This has been going for a couple of days.

I have tried starting in safe mode, didn't help.

I have tried disabling JavaScript, didn't help.

Two "main sites" affected, Feedly and Gmail. Feedly had this problem but it disappeared after a while. Now Gmail is having problems. I can move around and read mails but not respond to them.

Other sites affected "seems" to have in common that they are blog-type, perhaps like WordPress or similar.

I have a Windows 10 computer with the same browser setup and there have been no problems there so far.

The version is 86.0.1 (64-bit).

I'm not technically advanced so please be gentle with me.

The issue's been going on since yesterday, the app will freeze up like it's about to crash, but then it'll just pop back up. It does it repeatedly and nothing I've done has fixed it, from restarting my computer to closing the browser. Its only gotten worse and I haven't been able to find any relevant information on how to fix this.

Any suggestions? Otherwise, I think that I may need to dump FireFox.  :-(

I just stopped using Chrome because they insisted on spamming me in-app. I do NOT want to get spammed about "features" I couldn't care less about - especially when they show how little they respect me by forcing it on me.

So Failfox is doing the same thing? Forcing the "What's new" AD on me? I do not want it. I will quit using Forcefox if this is their philosophy. Help me remove this SPAM or I'll go find another browser.

For goodness sake, how much longer until every TOS and EULA simply says "You're a slave, shut up or die."?

Firefox 86 for Windows gets a beautiful new Print dialog, with great Print Preview and other functionality. The Mac? Nope!

And there is no technical reason for this! Chrome/Vivaldi/Brave all have a similar dialog box that makes it easy not to waste paper when a website insists on printing a second page for a single word.

Come on, Mozilla! A little feature parity would be nice – especially for such basic functionality!

It was working when the retention system was keeping the entirety of the URL for which I was providing my username and password. It has since been changed so that it drops the last KEYWORD from the URL and now it won't autofill and stupidly demands that I "copy" each of the parts of the login independently from the "logins and passwords" page where the URL has been wrongfully shortened. This is on Firefox v86.0.1 that the botching of the formerly functional login retention procedure occurred. In any event, having to bop back and forth between the login page and the "logins and passwords" page is stupidly requiring vastly more time than simply retyping the entire information into the actual login. Can this NEW BUG be fixed?

When I mistakenly delete a tab I would like to me able to restore it. If it does not already exist, it could be added to the Firefox menu. When I have many tabs open, sometimes I would like to open yet another tab and I mistakenly delete the last tab rather than clicking on +. This might be because the + is not bright white and seems a bit gray, or because I have so many tabs open the delete sign X does not appear.

I recently reinstalled firefox on Windows 10 and see that the ">>" button with More Tools is disabled when I edit the toolbars. Now I have to move additional plugins to a "Hiding menu" which basically is the Bookmarks menu. I want to see my bookmarks always and do do not want to see additional plugins always as they distract me. I've always hid them in ">>" button and this was perfect for me.

How to reenable the hiding functionality?
