Something's wrong with my Tumblr. When Firefox crashed before it updated, my Tumblr has completely broke (It won't show any notifcations that someone posted, the activity is stuck at 2 and community at 6). PLEASE HELP

Hi I just saw the new info on backing up my Firefox data. It sounded good, so I tried it. However I do not see 'Manage Backup'. Instead it asks 'Choose backup file'. I have never knowingly backed up Firefox, so I do not know where this backupfile is located... How can I find it? How do I create a new backup file? Many thanks An

Im entering the email and password i swear dozens of times every day...it never works right, ALWAYS need one or both lines filled in.  I DONT CARE IF IT DOESNT WANT ME TO SAVE THE PASSWORD. GOD KNOWS its NOT retaining it!  OK, im 75 years old. HAVE I LOST MY MARBLES?

How do I keep my menu bar showing after the last updates of 147.0? F10 is only temporary as I click or type it vanishes again. The customize toolbar wasn't helpful. I want words not symbols.

I opened FF this afternoon and it op0end like a new first time install- asking about setting up some damn profiles and showing news, AI, weather and crap I do not want or use..

I can not seem to restore it. All bookmarks, PW, menu bars and links are now gone.

I've got a new SSD and have reinstalled Firefox as my browser. In the past I've had the address field on the left and the search field to its right. I can get the search field on the same level as the address field but have not been able to switch their locations.

I have attached a screen shot of that section of my browser home page.

I thank you for whatever suggestions or guidance anyone can give.

My friend recommended this browser to me. When I tried to customize it, I couldn't find an option to change the hotkeys to my preference. I consider this feature important since I use it for work. Can I do this somehow, and is there any plan to add such a feature to the settings?

Firefox update today 1-14-26 says Restore FF with a backup file" Instructions say go to Settings/Sync/Backup/Manage Backup. My Sync has no Backup option, only shows: Sync Manage account Device Name Syncing: ON You are syncing these items across all your connected devices: Bookmarks Open tabs Add-ons Settings Connect another device . How to proceed?

(I don't recall setting Syncing to "On" before; it also showed me as automatically logged in to my account.) Assistance appreciated! Thanks!

I recovered my account using a backup code and set a new password. Two-step authentication is enabled but I don’t have the linked TOTP app. The settings UI does not allow disabling 2FA and does not offer backup code input. I still have unused 10-character backup recovery codes. Please advise.

My emails used to display in date order but since a Mozilla upgrade they are now grouped as Today, Yesterday and Last Week. Is there a setting to alter this back to one list in date order please?

First I tried all the suggestions I could find. And FF just kept double filling the password. So I did a completely fresh FF install to a separate folder with no cookies or passwords or anything saved, and never any extensions installed. Still double fills the password -- which makes it impossible to log in. I am using FF Portable, and tried both the latest version and an older version. What could possibly be doing this?

I've been using Firefox for a while, and while there are many things I like about it, it has always been a resource hog. In the past I could get around this by just killing Firefox in Windows Resource Manager and restarting, but ever since getting a new computer an upgrading to Windows 11, it's gotten worse. Every couple of days my computer freezes for 10 or more minutes, I'm having to do a hard reboot ever few days, and I'm even bluescreening about twice a month. I'm pretty sure Firefox is the culprit because killing it will usually resolve the issue.

I'm wondering if there is some way to put Firefox in a sandbox so it does not consume nearly all available memory and other computer resources. It is by far the biggest consumer of resources on my system and I do not want to dedicate 4GB+ of memory to an app that is just showing a couple of web pages and playing YouTube videos.

When I try to access a function of my banks website I get the message: Authorization has been denied for this request

Late last year this occurred when using FireFox but not Chome or Edge. I have contacted my bank and was told I need to add an exception to the Manage Exceptions list. I did that and I was able to access that function of the site. Now the error is occurring again. This time I figured out what the URL was that needed be added. All other functions of the site work fine without these exceptions.

My question is: what are the security ramifications of this and what do I tell my bank so they fix this? Does this make their site less or more secure? Is it necessary to fix this?

Windows 11; FF 146.0.1. All updates installed.

I have never ever had a problem getting into my bank account until this evening.

Says it is insecure.

How can this happen? I really need to get into my account!
