I used to be able to drag a tab from one window to another. Has this facility been removed? The Move option lets me move the tab to Start or New window, but not an existing window as I would like.

So I have this habbit I love which is opening a link on a new tab, then continue browsing the content on my old tab until the new one loads, or when I am done reading through it. Recently, firefox has been switching automatically to the new tab once it loads, which interrupts my workflow/reading a lot.

Is there a way I can stop this or turn this feature off? I believe I start experiencing this after an update.

There's pics included that hopefully explains it, but essentially whenever i try to highlight a text and afterwards scroll down, the highlight bugs out. It seems to be happening only on powerpoint slides that have been converted to pdf. I have tried disabling hardware acceleration on firefox, but it didnt help.

I used this a lot, but now cannot find it on any toolbar. I've added no software or made any changes in the interim. I was hospitalized from 1/10 to 1/31, and didn't use my computer in that period. I updated Firefox, and still can't find the control.

I hope this message finds you well. I would like to suggest a small but useful enhancement to the Firefox interface that I believe would improve user experience and accessibility.

Currently, in the "Customize Sidebar" section, the available tools are limited to a few items such as AI Chat, Tabs from Other Devices, History, and Bookmarks. I believe it would be very helpful to include "Downloads" as an additional sidebar tool.

This would allow users to quickly access their recent downloads without needing to go through the menu or use shortcuts. It adds convenience and aligns well with the purpose of the sidebar — offering quick access to frequently used features.

since i downloaded Firefox 135, my mouse wheel defaults to one line at a time and no matter how many times i change it defaults to one line at a time at the next startup.

How do you mess up the context menu this badly? None of the items work and its the same on every page. I am starting to wonder if Mozilla even tests the release before pushing it out.

(btw my browser is Firefox Nightly) Don't get me wrong, I love having vertical tabs. It's less busy than the horizontal tabs and I can look through my tabs more quickly. But, the way it's implemented sucks - It makes the layout of the webpage pop anytime I use it; there is no keyboard button attached to opening and closing the tab (I have to go through my horizontal bar to open my vertical bar); and recently my browser forgets the sidebar settings, meaning I have to re-check the "Hide tabs and sidebar" setting.

Bonus request Can the sidebar just go over the webpage (i.e. like the application menu) instead of squishing it? I'm ok with having some webpage features temporarily covered if it means I don't have to see the screen pop into a new rectangular shape every time I switch tabs.

I have no use for it, I constantly missclick and I've tried multiple methods to remove and hide it. I even tried to get rid of it by editing userChrome.css but that got me nowhere.

How can mouse hover be disabled? On some websites (e.g. gva.be) when you hover (unintentionally) over some link, then this link is opened as if you had clicked on it.

How can this be disabled? I searched in about:config for mouse hover but I couldn't find anything relevant. Or do I need an extension to disable this behaviour?

For the Life of me, I cannot Figure-out how to drag-and-drop websites from the Address bar, to the Desktop on the Computer. I tried dragging the Padlock didn't work. I tried dragging the Shield didn't work. Tried even dragging the whole URL. and even made bookmarks with the Link just to try it.

What am I missing? Wracking my brain trying to Figure-out the Conundrum
