Does the Network Monitoring component of the Firefox Developer Tools have a way to preserve its log upon navigation (which would otherwise be cleared), similar to the Chrome or Safari Developer Tools "Preserve log upon navigation" button?
I've tried checking the "Enable persistent logs" option for the Web Console in settings, but it does not appear to affect the Network Monitoring tab. I also didn't see any bugs filed for it, so I just wanted to make sure I wasn't overlooking something obvious.
Thanks, Kevin

For a while, Mozilla Firefox 24.0 on my PC does not show youtube videos. I tried all solution methods which are upgrading adobe flash player, reset of the browser, uninstall and re-install the firefox but the problem remains. When I opened the youtube and click a video firefox shows it about 2-3 seconds and after it flash player pop ups an error says "An error occurred, please try again later.". I tried almost everything to fix this issue however, I could not succeed.

This Connection is Untrusted
You have asked Firefox to connect securely to www.google.com, but we can't confirm that your connection is secure.
Normally, when you try to connect securely, sites will present trusted identification to prove that you are going to the right place. However, this site's identity can't be verified. What Should I Do?
If you usually connect to this site without problems, this error could mean that someone is trying to impersonate the site, and you shouldn't continue.

Some text on different websites appear blurry or distorted since I installed Windows 8.1. Passing the mouse cursor above the text or scrolling will usually solve the problem temporarily.
I'm starting a new thread on this because it appears to be associated with the new operating system and not any newer version of Firefox.
Any suggestions would be welcome.
Thanks.

I always check "remember me" and "save this password" yet sites like Facebook, Google+ and many others keep logging me out, at *least* every other day and sometimes multiple times a day, so I have to login all over again- today I had the frustration of being logged out of a forum with each refresh of a page! (I'm logged in, hit "reply" and suddenly, "sorry you must login to do that!" HUH?)
I dont care if cookies never expire, and no one else but my husband has access to my computer and we know each other's passwords anyway.
I am hoping I can fix this without either reinstalling firefox or deleting the profile, because I have a pretty large bookmark file and about 9 add ons to reinstall, plus various plug ins!
I am starting to suspect its related to running out of cache space- sites can't seem to remember me when the cache is full?! , since its frequently at max (it was saying 350 max, now it says 500), I clear the cache whenever I notice its full. I did not clear it today until after it logged me out multiple times.

I have gone through all of the Mozilla steps for fixing the problem, such as Troubleshooting, Reset Firefox, going to Start Menu>Control Panel>Taskbar properties.
The thing is, on the "Taskbar appearance" tab, there is no box to click that says anything like "Keep taskbar on top of all screens."
I also have seen something about an .rdf(?) file. I have no idea where to find that...

every time I open a web page with Firefox I am either redirected to rvzr-a.akamaihd.net or am bombarded with ads that wants me to download an updated media player. I have worked with Avast support and even after de-installing and re-installing Firefox and rebooting with boot time scan and using CCclener and Malwarebytes to get rid of malware as well as removing lines of code from windows system32>drivers>>etx>host, the virus comes back. The only way to use Firefox is to restart Firefox in SAFE MODE.

So I am having exactly the same problem as this: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/959280
In short, I updated firefox and now new tabs always open with a bing search. The url that keeps opening is: search.conduit.com/?ctid=CT3312375&octid=EB_ORIGINAL_CTID&SearchSource=69&CUI=&SSPV=EB_SSPV&Lay=1&UM=2&UP=SP634F83D9-5B86-4960-A131-4A6C35FD668C
I'm quite sure this isn't a problem with any add ons. I've disabled all that could possible affect it.
I've tried to use the suggestion of the top reply but in the about:config section I don't have a searchinnewtabeenabledbyuser preference name. I've looked at all the other "newtab" related preferences names and done what the original replier said (type false into the value section) but it hasn't worked! There's a preference name called browser.newtab.url with the url that is opening in each new tab as the "value" but every time I try to change it, it just reverts back to that url.
I would so appreciate if someone would help me. I hate Bing!!!! Even more so now that they've pulled this crap.

I have a windows 7 64-bit computer. I am using firefox 24, flash player 11.9.900.117; whenever I try to load a page (such as facebook) which involves flash player, I am able to watch the videos, but I repeatedly get the error message:
FlashPlayerPlugin_11_9_900_117.exe - Application Error
The exception unknown software exception(0xc0000710) occured in the application at location 0x7794a389. Click on Okay to terminate the program.
I cannot even mouse over the box containing this error. It is quite annoying and quite frequent. I have checked and my flash plugin for firefox is up to date and not disabled. Please reply with any relevant information.

I don't know if this is an issue with Facebook, or an issue with Firefox (maybe someone more "in the know" could tell me), but regardless...
I have had issues TWICE THIS WEEK with Firefox not loading Facebook. While it is easily solvable by resetting Firefox, it is a tad annoying/frustrating to have to re-install my add-ons after the fact.
This isn't an issue with my computer or internet connection though. If I go on Chrome while Firefox is still refusing to load Facebook, Facebook will load just fine on Chrome.
I am currently not having this problem with any other sites. Just Facebook.
EDIT: All things are current on my browser.

I always use Google as my firefox search engine. However i must have accidentally downloaded a file that has now set up search-gol as my search engine and i want to get rid of it. Info to do this strangely doesn't appear anywhere on google searches. Mozilla says to go into addons/extensions etc but the search engine isn't listed anywhere. I have also unistalled any programmes that i have recently downloaded but this search-gol think won't go. I am worried about uninstalling firefox and reinstalling it as i have about 500 favourites and i don't want to lose them and my current browsing session. Can anyone tell me how to get rid of this annoying search engine rubbish? Thanks
