I've just gone through having to reinstall windows due to 24H2 and I've got Firefox back thankfully.

My problem is that the sync account has created another device name (as I hadn't restarted after renaming the computer).

Can I get my old device profile back and discard the new one?

Can I just uninstall firefox then reinstall now the computer has been renamed after a restart?

Hi I have used two computers for different purposes and places, but have had the same account with passwords synchronized on both machines. I would like to synchronize everything - especially bookmarks and payment methods - on the machines. My question is: what happens if I 'just' set synchronization active in all sections on both machines? Is one of the machines considered the 'master' machine, so its 'content' is synchronized to the other, so that content that was not on the 'master' machine is deleted? Or is everything preserved, so I have all content from both machines on both machines? Where can I possibly find more detailed information about this? Thanks in advance.

I am a noob with Firefox jumping over from Chrome. I use tabs a lot and it would be helpful if tabs were synced across browsers. I am really enjoying Mozilla and the performance is great. Thanks. Steve

Running Win11 on desktop PC. Sync option offers QR code to scan but Firefox on android does not have sync scan option on settings. Despite instructions to contrary, that option is not listed on mobile. Yes I'm logged in and yes I have synced previous versions of firefox

Hi! I bought a second MacBook, but cannot find any accurate instructions for adding it as one of my devices.

On the MacBook, I get the QR code page, but nowhere in the phone is the supposed "Sync" page to scan that code. I literally looked in every single area that I could. These are the instructions:

Sync Firefox on your phone or tablet 1. Open Firefox on your mobile device. 2. Go to the menu ( on iOS or on Android) and tap Sync and save data 3. Tap Ready to Scan and hold your phone over this code

There is "Sync now," but that is only syncing to the old laptop.

I logged out and back in on the new MacBook, and now it shows in Firefox on it and my iPhone (Connected Services), but now the old MacBook is no longer in the device list on either the new one or the phone.

It would be so much easier to just have an obvious "Add a device" button.

Basically, I was hoping to find a SHARE option for my Android Firefox.

How can I get my bookmarks from all devices shared by all devices? I have changed phones and even clicking the sync button I still have none of bookbook marks available from my previous devices How do I retrieve my bookmarks

I don't know exactly which topic my question belongs in so here it is: When I change my home page on my computer in my bed room, it also changes my home page in my office. The home page in my office will not come up on my computer in my bedroom. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Is there a way to restore a previous window's open tabs from the sync data? I can visualize the device B's tabs but I don't know where to see where device A's went when I restarted the laptop (which doesn't usually lose all of my tabs).

I see a list of the my seven devices that use FireFox in the Connected Services list. I want to restore the data from my old phone onto my NEW phone. However, there doesn't appear to be a way to sync only the data from the old phone. When it syncs, it get the data from one of my 4 PCs. Can I select a data set to restore to my new phone?
