Hello,

Fireox has opened for me for years, but now it won't open! I get this error message: Secure Connection Failed

<An error occurred during a connection to package.onesearch.org. Peer’s Certificate has been revoked.

Error code: SEC_ERROR_REVOKED_CERTIFICATE

The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.>

I can see the package.onesearch.org site trying to open BEFORE Firefox, but I am NOT trying to open it! I never even heard of it! Why would a site open at the same time as Firefox?

How do I delete package.onesearch.org from the opening? It is not in my bookmarks.

Thanks for your help.

Hi, I get the below error message when trying to login to visma.net (for work).

json.parse unexpected character at line 1 column 1 of the JSON data

On this note I have a previous error, loggin in to this site that was fixed by a support member (• accessibility.blockautorefresh = false), but I have the above hurdle left. I can get past it by clicking backspace but thought there might be a better solution - maybe some other setting I can adjust similar to the first fix I got help with.

The web address for this error message shows as: https://api.home.visma.com/home/rest/sso/login

Somewhere around FF 86, the print preview was broken so one only gets a tiny, unreadable print preview. For a while, print.tab_modal.enabled = classic experience (false) worked. Sometime in the last few months, that was taken away and no longer works. How now do we get a print preview big enough to see and make our choices about things like scale?

I note that I run Windows 8.1 (up-to-date), Radeon HD graphics, 1280 x 1024 monitor.

Where or to whom can I send a request / recommendation / beg to get the Firefox browser actually to change something? I know what the community will say -- asked and answered. And no disrespect to the community at all -- it's very valuable and has been helpful to me -- but I am interested in putting this request before someone at Mozilla / Firefox who actually has the authority to decide it and do it.

FYI, not to be too mysterious about it, I think the Privacy & Security setting on Notifications would be improved by putting in a permanent option to let a user stop notifications when he or she has taken a screen shot. Allowing it to be paused now requires the user to go back in and change the setting each time he or she opens Firefox. For me, that's dozens of times a day.

On a broader scale, why not give the user the option permanently? We are, I hope, a land and community of people who prefer choice over mandates, even partial ones, when the substance of the choice or mandate does not pose a risk to others.

Thanks.

Is there any clear way to prevent Firefox from automatically downloading and installing updates? I had checked the setting to prevent it being done without my choosing to do so: "Check for updates but let you choose to install them" but Firefox did not comply. What can a user do if Firefox will not comply with its own settings?

In government it's called autocracy, elitism and the only ones who like it are the ones in charge. Is that what's going on with Firefox?

Hello, I have intermittent problems of not receiving certain emails on my Commander.net.au server. For reasons unknown emails which contain documents such as newsletters or greeting cards do not arrive in my email account. I have checked with the sender and they have definitely been sent to the correct address but never arrive. Commander claim there is no firewall to prevent this from happening. Is there a Firefox firewall that is stopping these emails?? Many thanks, Steve

"Sorry, the video player failed to load.(Error Code: 101104)" - this error message happens on some sites but not others. I believe there are more than one type of streaming transmission but do not know how to determine which is failing. For example, the streaming daily report on Democracynow.org fails while the reports on http://www.bbc.com/news/video_and_audio/international does not. This has been a problem for weeks now. I view both of these sites every day but must now use Microsoft Edge (ugh) to view democracynow.org.

Prior to the last two <Firefox> updates (too many, too frequently!), no problem. Both keyboard and mouse were recognized. Since then, only the mouse, although everything's fine when I use Chrome.

Yes, I'm on the latest version, and have cleared caches and rebooted ... after every new version.

Definition: “Click allow to confirm that you are not a robot” is a rogue website, which shows unwanted pop-ups and ads in the browser. Moreover, it redirects users’ tabs to other malicious websites that also threaten the security of your browser. Usually, the infection occurs after you visited and even clicked on suspicious websites. Of course, torrent downloads might also allow adware install on your computer. So, if you notice the same rogue website appearing even when surfing on a legitimate one, the adware is on your computer. When browser problems occur, it is also usually the case that viruses are on your computer. To appear legitimate, the app can pose as a way to improve surfing experience. Or, it may display alerts about a potential system infections. So, the software pretends to assist users in the removal of those infections. Of course, cybercriminals developed it with a clear purpose: their interest is to gain profit from affiliates. And they try to reach their goal by delivering intrusive ads and redirections to the website visitors. But they do not stop here. The malware can even change the browser’s settings and also illegally track users’ web activities. Ref: https://www.internetsecurity.tips/how-to-remove-click-allow-if-you-are-not-a-robot-pop-ups/#:~:text=%E2%80%9CClick%20allow%20to%20confirm%20that%20you%20are%20not,you%20visited%20and%20even%20clicked%20on%20suspicious%20websites.

I tried to follow these Instructions How to remove this adware

1 Run the browser on your PC and go to its Settings (the three dots or three horizontal lines in the menu)
2 Expand the Privacy and Security options, in the left panel.
3 Access Site Settings in the menu that opens.
4 In the provided list, identify the adware by its name.
5 Click on it.
6 Set Notifications, Pop-ups and ads to Block.

These instructions do not correlate to Fox Browser -- How can I get rid of this pop-up on Fox Browser? Any Suggestions? I am running Windows 8.1 and Windows Defender does not seem to find this Adware. Is there a way to find it? By the way, "There is no 'Click Allow' to click . . . . ."
