Up to 126.0b9, files with encoded URLs in their filenames downloaded normally. As of 127 onward, however, it gets changed to _3A instead of %3A, etc. Is there a setting somewhere in config to revert this?

Example:

Supposed to be: test [sound=https%3A%2F%2Ffiles.catbox.moe%2Fe547nk.mp3].png Downloads as: test [sound=https_3A_2F_2Ffiles.catbox.moe_2Fe547nk.mp3].png

Apologies if I haven't described this very well. After loading a page on Firefox, loading the next one and any further ones could just be typed over the previous one as many times as you needed. Not any more, if I try typing in a new address nothing happens and I have to cancel and load Firefox again. Never used to be like this, can anyone help please?

Firefox locking up today 07/31/2024 - won't compose send email in Yahoo/AT&T; only loads half a page of AOL News. Yes, I've done a restart. Chrome seems not to have this issue.

Hello. Recently I've noticed video quality has been reduced on amazon prime video. I get a message saying my hardware doesn't meet HDCP requirements.

I've already tried playing the same video on edge, and the quality selector was fine there, full HD video.

Hello, Today I tried to upload some images to a seller on eBay, and consistently got the popup pictured below. I've never seen, heard of or had this issue before and searching for it comes up with nothing useful.

Whenever I click my mouse somewhere blank on a webpage firefox will always select some text/image despite being nowhere close to it. This does not happen to me on chrome.

Hi. For the past few months I have been unable to play samples from the Audible website in Firefox on my android phone. When I click the word "Sample" Audible opens up a new tab with their Web player and I always get an error message that is just a rectangular box with an exclamation mark inside a triangle on the left side of the box. (Screenshot attached.) There are no words inside the box and the only option is to close the tab. Since there is no actual message I'm not sure what the problem is.

Playing samples used to work fine when you could play them within their web page before Audible changed its system. I seem to be able to play samples on Audible's Web player in Chrome, but would prefer to keep Firefox as my default browser. I have tried deleting all history, cookies and cache; closing and reopening Firefox; turning phone off and starting again after an hour. I've also tried enabling autoplay, but that made no difference. I was thinking that the issue may be with my other settings within Firefox, but I can't tell. Any help you can provide would be great. I tried the troubleshooting mode, which turns off all the add-ons. Despite that, my Firefox still lags. For example, when I click on a new tab, it takes a couple of seconds to open. When I am typing, it takes a few seconds every now and then to catch up. Additionally, when I am scrolling, it will be unresponsive for a couple of seconds before jumping to where I supposedly scrolled to. I am using Mint Linux Firefox 128.0.3. Processor: 13th Gen Intel© Core™ i7-13700HX × 16. Graphics:

Since the auto-update to version 128.0.3 (64-bit) two weeks ago, my Firefox crashes as soon as I switch over to a different programme. I am on Windows 10. Whenever I try to re-open the programme, I get the error message that Firefox is already running and if I want to restart or quit. Can you please deploy a fix for this? Thank you.

I noticed today that there's a small blue cube appears at the tip of the mousecursor inside a firefox window , I guess it's some keyboard shortcut I accidentally activated but can't find any info on where to disable

the bookmarks menu won't list alphabetically. I have gone to manage bookmarks and chose sort A to Z. It will sort right then, but when I exit that menu it goes right back to not alphabetical

Since re-installing ZoneAlarm Security Suite (due to a ZA problem) last evening, after I turned on my pc today I am getting a new tab opens up on every FireFox browser window seeking permissions for "Harmony Web Protection Privacy Policy". (There are four new tabs for that which have opened since I commenced typing this!).

Is this a ZA problem or a Firefox problem? Also, please, how do I get rid of these damned new tabs? TIA.

I have the latest version of firefox. I've cleared the cache and so on. Any idea on how to solve this?

After 129.0 update, Hulu streaming quit working. I have other streaming services that still work fine. I tried it on older version of Firefox 115.14.0esr (64bit) (old pc Win 8.1) and it works fine there. Can I go back to an older version of Firefox or is this a known issue with update?

This is the issue, Hulu website loads and allows you to log in. When you try to stream a show, it plays a commercial then freezes.

I recently updated Firefox to the latest version, and ever since, it crashes immediately on startup. I haven’t installed any new extensions or made any significant changes to my system. I’ve tried restarting my computer and reinstalling Firefox, but the issue persists.

Is anyone else experiencing this problem? Are there any known solutions to fix this crash issue? I really rely on Firefox for my daily browsing, so any help would be greatly appreciated!

I have Hulu live tv streaming and the video is not streaming. I get a black screen when I select a channel or an item from the library. This also happens when I try to stream local tv stations' 24 hr streaming sites. Other streaming services (Disney+, ESPN+, Netflix... etc) stream just fine. Hulu works perfectly in Microsoft Edge but I truly prefer not to use it. I've been using Firefox for years. This has happened after the latest update of Firefox. The update before this latest I experienced a similar problem and using the trouble shoot mode narrowed it down to a problem with Adblocker Ultimate extension. I deleted the extension and reinstalled it and the problem corrected. I did the same this time and no success. I have cleared the cache and reset Firefox and still the problem exists. TIAF any help.
