Firefox repeatedly crashes on my, multiple times a day. I'dc really like to NOT have to change my default browser to Chrome.

What happens is that Firefox freezes, and I get a white bar at the top telling me so. I get a popup box asking if I want to close Firefox or wait for it to respond. Waiting doesn't work, so I always have to close Firefox. When I reopen it, fortunately all m,y open tabs are retained, but it crashes again within minutes or seconds as soon as I click on anything.

There only thing that seems to work is a reboot of my PC. But the respite is short before Firefox crashes again.

I've disabled most plugins, but that hasn't helped. Is there a way to create an event log within Firefox that I can share with someone at Mozilla to help e debug the issue? It's got to be something local rather than Firefox itself; I can't imagine this is happening to most users.

For years, my Dell Latitude (Windows) laptop and devices connected to it via Bluetooth coexisted well. For this same time, I have used Firefox (latest version) only. The laptop connected to whatever Bluetooth device I was using and it worked when i used Firefox.

This changed about three months ago. According to my tech repairman, what has happened is that, although the (Windows) laptop connects with the Bluetooth devices, Firefox for some reason stopped allowing the Bluetooth signal to go through.

There has never been any notification from Firefox, never has been a way to edit a setting to allow Bluetooth to work, and no option(s) ever offered to allow Bluetooth to work.

Does anyone have a suggestion about fixing this; other than the obvious – use a different browser?

I used to have about 40 quick links, or bookmarks on my home page. I had pinned several. Others appeared according to how often I used them. The latest update deleted all but 3. I am very unhappy. How can I get rid of this update and bring back my quick links? I guess I will have to go back to Brave.

When Firefox updated to 147.0.3, it shredded Quick Dial and I am using the latest version.. Less than half of my tabs still exist, and many of the "everyday" tabs - banking, utilities, online purchasing, etc, - are simply gone. Unless there is a solution, and I have contacted the developer with no success, I will no longer be a Firefox user. Beyond this issue, Firefox has been increasing difficult to use for purchases (big examples, Rock Auto, PayPal) and have had to switch browsers too many times to complete purchases DESPITE making exceptions for these websites in Settings. This situation is the proverbial "last straw". Solution or I'm out. Screenshot attached would have originally shown A FULL PAGE OF TABS.

This feature/option is not working. I close with multiple tabs open, and restart and only the generic search/home page is there. It is tedious to have to reopen if many tabs have been used.

I have updated my firefox on W11 laptop to the latest version 147.0.3 (64-bit) but it cannot show any pictures from some, but not all, sites. Not from www.svt.se nor from www.yr.no But its ok from other sites, as www.tradera.com and www.kjell.com

It works fine using android firefox version 147.0.3

Any ideas, anyone?

I do not want Firefox to restore my last session unless there was a crash, and thus I have the setting "Open previous windows and tabs" unchecked. However, if I reboot my PC and reopen Firefox, it brings up my last set of tabs. And I always close the entire Firefox window before shutting down, so there's no way it should think that it had crashed. This doesn't seem to happen when I close Firefox and reopen within the same PC session (i.e. without shutting down in between).

Thank you for the prompt reply and I'm sending it back to English I have a problem with the yahoo.mail account. While I log in normally when I'm on google on mozilla I can't log in and while it accepts the passwords. He gives me an answer: " Technical problem. Right now we can't connect you try some other time " I spoke with help YAHHO . I did everything prescribed but nothing. It took me to the solution of the subscription. Can you help? Thank you

After it updated to 147.0.3 it says that it is not compatibile with miniversion 147.0.2 nor with maxiversion 147.0.2. It suggests re installing (done) so can now at least access Mozilla again but still says at varying times not compatible etc. It is Windows 10 Any suggestions?

I use Firefox on all of my computers and they all have a plus sign next to an open tab to open a new tab, but on this computer I have to right click on the 5tab bar to open a new tab - how can I get the plus sign to show for easy tab opening?

i re-installed my windows, installed firefox, and it automatically re-synced everything, a few days later, windows had an issue so i had to install windows again, but this time, when i installed firefox, i logged in, and after finishing syncing nothing was there, everything is gone, that being said, it's only form the desktop browser, i still have all my bookmarks and passwords on my phone's firefox, but they wont sync into the desktop one i cant find an option to export the phone ones into a file to import in the desktop app, i need help

Within the Applications section of my settings, I have it set to open content type of crcc with an application. However when I try now after the latest Firefox update, it opens a new blank tab instead of just launching the application. Anyone else notice this and is there a work around. Of note, after about 5 minutes it does eventually open the application.

I’m experiencing ongoing problems with Firefox and hope to get some help or clarification here.

Main issue: I’m unable to sign in to my Outlook / Microsoft email account using Firefox. The login page does not load correctly, or the sign-in simply fails (Error 400). When I use another browser (for example Microsoft Edge), the login works without any issues.

System information:

Operating System: Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 2021 (LTSC, supported until 2032)

Firefox version: 147.0.3 (64-Bit)

Additional problems: Besides the Outlook login issue, Firefox has recently become more problematic during normal daily use:

Text selection with the mouse often does not work correctly

Clicking and dragging to highlight text is unreliable or stops working

Pages sometimes feel unresponsive, (ChatGPT)

Overall, the browser feels less stable than older Versions on Windows 10 22H2

These issues seem to be getting more frequent over time and occur on multiple websites, not just Outlook.

I switched my system to Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 2021 (LTSC, supported until 2032) in the hope of improved performance and stability.

What I have already tried:

Clearing cache and cookies

Disabling all add-ons/extensions

Testing in Private Browsing mode

Restarting Firefox

Unfortunately, none of these steps resolved the problems permanently.

My questions:

Is Firefox fully supported on Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 2021 / LTSC for the long term (until 2032)?

Are there known issues with Microsoft / Outlook sign-in specifically in Firefox?

Are there known stability issues (text selection, mouse interaction, page responsiveness) in recent Firefox versions?

What settings or troubleshooting steps are recommended to improve stability?

The last few days I am unable to load websites that I regularly use. I get a cannot find error message. I have no clue what is going on. I turned off the vpn but that had no effect. This is really hindering my getting things done. Anyone with insight? I cleared the cash and cookies and all that, rebooted the browser as well as the desktop. Thanks

G0ogle hasn't helped! How can I remove some entries from the Bookmarks menu, such as: Search Bookmarks Bookmark All Tabs I'd also like to remove or hide "Other Bookmarks". (I'm using Firefox 147.0.3 x86 on Windows 10 version 1709.) Fingers crossed that someone can help. THANKS!
