Trying to browse to a website that I know is safe, but it's an old site and it looks like the security certificate is expired. I'm getting:

"Firefox detected an issue and did not continue to jeconais.fanficauthors.net. The website is either misconfigured or your computer clock is set to the wrong time.

It’s likely the website’s certificate is expired, which prevents Firefox from connecting securely.

What can you do about it?

jeconais.fanficauthors.net has a security policy called HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS), which means that Firefox can only connect to it securely. You can’t add an exception to visit this site.

The issue is most likely with the website, and there is nothing you can do to resolve it. You can notify the website’s administrator about the problem."

I cannot find a way to bypass this or turn this off. Why is there no option to do this (when there has been in previous versions)?

As a Firefox user, I want to be able to whitelist websites as they continue to be impermissible to people using their website without having to give up all privacy, such that their website works.

Replication Steps: 1. Open Firefox Browser 2. Go to top left and click hamburger icon (3 horizontal lines) in top right under the close option 3. Click Settings 4. On left side click privacy and security 5. Locate permissions in the submenu 6. Location -> Settings 7. Add website into search bar and hit enter to add to whitelist

Current Result: Cannot add to whitelist and cannot utilize website with browser. Will be forced to use competitions browser.

Expected Result: Site would be added to whitelist and therefore allow use of a site that is arbitrarily adding forced location permissions because vpns are well... hurting their bottom line to be frank.

I'm developing a PWA website that relies heavily on the sqlite.org wasm libraries and origin private file system (OPFS). On firefox-dev 116.0b8 my website at app.kumaflash.com stopped being able to read the database it had been successfully using for months prior to that. I've also asked on the sqlite.org forum here: https://sqlite.org/forum/forumpost/3bb8b83c45 but haven't found any solutions yet.

You can see a thrown together video of the app working normally here: youtube.com/@kumaflash

and the error I receive is: OPFS syncer: xRead() async error: GetSyncHandleError: Error getting sync handle for xRead(). 6 attempts failed. kumaflash.db : NotFoundError: Entry not found

If I manually open the OPFS in the console I can see that the file is there with this helper function in my app: var p = await _app.xdcards._lsOriginPrivateFSDir("/"); //that's an L for list ListOriginPri...

Additionally I can't debug because the firefox debugger crashes whenever I try to inspect my app. The debugger crashes on firefox-dev and release versions on every computer I've tried (with this app only). The chromium debugger works but the error doesn't happen there.

Any ideas on what I should try?

Hello, lately Firefox has been acting odd for me, certain websites such as Discord are left stuck on a grey screen, the "people also asked..." tabs on Google won't open and youtube videos won't start.

I have tried clearing the cache, restarted the computer and reinstalling Firefox but no dice.

HI, at some point during the past year, Firefox "email link" tool (under the File menu) stopped functioning when selecting Outlook.com as the email client. See screenshots. When that client is selected, it attempts to open a new email in Outlook.com, but it never opens. It's just an endless cycle of that mail image trying to open. (It works fine with other email client selections.) Windows 10. Thanks.

Every time I log in to Comcast.net, which is my home page, I get the following message:

"Secure Connection Failed

An error occurred during a connection to idm.xfinity.com. Peer’s Certificate has been revoked.

Error code: SEC_ERROR_REVOKED_CERTIFICATE

The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem."

This started happening just a few days ago after your recent upgrade. If I get a new window, I can then log in to Comcast. Why am I getting this message now. It's only started recently and I've been using Firefox for years.

The URL above is a weather radar overlay that updates every 10 odd minutes to new frames. For some reason I have to re-set the page multiple times a day on my desktop computer (fine on the laptop and a different display computer).

It's the only site I seem to have this issue with but also the only computer I'm having the issue with too.

I've done an uninstall/re-install and the issue still exists.

I have realized I am flooded by alien bookmarks coming into the browser. I have never used any sync options and I made my account within the browser on this very day. I am not using firefox on any other devices and I am 100% sure these are not my bookmarks, they have 0 visits and they appear to be added at one moment. It appears that someone else's bookmarks had been loaded into my collection. I don't know where to look for the source and the Sync option only shows one connected device.

After installing Firefox 116.0.1, I find that while browsing websites I must disable AdBlocker Ultimate to view products on some sites. This was not a problem in previous versions. Oh, I just tried doing a search using DuckDuckGo and results were not displayed unless AdBlocker Ultimate was disabled. Other than allowing all ads on all web pages, what can I do to correct this problem? Thank you.

I believe this issue started today. When I print using the Firefox dialog box, all of the printed pages are in color even though the color mode is set to Black and White. I have not changed any of my printer setting and have been using the same printer for many years. The printer is an HP Officejet Pro 8600. I have Firefox version 116.0.3 which was just updated today to that version. When I use another browser (Google Chrome) the pages are printed in Black & Whte. Therefore this appears to be a Firefox issue. I am using Windows 10 64 bit. How can this problem be corrected so that the pages will print in Black & White when I use the Firefox diaglog box? Thanks.
