I've been using my banking site for many years on my desktop computer. Today the site comes up but when I try to log in I get a "404" error message. I tried logging in with Edge and there was no problem. I have deleted all my banking cookies on Mozilla and the result is the same. This is a major problem and I would appreciate any suggestions.

Made several posts about floating videos and never one answer over the course of two years that I can recall. One of the biggest user problems with FF and we get -- nothing. If the developers are incapable of solving this go ahead and tell us ! We can look for other browser options. I have researched everything to do with the matter and the topic just round and round and round in circles. Dozens claim to have the answer but they are all full of hooey. Simple question -- time to start looking for options other than FF ?

Preview is opened as default when printing. I prefer to use the system printing. How can I discard Preview? The printing task now takes more than a minute to access the printer. It all started since Preview was introduced as default! Meanwhile Firefox i locked and I can't do anything in Firefox.

I'd like to use keyboard media keys (play/pause, prev, next) to control Spotify web player and Youtube but they don't work. The option is enabled. I'm using Firefox 88.0 on Windows 8.1, so according to this article it should be supported. The keys work on other apps. I've tried in troubleshooting mode as well, no luck. Any ideas?

If I open Google Maps in Firefox, it shows I'm in Lubbock, Texas. I am not. I'm in Arizona. Google Maps on Chrome gets it right. Bing maps gets it wrong in Firefox but right in Chrome too. Same with Google Earth in the browser. My IP location is correct and shows I'm in AZ. It's seems to be a Firefox issue. I've turned location off and back on. Cleared cookies. I'm at a loss.

I use the Feedbro-Addon, which creates an own tab. Its url is: moz-extension://285d678c-ecb3-4003-923d-835fc9d8e0bc/reader.html

If I use it as a normal tab (instead of a pinned tab) ... it survives a Firefox restart. But if I use it as a pinned tab (which I want) ... it disappears after a Firefox restart.

I suppose it has to do with it being an addon-page instead of a "normal" page.

Is there a way to make it stay permanently pinned?

On some websites (e.g. the Guardian newspaper) Firefox displays graphics overlaying the text, making the page unreadable. Same page works fine in Chrome. Thoughts?

even when disabled my background colour keeps reverting to black in firefox I have disbled dark option in themes but it still reverts. I have set text to black and background to white.

 Only Firefox browser is logged in my Facebook account. Login and password  are not saved. If I loose session, account is gone. Please help view and save my password.

Several questions posted over several years about stopping floating videos. No credible responses. Please STOP ghosting me ! YES or NO ! It's one of the two ! If the competence at Mozilla doesn't exist, intestinal fortitude not present, interest, or there has been a bribe paid to ignore floating video issues -- please let me know ! Dear, I always have a lot of tabs opened and I guess I had one too many opened yesterday. Already I had to recover my settings after a crash the day before. So I had the crash and restarted the pc yesterday evening. All my tabs were gone, so I shut down the pc and started up again this morning and still no sign of restart or nothing of my tabs, history, all my Linux worksheets were completely empty accept for this page... I went to settings to restart the previous settings but it always does that automatically, and it only started the one I was in this morning (the empty one) I tried for a crash rapport but could not find one. How do I get everything back, please ?! I need to get the tabs back before this previous session! Please help... Where can I find them? What can I do? I can't have lost them all ... I will go nuts .. Please help me! My system is a Linux Mint 21.0 version, I think Thank you so much! Nadine

If I try to access https://bugs.cacert.org I get an error message: SSL_ERROR_EXPIRED_CERT_ALERT

If I access to the same site with chromium browser, there is no such error message, even more: I can access the certificate with the following information: valid until 2024 (see complete cert as picture).

Why this obviously wrong error message? How can it be circumvented (a warning might work, but a blockade?)?

My current FF version is 88.0 [64 bit]. Websites are flagging FF 88.0 as outdated. There is a 88.01 version shown as available. Latest available FF version is 93.0

Updating using the Help > About function does not show any available updates. Can someone please explain what is going on? Thanks.

I just installed Firefox to my laptop and noticed that Japanese characters are not working. I tried to change the language from english to japanese because I thought it would install the characters but didn't work and rolled back to english. I need to read japanese texts in webpages.... I also checked text decoding from settings > more > text decoding. Unicode is selected and I cannot change to anything else, it is unselectible. What should I do to be able to use the browser properly?

In the latest version (99.0 for 64-bit Windows), the "Send Page to Device" and "Send Tab to Device" commands in the right-click menus are gone. They were available up to at least 88.0.1. Where did they go?

How can I change the css of pages created by an addon?

I know how to change normal pages css via different tools like Stylus etc. (or via userContent.css). But this does not work for pages created by addons.

Can you please help me?

So after 13 years, Mozilla has changed the shortcut for "Copy link" from A to L.

This is an INSANE move! Copying links isn't some obscure power command, it's a basic, everyday function that everyone needs to use. Who doesn't have to copy URL links from time to time?

Moving the key to L makes the shortcut so much more difficult to use now. You're required to move your left hand a long way, and look down at the keys. It takes forever and interrupts the flow of browsing the web. It's stupid. Why not change the key to C? Isn't that logical?

I wish I could give Mozilla feedback about this, but sadly I can't.

Can someone please tell me how to change this back WITHOUT installing an extension. If Mozilla have just suddenly changed this key without even giving users an option to change it back, that is terrible.

I downloaded the new version, 89.0.2, not realizing how really horrible it is. Since, trying to return to the old version (88.0.1), I've managed to delete my entire firefox directory, and have to reinstall FF from scratch. I've lost all history and bookmarks for the past 10 years. I can get by that. But, how do I set a photo from my pictures library to my FF homepage? Thanks for any relevant responses.

I used to run Firefox 88.0.1 (64 bit) on a Windows 7 PC. With lots of help from this forum I wrote a userchrome.css file to make several changes to the appearance.

On a new Windows 10 machine I installed the same version of Firefox (since I don't care for the latest one). I added my old profle to the new installation and selected it as the default.

Unfortunately, when I opened the program I was prompted to create a new profile; there didn't seem to be any way around this. So I let it happen and tried simply copying my old chrome folder into it - I thought at least I could make the visual changes even if I couldn't import my bookmarks and so on.

But this didn't work either: when I run the program, none of the expected changes are there.

Presumably I've done something wrong, but what, exactly? I'd be grateful for any thoughts. Ideally, I'd like to use the whole of the old Win7 profile but if that's not possible at least changing the appearance would be pleasant.
