Hi -- I'm getting quite a few page crashes that seem mostly tied to YouTube, although not exclusively. I only recently swapped over to Firefox from Chrome because I was having similar crashing issues with that browser as well. This is after a fresh install of Windows 11 Pro and a number of different benchmark tests (no known issues with CPU, GPU, or RAM).
Since there are so many reports that all seem different, could someone help troubleshoot? I really can't tell if it's a browser problem, maybe something with my MOBO or PSU or other hardware.

It happened again a few minutes ago while watching Star Trek First Contact. The Phoenix was about to go to warp and Firefox CTD with no crash reporter and when I looked in about:crashes there was no crash report. This exact situation happened twice while watching the movie Signal unknown or whatever the title is.
I believe this problem is caused by a false crash recovery loop, every time I open firefox it'll close again and then give me an annoying red striped address bar. I'm sur… (read more)

I have tried to disable hardware acceleration but it didnt help.

Today when it was very important I ha access to my patient portals, FF decided to crash all tabs. What was the reason for that? I had to spend 30 minutes trying to get back on line while I am attending to a sick patient here at home. FF also wants to update in the middle of the day but I am never notified of it. Instead everything locks up and I have no clue why. I hope you can do something about that! Like maybe let me know that FF needs updating before it locks up, crashes, etc.

Hello. I had been experiencing a lot of freezes, hang ups, and disconnectivity with crash messages asking me to either restart Firefox, or quit firefox ! I finally just recently downloaded again from your website and in order to function it defaulted to Safe Mode. How do I correct this ? Note: The website is currently operational but not at 100% ! When in Settings nothing can be done and it advises that it's because it's in Safe Mode ! How do I correct this ?

When I close a video site tab, Firefox freezes and becomes unresponsive. After restarting Firefox from a force quit, I sometimes see a message like: “Bookmarks may not be visible or things may not look normal. Another instance of Firefox is running.” (I don’t remember the exact wording.) In that case, my bookmarks look like they are missing. If I close Firefox again and restart it, the bookmarks reappear, but I am logged out of every site and have to add all my accounts again from the beginning.
This means I have to log back into every single account again, like YouTube and others, which is very inconvenient.
I’ve been using Firefox for over 10 years, and I’ve never experienced this problem before. It doesn’t happen all the time, but it occurs periodically — sometimes every few days, sometimes every few weeks. This never used to happen in the past.
Please, I really need help with this issue. If I back up my cookies beforehand, would restoring them after such a crash bring everything back to normal?
