uncheck in the '.header.--fixed' selector the line 'position: fixed;' Now the content block shifts down and all content is visible. Can you verify / fix that? Using Firefox ESR 115.30 in Windows 7 Ultimate, I routinely open multiple tabs, then, at the end of the day or session I'll bookmark them all into a new folder and close them all.

Later, I might return to that folder and choose to open say, 5 of the group. Is there a way to select all 5 (without opening any) and once I've finished selecting them, have all 5 open at once? Rather than just one at a time? So far it seems that I have to open them one by one.

I tend to have a fair amount of windows and tabs open but this doesn't seem to have a noticed correlation. The symptoms are that FF will just go catatonic (spinning circle, Not Responding Header). When this happens the hard drive light is on solid. Eventually (10s of seconds to several minutes) FF will return to operation. Any idea of what is happening and how to fix this?

I just updated to the esr version and I lost the ability to automatically play voice messages attached to my email. could you please let me know how to fix this problem Thank you

Hi, I'm a Firefox user since around 2004. Whenever I used FF i always opened multiple windows of FF. At some point Mozilla came out with Tabs. I don't use them and as a matter of fact I use the option under settings to open links in a new window (not tabs). Always have, Why? Habit I guess from the times I first starting using FF. I seriously don't use Tabs. I would like to Remove the Tab Bar from FF because of this reason and it frees up a lot of visual space on my browser. I've spent hours reading/searching/trying on "how" to remove or at least hide the Tab Bar. Waste of time so far, so I decided to Post the Question.

How Do I Hide or Remove the Tab Bar in FireFox?

Currently running 115.4.0esr, 64 bit... I have auto updates disabled via the json policy, yet every day I keep getting the warning about an update required and must go to download it... How can I disable the warning? It is annoying.

As well, while here in the forums, I did the "about firefox" thing to get the version and despite my settings, FF downloaded an update and wants me to restart to install it... what if I dont want it?

I get that you folks want to make things .... right... but there have been many changes that I am not fond of. Please respect my privacy and let me update by my own choice.

I have one site that produces PDF files that Firefox will not open correctly, my other browsers do not have a problem with PDF. What should I be looking for to correct.

Hi, I installed the new update yesterday. This morning, I cannot access anything through my usual Firefox browser. I'm making this report from Google - which is working fine on the same computer. When I try to access any websites, the usual tab opens with a greyed-out "X" (or hourglass?) on the left of the tab - then nothing happens. I've tried restarting - no luck. I suspect yesterday's update was flawed/had a glitch. Please help.
