What in the world have you done to Firefox??? It is so screwed up that it is impossible to log in. What used to be a wonderful way to cruise the web somewhat safely has turned into an impossible adventure. After several weeks trying to work around what appears to be bad code, I gave up and went to Opera. I've often wondered if people from competitors to Firefox have infiltrated its ranks to intentionally destroy it. It has happened before and certainly appears to have happened again.

But no way to bypass it, trying to login to my ubiquiti edgerouter at http://192.168.1.1 or https://192.168.1.1

What can i do?

I am currently testing the new VPN feature in Firefox. I Is noticed that Firefox always starts with this integrated VPN being off. I searched but I didn't find any way to have it always on when launching VPN. Is that possible?

How do I turn off the "split view" option... or move it somewhere else?

I get you are trying to add features... but this is one I dont need or want... and its in the place of a feature I ACTUALLY use "open link in new tab".

Very frustrating to try to open a new link only to loose HALF the screen I am currently using and NO WAY to move said tab off.

Unbelievably weird placement of this "feature".

The plugging is NOT updating and it's blocking me from watching anything on streaming. I've tried triggering the update by turning it on and off, by tugging on and off the "DRM" option in settings, by turning off the updates and then looking for updates... I went to about:config and made sure that all options were "true". What I get is an "error in downloading the update" that I can't fix.

Can someone help?

This is killing my efficiency, I upload many files in the order i see fit, I select the folder, I upload the file, I open the link again to upload, it takes me to the same folder. Not anymore

Now, with every upload no matter what folder I am in it takes me to "Download" folder, this change just happened on 10-8-26. Open link to upload file, now it is defaulted "Download" folder, it used to be last folder used.

I dont have this issue when I upload in chrome.

Since I updated to version 157.0, my YouTube is performing extremely slow. I haven's changed any settings since the update. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

I routinely keep a tab open to view my iCloud account (PC running Windows 10 Pro).

Everything has worked just fine in the past. Here are the basics using Edge... -The home page displays like the first attachment. -Clicking an icon takes me to the calendar page (see the Edge screenshot in the second attachment) -Clicking the word, 'iCloud' (see yellow arrow in second attachment) returns me to the home page.

But now, using Firefox, if I click the calendar icon (or any other) the calendar return link and Calendar page title are superimposed over one another and the return link does not work. -Check out the yellow arrow in the third attachment -If I click the iCloud/Calendar mishmash I get nothing. If I click left arrow or Back I get nothing.

Note that this still works fine with Edge but does not work with Firefox. Please note also that this happens on a different PC running Windows 11 Home. Have tried clearing Firefox cache (no change) but don't know what else to try.

Any ideas?

Warum in Englisch??? Ich lebe in Deutschland, habe mich in Deutschland in "Deutscher Sprache" angemeldet und erwarte dass Firefox dass nicht nur zur Kenntnis nimmt, sondern auch anwendet! Ich will nicht bei jedem Umblättern oder anklicken von Links jedes Mal wieder versuchen eine Deutsche Seite zu erlangen - das ist ätzend und leider auch technisch nicht sehr überzeugend! Auch auf dieser Seite sind die meißten Texte in Englisch -das ist einfach schlecht - wenn ich dem System als Sprache Deutsch angebe, erwarte ich von einem System im 21. Jahrhundert, dass er das nicht nur versteht sondern auch beibehält und auch bei der nächsten Anmeldung in dem Account noch weiß und nicht wieder erneut mit dem "Engisch-Zirkus" beginnt. Leider ist diese Programm gefühlt davon weiter entfernt als Berlin von NewYork! So I'm helping sort out an individual who is very computer illiterate and I'm getting them to use Firefox.. but when it updates, the window that tells you what's new pops up... now this is helpful for most! but for this individual it really confuses them and they tend to call me about it every time... so I'm wondering if their is a way to disable the popup window, to make it less confusing for them without disabling the updates entirely?
