Hello, I was reinstalling my OS, and I didn't create recovery code for my data to retrieve it after (which I found out after reinstalling my OS) on my Mozilla Firefox account, I had a lot of passwords, bookmarks and data that I need to recover, also for my full time job a lot of valuable data which I have lost now. I couldn't find any email address so I can address my concern directly, It's why I am posting here. Please help, I am so lost now. I can also provide you with any information needed, just let me know.

Seems as if Firefox is updating every other day lately. I have Dashlane on my tool bar, and it seems to freeze/disable after every update. When I open Dashlane separately in the browser and log in, it congratulates me on installing it on a new device. What is Firefox changing with its updates that makes my computer look different to Dashlane? I cannot find the Dashlane version running but I do have it on automatically update.

Before I took my computer to a repair facility and had to reinstall Firefox, my recent activity bar had all the websites I use and wanted quick access to along one lovely line. Now I have a bunch of "suggested" crap Firefox must be getting paid for along my recent activity bar. I've never visited these pages and selecting the menu trying to dismiss them doesn't work. How do I eliminate the sponsored sites and get what I want along the recent activity bar?

I am currently creating a website in WordPress. It has many embedded YouTube videos.

On pages with embedded YouTube videos, in order to go back to the previous page, I have to click the Back button multiple times. If I right-click on the back button, I see that the page I am currently on has been listed multiple times.

Many other support questions list this issue. I have found that if I disable "Site Isolation" (URL about:config -> set fission.autostart to false -> restart Firefox), the issue goes away.

I am interested, however, in the user experience for those who will go to my site. Is there anything I can do so that "Site Isolation" does not cause this problem?

I used to sign in to my credit card through Elan Financial Services and then I would highlight my credit card, tell it the date range I needed to update to Quicken, and hit enter. a popup would give me the option of opening the file or to save the quicken file to my computer. I would select the option to open the file and it would update my register on Quicken. Now, I only get the option to save the file to my computer. On Microsoft Edge, I still get the choice to open or save the file. Why doesn't Firefox support the Open Function anymore. I use Firefox for everything, but now I have to remember to switch to Edge for this one important update. Is this a change in Firefox or something I have to deal with Elan on? Every time I log in or refresh outlook, I get an email ad for outlook upgrade. It is from microsoft, and can be opened as an email, but it is an ad and can't be blocked. These emails remain blocked with Brave, and I am running an ad blocker. Will mozilla update to remove these ads, or is there an ad blocker that works better with Mozilla. When I inspect it, the first line shows:-

I got mad at a website that wouldn't let me right click menu to save pictures, so I stubbornly saved them via less efficient means, in the process I picked up the Long Screenshot extension and this had an error shortly before or after I had an issue with Lightshot not appearing, other extensions did not appear either when I added them during this time period, but now these all appear with the exception of Lightshot, which gets deleted and reinstalled only to not appear, that of course being the problem, though I will also say that a right click menu not being there is like reaching onto my computer and pulling my finger away, sites that do that should be given the cold shoulder somehow, at least.

I am sick of the unannounced updates that occur without prompting me. Edge doesn't do this and I'm fed up with Mozilla unannounced updates. Going to uninstall Firefox because of unannounced updates.

suddenly Firefox is blocking my entry to a specific site with the measage "Log on error. You need to enable cookies in your browser to logon to Internet Banking." I have tried umpteen ways around this to no avail. Google Chrome does not have this problem!! I am using version 100.0.2

I mistakenly blocked a website that I use all the time this morning. I am not getting a big red exclamation point and it says Restricted Access. I need to regain access to this site as I use it daily for business. Help! Thanks.

The "Latest Tweets" header on twitter has recently started automatically scrolling and blocking whatever is shown on screen.

If I try to tweet, the screen appears to split and it is not possible to see the actual Tweet edit and post screen and the screen locks not able to move up or down.

This has only started in the past few days.

Can you help me to disable to scrolling of the sticky header?

mazdausa.com won't fully display. I just updated to version 100 (woohoo) and tried looking in troubleshooting mode, still no luck. The middle of the page where the car (picture) is supposed to show up is blank. The rest of the site loads.

I was just updated to version 100 and now the background in the sites I visit, ebay for example, are totally black where they used to be white. I've set my firefox theme to "light" as recommended in another thread, restarted my computer, but to no avail. I now have a light background/black letter tab bar but every site is black where it used to be white. Thanks for a simple answer, I'm not highly technically skilled.

Hi, I need to update my credit card details for my monthly donation to Mozilla but I cn't find out how to do it. I can't find a way from my Firefox user account to do it. Clicking on the only link I can find to Donate just throws a 403 error. Clicking on a link to help for Mozilla Donate does the same thing. Please email me advise how I can do this. Thanks, Andrew

I don't mean "saving" login information for later use, that I do not want to do. What I mean by the login not being retained is that when I log-in to a website like say Amazon, while I'm browsing, I end up having to re-enter my login information pretty much every other time that I switch between pages. I've never had an issue like that with any other browser. Is there some setting I need to adjust to stop that from happening? As I said, I'm not looking to save my passwords and usernames within the browser, I just want to effectively browse a website after logging into it without needing to login every time I move between pages. I would like to stop the default behavior of firefox displaying in the tab that contains my GMail how many unread GMail messages there are -- in other words to delete "(9)" from the attached photo and never have the count displayed -- if it could instead simply say "Inbox - xxx@gmail.com"

I go to Norton, sign in, then go to another sigh-in button and the screen just flashes. Click it several times and just see the screen flash. Norton logged in remotely and went through some hoops but they came up with the same thing. Cleared the cache, history, no-go. They tell me that is is a problem with Firefox and not them. (and recommended an expensive organization to get help from) This is a computer I just reset to factory and reinstalled completely. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks!
