Everything was fine until about an hour ago. Suddenly over half My tabs quit working. Either the display is weird and all text, or the page is blank, or there is a small "broken image" icon in the upper left... A few tabs are working fine. On X I get a notice saying, "Firefox’s Enhanced Tracking Protection (Strict Mode) is known to cause issues on x.com."

I tried turning off tracking (which was NOT "strict!!!"), and that did not fix the problem.

What is going one????

There are two images here the one in green is Firefox the other in Chrome.

One of these is loading correctly and one is trashing the image layout.

It is something that Firefox is doing to the images...

CSS and or Styles tell Firefox what to do and Firefox is not doing it???

What can I do to render these in Firefox the way Chrome renders them?

Any help to fix this would be much appreciated

I have tried restarting both firefox and my computer, disabled all extensions and started firefox in safe mode. When I try to right click on a firefox window from the taskbar it just disappears.

I have my computer connected to my TV so often when I open it up some windows will be on my TV which is behind my desk so its a pain to move them back without this function.

Why does attempt at loading a UK Government web page (https://vehicleenquiry.service.gov.uk/) produce a "Secure connectionn failed - Error code: PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR" message?

I managed to load the same web page by using Chrome.

I would like to rename profile in roaming and local dirs for windows, but after I do it, addons are no longer visible in firefox. I guess I am missing something. What else do I have to do, when renaming profile dirs?

I've added https://x.com as an exception site but it is still blocked.

After 2 days it used to finally load without my doing anything, but not now. I never loads using Firefox.

https://x.com is added as an exception, but obviously ignored.

Tried You can reload webpage(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.

Tried: Clear the Cache and remove the Cookies for websites that cause problems via the "3-bar" Firefox menu button (Settings), click the padlock icon (Clear cookies and site data) for the domain in the selected tab.

"Remove the Cookies" for websites that cause problems:

Start Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration or if userChrome.css/userContent.css is causing the problem.

   switch to the Default System theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Themes
   do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Troubleshoot Mode start window

You can check for issues with Enhanced Tracking Protection. Firefox shows a purple shield instead of a gray shield at the left end of the location/address bar in case Enhanced Tracking Protection is blocking content.

   click the shield icon for more detail and possibly disable the protection 

the sheild has a slash thru it saying "enhanced tracking is off for this site" when i put my mouse over it.

The integrated webcam (IMC Networks Integrated Camera, according to lsusb) on my linux laptop does not work in firefox (v124). It works in desktop apps (eg webcamoid), and chromium. I've checked the permissions (about:preferences#privacy), and that is not the problem. about:support does not list the device in the input at all. I've tried using LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib64/libv4l/libv4l1compat.so, but that has not helped. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hi. i ran into a broken problem. sometimes when i bootup my pc and start the firefox, My windows crashes immediately. what shuld i do and how i can send the firefox log files to mozilla team?

Okay, I give up. So, Facebook is or has implemented this Turn on two-factor authentication or whatever it is. What this means for me at the moment is that I am unable to access my Facebook account as it is now forcing me to use this Two-factor authentication thingie, despite that I do not have a mobile phone. (yes, I know it's unusual in this day of age not to have one. I did have one at one time, but for the moment I have no interest in getting another one). I would rather use my laptop anyway.

Doesn't Firefox have a Two-factor Authentication thing that I can use with Facebook? Without a mobile phone using the Firefox browser on a computer or laptop?

Now, from what I can see, Facebook is offering 3 ways of doing this. #1) Authentication app, like Google Authenticator or Duo Mobile. #2) Text message (SMS). #3) Security Key. So, because I do not use or have a mobile phone, I was guessing that my option would only be #1 Authentication app, like Google Authenticator ... which I have never used before, and while reading up on it, I keep reading that I can only use it with the Google Chrome browser?!? If that wasn't bad enough, I typically use Microsoft Outlook, not Gmail. So, I am at a loss at this point.

Again, I do not have a mobile phone. Doesn't Firefox have a Two-factor Authentication thing that I can use with Facebook? Without a mobile phone using the Firefox browser on a computer or laptop?

I have not been working for a while this is because I have been recently been told I have Altzimers and I don't have long to live. At the moment My head is not thinking as it shouldn't be and is all over the place . My signup for the original orders was accompanied with the payment for 1 years subscription. then I was blocked by yourselves(which I managed to clear) Then you kept sending me a message that was the same as the previous one I got so fed up I paid again.But the message started again and eventually I paid again. I managed to get a contact address and contacted you by email. All I can do in the short term is to Get the details of payments and send it to you and hope we can sort it out.

Switched on my laptop today and all open tabs in Firefox only showing web pages in text format, not images, graphics. Have restarted Firefox, rebooted laptop, cleared cache/data, checked latest version. Not touched any setting and Edge works fine with same sites. After using Firefox as by preferred browser for many years it looks like I need to find an alternative which makes me sad.
