I've been using Firefox home content shortcuts usefully on my Windows system. I installed Ubuntu on Vmware last night and synced Firefox account in it. After that, the home content shortcuts are all changed to the default status. I think it's because that I clicked the sync now button on Ubuntu. Is there a way to roll it back? Thanks.

Hello! I synced my browsing data yesterday by signing in to firefox account and reset my OS(window 10) to improve my laptop's speed. When I am trying to get back my browsing data back after resetting and installing firefox by signing in to my firefox account and pressing the Sync Now button then its not giving me my browsing data back. Why is it so? Need Help. Thank You!!

Currently, I use Firefox version: 116.0.2 on Ubuntu 20.04.6 LTS.

I encountered a phenomenon like this:

• When I logged in to the application, in the tab I was working on, the Firefox session memory was lost (don't open new tabs)

What is the cause of this phenomenon? How can I fix it?

in the recent days, I tried several times to get a new laptop synchronized with the Firefox bookmarks on my main PC. I did it already successfully with my old laptop and with my mobile phone some time ago. But now I have problems, because I cannot confirm my log-in on the new laptop. I am told that I get a mail with the verification code, which I need to enter in 5 minutes. But the mail is alsways received some hours (!!!!) after intitiating it. My email-account is with arcor.de (which is also with vodafone). I found already the advice on your pages, to enter firefox (respective mozilla) on a white list of the provider. But there is no whitelist existing. What can I do now? The five minutes limitation is killing the possibilty to verify my firefox account, if the mail needs hours to reach me. Other mail are coming rather in time.

Please change primary email to [edited] @gmail.com . I used account to brouser data (Bookmarks, history). Thanks.

I had to reset my computer and lost the bookmarks there. When I reinstalled Fifefox I had to reset my password and lost my bookmarks associated with that email address. HOWEVER, I have firefox installed on my mobile phone with all bookmarks intact. Is there a way to get the bookmarks from my mobile to the laptop?

My Subject pretty well says it. I'm trying to transfer by syncing my desktop Firefox with the Firefox 124 on a newly installed Kubuntu on a new laptop. I have all these functions synced ON. The recent history but not the long-term history, passwords (thank heavens), and all bookmarks got transferred, but not the open tabs/pages. I've done the desktop sync followed by the laptop sync a few times, still without the tabs' transferring. How do i get those transferred?

Hello, I recently created a new sync account for work so I wouldn't have to use my personal sync account. I noticed after creating the new sync account it still retained my passwords from my personal account. Is it safe for me to delete all my personal passwords on the work account or will it also delete those passwords on my personal?

Hi. I am a graphic designer and Web master. I use your browser since I think it's the best. I did a format of my pc and I forgot the password of my account. So I did forgot password. Thinking all my password would of sync and follow me. But it didn't. I had over 1000 password from site that I have recently work on and some still working on it. Which were most of them auto generate. Which I wouldn't have a clue of any of them. PLEASE Is there a way for me to regret my passwords? Only the password. Please thanks!

I was forced to reformat my computer today and I seem to have lost all of my passwords that were saved in Firefox.

I did not back up any of the files that were on my PC as I was unable to do so. I think I have been able to log back in my account and find my passwords.

When I logged back into my Firefox after re-installing it, my passwords are all gone. I need help!

I’m being advised via emails from Mozilla, to update my browser. It says it’s up to date. A cut off of 31 March has been stated.

My mbp won’t run higher than OS X 10.11.6. Firefox 78.15.0esr the latest browser for my system..afaik. I am on the ESR update channel, and think it updates automatically.

Am I being left high & dry by Mozilla? Something in the emails about syncing…? Not convinced if this is something I should be doing something about or not…

Any advice or insights much appreciated. The suggestion seems to be that I will be shut out without passwords and recovery keys and whole load of inconvenience…? Thanks in advance, Tim

On one laptop right-clicking on a tab gives me a Send tab to device option and when I click on it I get a message that the tab was sent. But the tab doesn't arrive on the other laptop. 2. Though I'm using the same version of Firefox on both laptops, I can only find the send tab option on one laptop because the menus are different. And many of the instructions I see online describe items on the menu that just don't show up. I know that I was once -- I don't know how long ago -- able to send a tab from one laptop to another. Most of the instructions are about sending from a phone to a desktop or vice versa. I hope someone can help. Thank you.
